Please share the the things you DIY-ed for your wedding. If you can also share the pictures, number of pieces, cost, and where you got the materials.

I see a lot of tutorial for fabric bouquet. I kind of want to try it. Also, parang gusto ko din mag semi DIY ng centerpieces. But I don't want our reception venue to look like a huge art project. Also, nag aalangan ako na baka mas mahal pa and kapagod.

A friend of mine who got married last 2015 DIY-ed her
Response Cards (with a small mug and candies in it) and Invitation.

I think there's a thread for DIY.

So far ang DIY namin for the wedding:
- invites, menu, place card, give away tags
- gifts for the bridal party - make up bag for the girls, charger cozy for the boys
- cord made with glass beads
- veil
- garter (stretch lace and applique)

Just make sure you don't overdo it. Kasi nakakapagod mag DIY. Yung iba day before the wedding di pa tapos sa projects nila.

In monetary terms yes, for example:

- invite designs mga 10k if you get it designed professionally. I spent 1k and re-used the graphics for all the other paper supplies
- for the cord, the one I liked and patterned my DIY one after, it was 4k. I spent mga 500-700 sa Wellmanson and madami pang sobrang material that I used for my veil and will use for my garter.
-garter, the one I like is 4k made with stretch lace and applique. I will spend siguro under 500 pesos.

In terms of time, hindi tipid because I don't really know what I'm doing I spent a lot of time.

- invites - a whole day plus more adjusting and re-adjusting the placement
- cord - 3 tries ata kasi I can't figure out the right spacing. The first version was too short then too long

Yes, lahat DIY. Madali lang sya basta may materials and sewing machine ka.

Ang ganda ng invitation mo sis.. how did you do that?

^ I bought the art and then designed using photoshop. It's very easy... basic photoshop skills lang - resizing lang and moving the flowers until you get to a design you like.

They also have pre-designed wreaths, bouquets and borders that you can use.

Fron SLERJ Inc in Caloocan. They do mostly advertising work and large prints.

We know the owners so we got a very good rate.
