Babies due on Third Quarter 2017 (JULY, AUGUST, SEPTEMBER)

Ako sis trumpetclive, every two weeks na ang check up. Nagstart ngayon month lang. Kasi third tri na daw sabi ni doc kaya mas need ako imonitor and si baby. I will have 4d ultrasound on my 8th month which is June. Hopefully, normal naman lahat. No cleft lip/palate and definitely no down syndrome or whatsoever abnormality inside out. Pray pray lang tayo mga sis na healthy tayo ni baby palagi.

True na hindi mandatory ang maternal milk. Even my OB naman hindi nya ako pinilit uminom nun. But its good daw for brain development ng baby bec of DHA content. Pero since may last checkup eh naglose ako 1 pound, she required me to drink it twice a day. Yung friend ko naman pinastop uminom ng enfamama kasi she was on the borderline of having GDM. We have the same OB.

Hello Momshies, ano yung mga things you usually ask or discuss with your ob? Kasi pag check up ko na parang wala ako masabi.

Update lang ako mga sis, okay naman yung sa Glucose Test ko. normal lahat.

Binigyan ako ng Iron just in case dw sa result ng blood test e mababa, pero wag ko daw muna inumin. Tawagan nya ako if mababa based dun sa blood test results.

Ako rin sis @dewb, wala matanong hahaha. Minsan tinatanong ko husband ko if may tanong sya na maisip. Nung last time, nag ask lang ako about vaccinations if may need ba ako na gawin. siguro kung may nararamdaman ka na anything, you can ask if that's normal or not.

Nung mga unang buwan wala ako masyadong tanong. Nagkaron nalang dahil sa kakaresearch ko and all the things you must know when pregnant hehe. Basta pag may question ka lista mo agad. Keep a notebook with you pag checkup tapos tanong mo lahat sa ob. Ok yung ganon para same pag kayo.

Ako naman buti walang GDM. last month 4 lbs. agad tinaba ko in one month. Sabi lang ng ob magbawas ako ng carbs yun lang. tapos this month konting diet so 1kilo lang dagdag. Malaking bagay pag hindi ka nag rice.

Nagpacheck up din ako regarding sa ogtt ko, nasa borderline kasi ang 2hrs result ko. Pinagdiet ako ni ob at endocrinologist. Today, balik ako kay endo so she can give me an advise para sa 1 week diet na ginawa ko. Hopefully hindi ako mag insulin kasi di naman tumaas sugar ko. Malaki din ang tinaba ko dahil masarap talaga kumain pero this month sobrang pigil, brown rice and veggy lang kinakain ko. No more sweets, sa umpisa lang naman mahirap lalo na kapag nasanay na madami kumain pero kapag sinanay mo din pala ang sarili mo sa healthy foods mas magaan sa katawan.

Usually mga sis kelan ba ang everyweek check up? Start ba sa 7 mos. next visit ko pa kasi tatanung kay ob.
Nararanasan nyo din ba na minsan congested ang nose nyo? 7 mos na kasi ako, and pansin ko mas frequent ko nararamdaman na paranga barado ang ilong. hehe

Same tayo sis pretty. Borderline din sugar ko. Found out on my 27th week. Nirefer din ako sa endo because mababa [textspeak!] ft4 ko. Then pina repeat sa slmc. Ang mahal kakaiyak. Pero the result came ok kaya happy na din. If mababa pa din kase ilolow dose thyroid hormone ako which I dont want to happen. I was advised to have low carb diet din para di maging GD [textspeak!] result ng ogtt. Ob said irerepeat ulit maybe on my next checkup bibigyan na ako ng request along with the endocrinologist request for another ft3 ft4 fbs hbag test.

2 weeks checkup na once you're on the 28th week till 36th week. Then weekly na once 36th to 40th week.  I gave birth at 39th week on my 1st baby.

^Thanks sis gquind_rn and good for you sis na ok ang result mo, para kay baby. Ako nga din ang mahal ng strips ng glucometer ko kasi 6x a day ang monitoring ng sugar ko. Endo advised me na mag 1 week pa na diet so babalik ako ng katapusan ng May. Mukhang happy naman sya sa result ko compared dati dahil napipigilan ko talaga kumain ng madami at matatamis para kay baby as in pigil na pigil kahit ang may mga promo ang favorite sweets ko like crispy kreme, la lola, etc hehe. Mas kampante ako knowing na every 2 weeks na pala ang check up namin ni baby sa ob hehe lagi ko kasi gusto marining ang heartbeat nya.

@kiz_me1109 - Thank you, Mommy! I just had my Flu Shot last Friday. Compared to Tetanus Toxoid hindi nangalay ang braso ko and I didn't experience decrease in fetal movement kay baby. Parang lalo pa nga sya naging malikot. Hehe. And yes, I paid P200 din sa Tetanus Toxoid and P1600 sa Flu Shot both administered by my OB.

@layladesilva If LMP ang basis, I should be on my 34th week pero sabi ni OB ang susundin daw namin is yung lumabas na EDD sa very first ultrasound ko. Mas accurate daw yun kasi sobrang liit pa ni baby pero nadetect yung EDD, not sure if tama intindi ko so currently at my 32nd week lang.

@highness127 We were lucky at my 18th week nakita na agad na we are having a Baby Boy, pinagbigyan agad kami dahil yun talaga ang gusto namin gender ni husband. I think magaling din yung OB-Sono ko kasi nakita nya agad yung maliit na "nakatusok" kaya nasabi na Boy. Hehe.

@afea To be sure I bought both na rin (Maternity Pad and Adult Diaper). FTM so I don't know which one is best to use.

@gquind_rn One day nakaexperience din ako ng ganyan, parang ilang hours na di malikot si Baby. I got nervous din so I said to myself if after dinner di pa rin sya malikot, magpapa ER na ako kay husband. Good thing in between 1-2 hours after dinner, lumikot na ulit sya. Whew!

@trumpetclive Entering third trimester, ilang days din ako nakaramdam ng paninigas ng tyan. My OB said it's normal kung malikot si Baby then tumitigas ang tyan. But one afternoon while working, sobrang tigas ng tyan ko and masakit sya. My husband and I ended up going home early. Inihiga ko and tulog ng konti, nawala naman but hours after naninigas na naman sya. The next day na lang bumalik ulit sa dating lambot yung tyan ko. I guess it's Braxton Hicks + pagod na rin from work, nagsabay. So ngayon, hinay na lang talaga from office and household works.

Hello Mommies. Update lang with our 2nd munchkin.

I am finally done with blood tests. Ang dami niya. Complete cbc, blood typing, vdrl, HBSaG, ogtt and hiv test.

During the procedure I was told that bawal pala for pregnant ang HIV test. Kaya they have to let me sign a waiver na ok lang sakin. For me, ok lang naman because i want to make sure. Mahirap na kasi ilang beses narin naman akong na inject so better safe for me and the baby.

All negative naman except for the elevated result ng blood sugar ko. Medyo hinay hinay na ako sa sweets especially CS pa naman ako.

First week of June will be my next check up and I am so excited to confirm the gender. Last time kasi it was only 92% and I want to confirm it 100%.

Kayo ba mommies, nag HIV test din kayo?

Sumasakit ang back part ko, right side.  Nangangalay ba yun? Bed rest ako at usually facing left ako, or lying flat with pillow on my buttocks para naks elevate ang cervix (short cervix kasi ako).
Ayaw ko naman uminom ng pain killer... though next time itanong ko narin sa oby.
Kayo ba sis nasakit din ang buto? Bakit kaya?

^normal yan sis kasi may relaxin hormones na nirerelease to loosen up ligaments etc. when you lie on your side, try putting pillow between your legs na din.

sa first tri naman yan pinagawa sa kin pero di na ko nag HIV test. hindi kasi covered ng HMO ko hehe.

Hello po. Buti may gantong conversation dami ko natututunan. Im on my 23rd wik wala p ako ultrasound next check up p daw. Excited n din ako grabe tulad nyo. Pero wala k ako na bibili damit baka pag nalaman n namin gende saka n kami bibili. Sana lagi din kau safe at ang baby..

Thanks sis @ohhellohazel! Onga e, I'm thinking of getting both nalang din if ever and see which one will work for me. Hahhaha! 

Sa first checkup ko palang sa OB, they checked for HIV and Syphilis agad. Pero wala naman waiver na pina-sign sa akin. Kumuha lang ng blood for that sa akin. Ano ba yung kinuha sayo for the HIV test, sis @kiz_me1109? Alam ko kasi blood sample lang needed for that e.

Nangangalay din ako kapag natutulog kasi nga nasa left side ako na nakahiga. Thinking of putting another pillow sa back part ko, pero maliit lang na pillow. Right now, I'm just using an additional pillow between my legs.

Ako simula nung 2nd tri gutomin na haha! Though medyo pinipigilan ko kumain ng dami kasi ayoko lumaki masyado si baby pero super hirap magpigil! I'm 27weeks na start na din ng every 2 weeks check up. Breech pa si baby. Sana umikot na siya sa mga susunod na weeks. Have you decided kung you will go natural or epidural? Kinakabahan na ako. Grabe.

^Hindi pa din ako nakakapag decide if natural or epidural ako, maybe sa next visit ko i'll ask my ob. Totoo nga sis ang hirap mag pigil kumain pero ayoko din lumaki ng sobra si baby. Next week i'll have my pelvic ultrasound to check ang laki ni baby and at the same time kung umikot na din sya kasi breech position din sya the last time na nagpa ultrasound ako.

30 weeks na and just found out we're having another baby boy! basketball team daw sabi nila haha..through CAS namin nakita yung gender and thank God wala naman nakitang problems kay baby na I'm hoping magcontinue until pagkalabas nya yung pagiging healthy nya

OB also mentioned na best to take CAS on your 5-6th month kasi im almost on my 8th month na so medyo buo na si baby mahirap na makita if may other anomalies sa loob ni baby..but still we're thankful that he's doing fine inside sa tummy ko kahit minsan pasaway ako lalo na sa food hold on baby!

Hello Mommies. I'm on my 24th week and super likot na ni Baby. Back to OB kami this weekend for my Monthly checkup. im super excited kasi we will finally confirm my baby's gender. Last ultrasound kasi breech position and 92% lang. This time sana 100% na. hehe

Madalas narin tumitigas yung tummy ko. This past few weeks kasi nakaka stress sa work. Super. I hope my baby is ok despite the stress na nararamdaman ko.

Question Mommies... Ok pa ba mag travel by land (car) on your 34th week? Like from Manila to Batangas?  It's my son's birthday kasi and he asked if we can go sa isang resort sa Batangas. Also, I am planning na doon narin mag Maternity Photoshoot.

Hi sis @kiz_me1109! I just checked that din a few days back. Sabi okay lang daw mag travel naman as long as you are comfortable with mga long drive and to make sure na may breaks in between to stretch legs and of course toilet breaks. Basta ang advice lang is to inform your OB about the impending travel kasi si OB mo ang nakakaalam ng history and condition mo if fit and okay to travel for that number of hours by land.

Saya naman, maternity shoot! Corny kasi asawa ko. Ayaw ng maternity shoot meron na dapat kami last week outdoor shoot. Ayaw nitong husband ko ng outdoor daw. Mag studio nalang daw kung gusto ko ng maternity shoot. Kainis lang. D man lang mapagbigyan ang buntis.
