^^For me di advisable na gamitin ang emergency funds for investment. Ang emergency funds dapat readily available kapag kailangan ninyo, if gagamitin mo for investment paano kung wala pang return ang investment mo at bigla ka ng nangailangan? Ang gagamitin for investment is yung amount of money na willing ka i-risk so most likely sobrang pera mo lang siya.

^I agree. The purpose of emergency fund is in the name itself.

Hi sis magkano usually na iniipon mo for lumpsum, by next yr kasi magstart na kami maghuog sa pagibig loan namin, target ko rin mag lumpsum every year, ok na ba yung 200k malaki na ba maitutulong mabawas sa principal or should I aim 300-400k per year?

Build our retirement fund
Build an educational fund for our kid (maybe an additional small trust fund to help him out financially in the future)
Be done with mortgage in max of 15years

We have consulted a financial planner from the bank, it is not a bad idea to get an advise regarding money matters. Marami kayong matututuhan regarding wealth management, how to manage your income better, when and how to invest ( stocks, mutual funds, bonds, etc.)

My parents and siblings will move in, in  a few days. We are still waiting for the delivery of furniture. ;D

For the remaining months of 2018, mag-iipon ako para magbakasyon next year sa Pinas at maisama ko mga siblings ko sa out-of-the-country vacation. Never pa namin yun nagagawa.

Note: With a Philippine passport, you don't need a visa to travel in Asian countries. So if you have dual citizenship and two passports, then you can use either to enter a country visa free.

Except Japan and South Korea (not sure if may other country/ies pa that requires visa if you are a Philippine Passport holder).

*Ipon uli para mabawi ko gastos ko sa mga travel goals ko for this year. Yung ma-save ko gamitin ko uli for travel.

Read this in one of the articles here:  "An article on CNBC says that in your 30s, you need to have the equivalent of your annual salary saved."

So my 2018 (and probably 2019-2022) financial goal is to have the equivalent of my annual salary saved. Good luck.

^^China I think also requires a visa for PH passport holders. Dati Taiwan rin, but currently waived na Taiwan visa.

^That's a good benchmark

-----

I'm happy kasi kahit nadelay, we're able to slowly build our emergency fund. Next goal is to get another insurance and start our retirement fund naman.

^true.
