^Maybe we are unclear of the definition of what is "good." I'm not referring to saintly, close to perfect men naman. That's being idealistic. After all, we're all humans.
Maybe, to be clear, I'm leaning towards the belief that there are more men who have the capacity to be in a committed relationship (e.g., has empathy, can admit that one is wrong, change his ways, teachable) than dysfunctional men (e.g., chronic cheaters, sociopathic, narcisistic).
This is where subjectivity again comes in. Not only because of what we have seen outside but what is also 'acceptable' men to us.
Single nga batugan naman.
So I'm not only referring to dysfunctional men. But normal men who are not capable of raising a family, being a provider, faithful partner that also knows how to care for his wife and and respect her.
Kaya para sakin maraming lalaki Hindi capable to raise a family. Especially in pinas.
From the whole male population, alisin mo yung bakla, married/engaged, big age gap (sakin 12yrs older and up or same age and below), then cross out the men with the traits above.... sabihin mo sakin if chances of winning the lotto is higher than finding the guy right for you. Di ba?
Then once you find him, you have to see pa if compatible kayo or may chemistry/spark.
see how difficult to find Mr Right?
But but but it doesn't mean we will give up. Naniniwala parin ako na may nakalaan talaga para satin. If we live our lives the way we should, we will find the right person, eventually.
Pero pag mga babae naman, mas marami pa namang masinop, masipag, simple, mapagmahal, willing to care properly for the husband and kids.
We're doomed.
Yes I think women are. Comparing both genders, looking at history... men are philanderers by nature.
If they can care for their wives and their families properly, ni Hindi magkakaron ng women empowerment. Hindi maiisipan ng mga babae lumaban or be providers or even gampanan ang role ng mga lalaki (i.e. Working).
At tska bakit Pinas lang, do we have studies that say there are more lokoloko men in Philippines than other countries? It's a common story sa OWWA ha.
I honestly haven't seen or maybe di ko Lang alam any of this phenomenon in other countries. Catholic country pah.
Di mo din ma icompare kasi pinas with Europe or US kasi sobrang Catholic country ang Pinas eh, well supposedly.
but sis, I'm not saying you're wrong naman but I'm really not convinced that more men out there are eligible to make great husbands. and It would really be very interesting if I can find that argument or proof to refute my beliefs.
Kaya one solution ko for TS... look elsewhere.
