New home, ladies!
 Link
to the previous thread.

To avoid redundant posts, here's a guide to the embassy's websites where you can apply for your Schengen Visas:

French Embassy

Italian Embassy

German Embassy

Spanish Embassy BLS Service

Dutch Embassy VFS Service

Czech Republic

Austrian Embassy

Belgian Embassy VFS Service

Norwegian Embassy**Also representing Finland, Iceland, Sweden and Estonia

Cost of Tourist/Business Visa:  EUR60  (short stay - less than or equal to 90 consecutive days)
EUR99 (more than 90 consecutive days)

Where do you apply?

If you intend to visit only one Schengen country, you must apply at the Embassy or Consulate of that particular country.

If you intend to visit several Schengen countries, you must apply for a visa at the Embassy or Consulate of the country which is your main destination (longer stay).

For example: France (3 days) Germany (6 days) Netherlands (2 days) Italy (4 days) **Apply at the German Embassy**

If you intend to visit several Schengen countries but do not have a main destination (equal number of days), you should apply for a visa at the Embassy or Consulate of the country which is your first point of entry.

For example: France (4 days) Germany (4 days) Netherlands (4 days) Italy (4 days) **Apply at the French Embassy**

Sisses,

In your experience, hinahanap ba ang leave approval (will be applying thru VIA for study in Italy)? Still in process kasi (since it's a 4-month study leave medyo matagal process). I plan to file kasi by 1st week July because I should be in Italy on September 2. Hope that's enough time. My friends say naman they got their study visas in 2 weeks lang.

TIA!

This is a very stupid question for those who applied sa VIA. Was there kanina (for study visa)...

1) tama ba na after payment (as in literally pagbayad mo), pwede ka nang umalis? You keep both receipts? Haha.
2) I was only asked to pay for the visa fee (long-stay study visa is not free), and the service fee of 1,100.

Hope someone could enlighten me (although I will check thru phone din naman kung walang makakasagot nito in 3 weeks' time haha).  TIA!

Hi! i'm a little bit confused, i'm planning to go to Germany on Sept 2-12 for a business trip and sightseeing, then i will go to Netherlands on Feb 6-18 for a business and sighteeing trip.

Can i apply for a multiple entry visa? for the 2 trips? or do i have to apply one for september and the other on February?

i've read that you will be allowed to entered on a 90days/ 180 days? thanks!

^you can apply for a multiple entry visa just state your other trip as a basis for it. Better if you have supporting documents as proof of your next trip.

Finally received our approved visas from the French Embassy :).

I have 2 kwento kasi hiwalay ang application namin ni hubby.

Book appointment, show up on your appointment, consul will check if complete requirements, biometrics then bibigyan ka ng stub kung kailan ang collection.

Pagdating ni hubby sa VFS nakalimutan nya print yung ticket namin from Budapest to Prague.

Background lang kay hubby, may multiple US visa sya, multiple Japan visa and previous Schengen Visa.

Sabi ni VFS, go na lang sa paglodge ng application tapos contact na lang sya ng embassy if need to follow yung mga missing requirements nya.

After 10 days, nareceived namin ang refusal letter from French Embassy. Reason is unable to justify purpose of the trip! Stress na stress kami! Haha

So inadvise kami ng agency na maglodge ng new application (so bagong bayad nanaman). After 4 days, approved na visa nya! Whew!

Lesson learned na lang, make sure na super complete kayo - be very OC. Hehe.

Update lang: I lodged/submitted docs for my third visa application in Norway Embassy (all of my Schengen visa applications were from this embassy) last July 25 -- I received an email that visa is approved July 27 and ready for pick up by July 28.

Was granted 90 day per entry / 1 year multiple visa. :) :)

^yes :) not sure if it helped that all of my previous applications were with them. And the last one was fairly recent (March). Hopefully you get yours within the week!

^^Ohh! Got an email na din from the embassy this morning. Unfortunately, single entry and exactly on the days of our trip lang binigay na visa. Nevertheless, it's better than denied hehe

^Congratulations! You can now start planning/finalizing itinerary! :)

Comment lang on the visa sticker: I dont get kung ano ang basis nila sa selection ng photo to be used.  Two out of the photos used were taken during biometrics, yung isa, dun sa binigay ko na photo.

^Thanks! Actually, everything is ironed out already. We are just waiting for our visas, so, we can fully pay the organized tour we availed. We don't want the hassle of planning the transfers among the Scandinavian countries kasi hehe

Hello! Is it really necessary to include the train tickets when you pass the application? Is it ok if you just put it in your detailed itinerary to that you are going to take the train to go to another country? I am going to take the THALYS TRAIN from Amsterdam to Paris but on their website there's no option to reserve. I'm a bit hesitant to buy it since i don't have a visa yet. They offer flexible tickets but the price is almost triple. I'm going to pass my application to VFS France this Thurs. Thanks in advance.

^no need. Just indicate in your itinerary that you will be taking the train. You can buy your train tickets as soon as you get your visa. Good luck!
