^hmm..odd. That's what the taxi driver told us po. I was even surprised ma sabi niya na kami pa rin bumaba. Like they park somewhere and they will accompany sa immigration. When I was at either Tuas and Woodlands, the immigration lane that we were in had no taxi (yung mga drive-thru immigration) Separate lane yung mga public transpo.. Walang taxi dun sa lane namin (didnt know where they were).

Is this the regular taxi din ba? Kase with 4 people and our luggage, di kasya ng regular taxi Lalo na nagshopping pa kami sa JB Outlets @.@.. and I could be wrong, maybe what we got was called a "taxi", but we actually got a limousine service?? (upon googling the cars and the prices parang limousine service ata yung tawag) and walang taxi talaga sa immigration area... Now I'm doublechecking if we truly got a taxi, or baka private car..

Kakabalik lang namin galing SG. Ang saya rin pala mag vacation ng walang internet. Haha.. di namin nagamit m1 sim kasi pang 2g lang pala yun sim 2 ng phone ko.

Namimiss ko na homemade iced tea. Mukhang palagi na naman kami nito sa kopi roti.

Super convenient nga sa strand hotel. 1st time kong kumuha ng accommodation sa downtown and maganda pala ang ganun.

Share ko lang mga sis itinerary namin.
Day 1 suntec city, merlion park, esplanade and makansutra
Day 2 singapore zoo, imm (nakakatuwa mag window shopping dito!! Sa susunod mag iipon akong bongga para may pang shopping) and mustafa
Day 3 sentosa (dina kami nag uss, ikot ikot lang kami sa sentosa)
Day 4 orchard, chinatown and gbtb (for me overrated yun hainanese chicken rice na nafeature kay a. Bourdain, mas masarap pa yun sa vivo city)
Day 5 last minute window shopping sa bugis

Kami din kakagaling lang namin sg. We stayed at oxford hotel. Accessible siya sa bugis and may malapit na mall. Very stroller friendly nga ang Singapore. Kaso andaming tao smoking outside.

Most people hindi warm and accommodating. Mas friendly ang Malaysians.

Since di malakas tiyan namin,sa bon chon lang lagi kami nagdidinner.yung breakfast sa hotel, lunch sa Starbucks and universal studios..😁

Singapore changi airport is so beautiful.but naawa ko sa three year old son ko kasi kinapkapan and pinagtanggal  siya ng shoes tapos parang nakaka tense yung lady officer  magsalita, di maintindihan ang English niya and super sungit.  Medyo natakot yung baby namin dun..

^ aww sa dinami dami sis yung son mo pa talaga na ramdom check nila. I lived in SG for 5 years and about 5 to 6 times a year ako dumaan ng airport, never pa narandom check, lagi ko dinadasal na wag nila ako icheck hehe todo kapkap kasi talaga.

hi sis blackgreen pano kaya malalaman kung 4g capable yung phone ko haha. Balak ko din kasi bumili ng m1 tourist sim sa klook. kaso 2014 model pa yung phone ko baka ndi 4g capable lol.

dual sim din yung akin. baka ganun din.

^pwede mo yan sis macheck sa sim card manager or sa mobile data settings para malaman natin kung hanggang saan yun sim 2. Sulit nga sana yun m1 sim. 100gb!! Sayang lang at diko napansin na 2g lang pala sim 2 ng phone ko.

Subscribing to this thread to have travel budget for 2. I am saving up for my sisters SG trip just for 3 or 4 days. I am wondering if 15k each is enough for each? not  including airfare.

If 15k is merely for going around the city, i think its doable. However, you need to remember medyo pricey ang mga resto dun so what we usually do we eat at hawkers and foodcourts. Marami naman na mura na food dun, just walk around. Also take busses or train going arpund the city. Not advisable to take a taxi specially if dalawa lang kayo. Taxi is best if marami kayo or may kid and seniors kayo na kasama. hope this helps.

We stayed at oxford hotel in Singapore. I'd say the location is very accesible sa mall. Free breakfast sa hotel but for dinner, naging suki kami ng bonchon. Walking distance from oxford hotel. Hehe.😄

As for the transportation, naka coach service kami nun kaya wala kami idea sa taxi fare and buses and trains..

hello sisses. we're finally going next week. 2 adults and 1 kid. any final tips/advise to make our stay stress-free?

Here's our iti and alloted budget:

Day 1: 5.40PM Arrival in Changi. Taxi service to Johor Bahru.
Day 2: Legoland Malaysia whole day. Taxi service to SG.
Day 3: USS & Luge
Day 4: SG Zoo, walking trip merlion - helix bridge - gardens by the bay
Day 5: Kampong Glam/ Lil India  / Chinatown (buy pasalubongs) / back to manila at night

airfare: 15k 2 way
klook activities: 20k
airbnb 4 days: 8k
arnd 25k for food and transpo (hawker and bus/train)


btw where's the cheapest place to exchange currencies? mura ba sa airport? and meron naman siguro sa changi kung magpapapalit kami ng Malaysian Ringgit? TY

For Malaysian Ringgit , i had mine changed at Lucky Plaza. For the SG dollars, i ordered it na sa bank. The rest naman sa Legoland when we went there i used my cc. Yung ringgit ginamit lang na,in to buy our lunch outside legoland when we arrived.

Sa mabini kami bumili sgd. I dont know if may nagshare na dito dati pero pag sgd to php papalit dito sa may mabini area kapag below 50 sgd (small bills) iba ang rate. Might as well ubusin na lang sa sg or sa changi na magpapalit.

Hi sis thanks so much for this helpful info. I've read a lot about hawkers area that it's really good and affordable. Starting to plan for my sisters SG trip

We're going next month, anniv trip na din.  First time namin sa SG so excited, esp to eat 

In your opinion, where is the best:

1. Laksa
2. Chicken rice
3. Chili crabs

Dami ko kasing nababasa so I wanted to get GTalkers' suggestions mas credible.

Also, which is better: MBS Observation Deck or MBS Skypark Sightseeing Experience?  Anong ibang magagawa dito?  P917 per person kasi sa Klook, so I don't know kung worth it ba kung viewing and taking pics lang naman ang magagawa.

Kami rin hindi pa nag-buy ng tickets for MBS and Gardens by the Bay, kasi nung 1st time ako nagpunta, gabi na yun kaya nag-ikot ikot lang kami sa labas.
As 2nd time, I'm going with the family, inuna namin i-buy yung USS and Madame Tussauds/Trick Eye

hi sisses! convenient ba sa sg pag may kasamang 1yr old baby? i mean in terms of transpo. para ba syang HK na maraming lakad kailangan? iniisip ko kasi baka puro karga lang abutin namin ni hubby, bigat pa naman ni baby.

Chicken rice -2 years ago I went to Tian Tian at Maxwell Food court in Chinatown. Masarap naman but parang maliit serving. Mahaba na pila at 11AM. The staff mabait sa akin kasi nahalata yata na tourist ako so very patient sa akin sa ordering, parang masungit sila sa locals.

I can?t recall sa laksa and chili crabs, parang pareho lang naman sa bawat shops and restos. Char kway teow is what I miss though. This stall again in Chinatown, nasa baba siya ng parang housing building nila, was so good kasi madaming mini chicharon without the skin. I forgot the name but I found it in a blog by a famous Singaporean blogger. Again they were nice to me because I look like a tourist, sungit nila sa locals.

^^ Sis, parang kahit saang bansa naman, kung hindi kayo mag-cab or mag-rent nang car to go around, marami talagang lakaran. Stroller-friendly naman ang trains at buses in SG.

Okay ang Singapore Zoo, pwedeng diretso na rin kayo sa River Safari kasi nasa isang area lang 'yun.
