Swerte ng asawa mo..may asawa na nga, may kabit pa. Sorry sis pero wag mo ipaglaban ang tao na dulot lang sayo e sadness / misery. Ganda ng buhay.  Tama na ang sadness.  What kills you unti unti? Analyzing  ano nasa utak ng asawa mo.

I agree. Technically he still married to you but he is no longer yours ever since you guys separated years ago. Place your shoes on the partner. What would you feel? He was no good when you were together and the fact that he still has the guts to tell you he loves you but still couldn't decide which woman will he choose that means there's really a flaw with his character. If he really loved you before he should have taken all means to be with you or at least waited until both of you were ready to start over again. True love waits ika nga nila. But he started a family again and then all of a sudden intends to leave the other party to be with you? Magulo. Sobra. Stay away from complications.  Asikasuhin mo ang annullment and find yourself a decent guy. Let go of him. He no longer deserves you.

Hello everyone! I was a silent reader of GT until I read this thread and captured my attention because somehow, I can relate to TS. Let me share my story. 19 years ago, I married my best friend and my high school sweetheart. We got married early (we were 3rd year college that time) because I got pregnant. We're often described as the "perfect couple"  but there's no such thing as perfect, we had ups and downs but we always manage to get through it.  Our marriage started really, really strong because siguro nga, high school yung foundation namin. Akala ko kilalang kilala na namin yung isa't isa but I was wrong. After I gave birth to Z (our daughter), he changed. Everything has changed. He became too controlling, sobrang seloso, bossy, and the next thing I knew he was abusing me emotionally. I was hoping to save our marriage, kaya 2 years din akong nagtiis. Hanggang sa hindi ko na kinaya and decided to leave, I ended our relationship. My daughter and I left the country, he was constantly communicating with us and begging me to come back but sa isip ko, I've had enough. So I filed an annulment years later, it was really messy and masakit pala talaga. But eventually, I've moved on. He continued his life too, we stopped talking but hindi naman sila nawalan ng communication ng daughter namin. Fast forward to 2007, I met someone else. I had a partner. I felt like I was given second chance to love again. I was so in love with him, para bang all the pain and heartaches from my previous marriage were all worth it because of this new man in my life. We had a daughter, Y. He treated my eldest daughter as his own. We all lived happy life.

Until late last year, we (just my daughters and I) had a vacation in the Philippines. Malapit na din matapos that time yung annulment case namin ng ex-husband ko sa wakas. But one time, my eldest daughter asked me if I'm okay to meet his dad, I thought kaming tatlo so pumayag ako but on the spot nalaman ko na dalawa lang pala kami. Sobrang tagal naming hindi nagkita and after so many years of not seeing him, I saw him as my best friend/high school sweetheart and not as my ex-husband. Parang nag-flashback lahat ng good memories. Nag-catch up kami, puro happy thoughts lang. It turned out really good, walang awkwardness. Nung natapos yung gabi na yun I thought it will be our last time, but naulit ng naulit kahit hindi alam ng daughter namin. Walang time na hindi kami naging masaya together, kitang kita ko yung happiness sa eyes nya and feel na feel ko naman yung happiness ko, I fell in love with him all over again.. So to cut the story short, I cheated on my partner. He never knew about it until I got pregnant. Yes, I got pregnant by my husband turned ex turned lover. Everything became very complicated. Inamin ko lahat sa partner ko, we broke up, nasa kanya yung custody ng daughter namin. I ruined everything. I have no excuses and it was all my fault. Right now, nakabalik na kami abroad, my husband and I are back together and I'm 7 months pregnant. Sobrang bilis ng mga pangyayari and I still don't know what will happen next but I'm hoping for the best.

Parang telenovela! Oh well, it happened already and you admitted to your wrong doing. Let's just hope that things will go well this time. Ang mali lang naman dun sa nangyari is hindi mo muna tinapos yung relationship nyo bago ka na-involve sa ex mo ulit. I wish you the best!

^^just for clarity lang,  so you're back together with your first husband right? sometimes, i feel like things have a way of correcting itself.  hopefully, if you are with your first husband, you've learned from the past and have a better relationship this time.
much luck to you!

^ Yes, I got back with my first husband.

Need all the luck in the world. Hoping that sooner makita ko na ulit yung second daughter ko. Because of what happend kasi, kinuha sya ng ex-partner ko and moved away. I'm trying to reach out to her but she doesn't want to talk to me na. But I know this is my consequence for all that I did, parang I gained my first family back (+ a new baby) but lost my second daughter naman.

This was him years ago...

So just last year, you met each other again (your first husband). Then you felt that "soul connection" kaya you're head over heels in love. I'm hoping I'm wrong. But if my hunch is right, this kind of man has been excellent in charming his way back into your heart. You feel you're in cloud 9. Sorry to burst your bubble, but I hope he wouldn't treat you like a trash again after finally winning you back. And sana nga for you, love is sweeter the second time around.

Mommyx3_ thanks for sharing your story.

I was so in love with him, para bang all the pain and heartaches from my previous marriage were all worth it because of this new man in my life. We had a daughter, Y. He treated my eldest daughter as his own. We all lived happy life.

Mommyx3_ -  imo, the one that got away is the second partner, not the first husband. I feel sad na naghiwalay kayo and on your cheating.

Nung natapos yung gabi na yun I thought it will be our last time, but naulit ng naulit kahit hindi alam ng daughter namin.

Seems to me you have a track record on reacting fast to situations. You've let your emotions overrule you - which brought you where you are today. Twice ka nabuntis nang Hindi planned and you allowed yourself to cheat on your partner who has been good to you all along.

Right now, nakabalik na kami abroad, my husband and I are back together and I'm 7 months pregnant. Sobrang bilis ng mga pangyayari and I still don't know what will happen next but I'm hoping for the best.

Wala nabang isip isip ito? You just have to come back in pinas? Paano na future ng first Daughter mo, your career? Yung magiging baby mo? Aren't you better off staying abroad?

I just thought very reactive Yung mga decisions mo. You may have other reasons for doing so, but I agree sobrang bilis ng mga pangyayari. Hindi ba puede mag slow down? 😓

And lalo akong natakot when you said 'you don't know what's gonna happen next' as if you're just waiting for things to unfold. But you have a 19yo Daughter with you, and another kid on the way. And your other child na nahiwalay Sayo - you're just leaving her din?
as the Mother of 3, I believe YoU should be strong for your 3 kids and plan your future well for them. And don't just allow others to plan your life.

Now that you're already where you are, no point wallowing on past mistakes. But in all your future decisions - sana you can use your head more than your emotions and start prioritising the future and well being of your 3 kids (and not your first husband).

Thank you for your replies and insights! Really means a lot to me.

^ Girltalker2, I mentioned na we are back here abroad because tama ka nga, my daughter's life is here and my career as well but my husband is still in the Philippines, although he wants me to stay with him for good. I know I didn't decide and think very well - puro emotions lang talaga. That's one of the things I regret the most. But anyway, I decided not to stay in the PH muna ulit para ayusin lahat dito sa country ko lalo na sa second daughter ko. This time I hope I can make my future decisions right. Thank you for expressing your opinion! Somehow nag-open yung mind ko.
