^Sis yung icead chai, 1 $ ice cream pretty much everywhere naman, madami pa nga masarap pero yang 3 ang note worthy, yung chicken rice naman, sa Sentosa ko kasi banda nakain, medyo posh na resto so baka kaya masarap, pero maski yung mga hawkers naman ok din lasa for me, pili pili lang.

sisses, saan ok kumain sa USS? checked their site, parang konti lang pwede sakyan ng 1 yr old ko hehe. sabagay ok lang din kasi habol ko lang talaga is makita nya si elmo.

share ko lang din pala, at hingi rin ako inputs nyo sisses.. may binook na ako sa airbnb, kaso gusto ko icancel kasi nung binigay na yung address sa akin, ang layo from MRT pero sabi nung host 10 min walk lang daw. eh kung every day ganun kalayo lalakarin namin tapos may baby pa kami kasama parang hassle naman. kung kayo papipiliin, saan mas ok -- farrer park, somerset o aljunied?

^Geylang area is not too far sis from the Mrt station but pag mainit and umuulan, medyo hassle. You may take the bus and alight at the mrt station para di kayo mahirapan ni baby. Mas ok na ngayon lalo na pag may pram, no need to fold it and carry baby to ride the bus. Another option is to rent a limo or van. Pag marami kayo, mas tipid and di rin sayang ang oras kakaantay.

Regarding food, maraming masasarap na kainan dito. Me and my friends love hokkienmee, bak kut teh, popiah, satay, sambal stingray, sambal kangkong, salted egg chicken, salted egg prawn, sliced fish soup.

But the biggest factor is if you end up near a bus stop or MRT...
I was near a bus stop, and half a KM away from a train station.. but then again, it really depends on your preferred mode of transpo. Although SG is friendly for strollers, I can just imagine how annoying it is to move around @_@

^^Thank you sis! Nicancel ko na yung booking ko, nalalayuan ako kasi 2 streets away from MRT, hanap ako ng mas malapit. OK pala rin sumakay ng bus at hindi na kailangan ifold ang pram. Saan sis nakakapag rent ng van aside from hotels? Note ko rin yung food na sinabi mo. Thank you!

^Salamat sis! Oo nga, parang hirap kung lagi kaming may stroller. Planning to buy a lighter and compact one para sa trip namin.

When we first arrived in Sg, my girl was less than a year old. The ergo baby carrier was more used than the pram. Nung toddler na my daughter we use the umbrella type stroller more since it?s lighter and easier to move around.

Places to stay? Better if near the city center but still depends on your budget sis. Singapore naman is safe and accessible by public transpo,  you can also use gothere.sg if you need directions on how to go around.

Hi, first-timer to Singapore here. Will be traveling with small kids under 5 years old. We'll only have a day and a half. Do you girls recommend we do Universal Studios and the aquarium on our one full day? Or a city tour? Our hotel is pretty nice based on the pictures so I think we'll be spending the half day enjoying the hotel's amenities. Would love to hear your suggestions.

^Most of my friends  spend 1 full day at Uss sis lalo na if they want to enjoy the rides. No more energy to do anything after na sa sobrang pagod but if sight seeing lang doable naman to sidetrip since iisang area lang din. 😊

^Thanks for the reply. If it was your first time to Singapore and you only had one day, what would you do?

I'm torn between going and not going to Universal Studios since we're not big on amusement parks. May kasama pa kami senior citizens kaya isa pa yun. As for the kids, they won't know anything about it anyway, unless, of course, we hype it up for them and tell them beforehand that we'll be going to Universal Studios.

Pag 1 day lang ako with senior citizen and toddler, I will take them to either Gardens by the Bay/ Esplanade area or cable ride and tour Sentosa Island.  Others do the hippo and duck tours.

^sis crzysxycl we stayed in an airbnb accomodation in chinatown. pagbaba mo mismo ng apartment, hawker center and chinatown MRT station na.  2 adults and 1 7year old kid kami and we took grabcar nalang for moving around. mas convenient and halos ganun din ang price kung mag mmrt kami tatlo.  10-15 mins nasa downtown area na.

if ill stay in sg for just one day, siguro ill go sa marina bay area, merlion, helix, esplanade, gardens by the bay sa sunset, then dinner at makansutra.

Sis smile22, pwede mahingi yung link nung place you rented sa airbnb? Yung nicancel ko kasi mixed reviews, yung iba sasabihin malayo, iba naman malapit daw. Hindi kasi binibigay ng hosts yung exact address unless magbook ka. Kami naman sis 5 adults, 1 infant kaya 2 cars if mag grab kami. Thank you!

 hehe sis baka in general hinde pasok sa panlasa mo ang Singaporean food.
Ako kasi isa sa pinakagusto ko sa SG ay Food. Lived there for 5 years and to be honest hinde ko hinanap hanap ang Pinoy food. My husband din sarap na sarap sa mga pagkain dun.
Pinaka OK kasi sa SG is diversity sa food, nagkalat ang Singaporean, Malay, Chinese, Indian (nakakamiss), Japanese, Korean,  Western even Pinoy food madami na din.
I mean sa mga simpleng foodcourts, stalls sa mallas you can find decent Japanese or Korean eh dito satin sa mga restuarants ka pa pupunta.
My inlaws who visited me a couple of times ayaw din ng mga pagkain dun. But yung family ko naman even kids nagustuhan.
Pag may mga bisita, hati din. Meron may ayaw meron may gusto kaya minsan hiwawalay pa ng kakainan.

^Magkakasundo tayo sis kasi ang ipupunta din namin sa SG-KL trip next month eh pagkain LOL.  I esp love Peranakan cuisine.  My hubby not so much before pero siguro dahil sa kakakain ko ng curries, spicy food and the like eh nagustuhan na din nya haha.  First time namin sa SG kasi lagi namin naiisip na anjan lang naman sa tabi at madaling puntahan. 

As part of my research, nanood ako ng mga food vlogs like yung kay Mark Wiens and Erwan Heussaff, episodes about SG ni Anthony Bourdain.  Now excited na talga akong pumunta at lumamon esp after dieting for the past 4 months

Mas-okay nga ata mag-sightseeing and food-tripping na lang sa one day trip. Parang hindi mo masabi na nakapunta ka ng Singapore kung hindi mo man lang nakita yung Merlion or Marina Sands or Gardens by the Bay. Salamat sa suggestions.

Pinaka-excited ako sa food, lalo na sa Indian food. Halos walang masarap at mura na Indian food dito sa atin. Pinaghahandaan ko na din ng diet ngayon, para lamon na pagdating SG!

Makikisali sa usapang food mga sis. Anong masuggest nyong local food na pwede iuwi ng pinas? When we went to HK, nagsisi ako dahil di ako nakapag uwi ng egg tart kaya this time I'll make sure wala ako pagsisihan haha.

San okay magpapalit ng pera?  Baka di na kami umabot sa pag-reserve sa Sanry's.  Czarina pala di na authorized to sell foreign currencies.  Puro palit lang sila.  Magbaon na lang kami US dollars.  May Cirrus ATMs naman siguro agad sa airport?
