Done with our final wedding preps, madami din kami naacomplished sa last uwi namin sa pnas before the wedding.
1. Confirmation ni hubby - St. Michael (malacanang)- Ang bilis lang talaga though we went there straight from the airport started at 8:00 am to 12:00PM . Nakaktuwa kasi puro mga kinakasal lang talaga nagpapakumpil. Note to have heavy breakfast kasi aabutin talaga siya until 12, or better magbaon nalang.
2.2nd Fitting with Mel Orlina-Surprisingly hindi na talaga ako pumayat so exact na yung gown sakin. At first parang kinabahan ako kasi yung gown ko talaga yung pinakaleast priority ko ewan ko ba, but then siguro nakita ni Mel yun, then she finished the upper part na yung gown ko para makampante nako. Initially i wanted it to to be tube or as it is na, pero she recommended me gawin off shoulder kasi may konting armpit fats ako (ang hirap talaga alisin kahit puro upper excercise na ginagawa ko) so tinapos niya yung upper part, she put a lot of appliques but then i told her i wanted to be as simple as possible, she never stopped from there so inadjust niya based on my request, she extended our fitting that almost took 2 hrs for her to do it. Naawa ako tuloy dun sa susunod sakin as she was supposed to fit din kasi kaso nakita kasi ni mel na hindi pa ako satisfied. But then she talked to her nalang to come back good thing yung other bride is working lang nearby. So after two hours lahat ng request ko nagrant except for the filling ng gaps, full embriodery kasi yung sakin so kelangan na itahi yun. Im so happy with the outcome. I showed them to my closest bestfriends and sobrang positive ng feedbacks.
Im so happy with Mel.Finishing nalang talaga yung gown and kahit umuwi ako siguro 5 days before the wedding sobrang magiging kampante nako sobrang important yun dahil overseas bride ako.
3.Nat Manilag - sobrang happy si hubby sa outcome ng suit nya and exact na yung fitting, Iadjust nalang few days before the fitting gusto nya kasi sobrang tapered ng pants and dahil nagloose weight siya may konti adjustment. Hands up din ako kay Nat kasi sobrang humble and sobrang bait, hindi ka maiintimidate kahit marami siyang artistang clients.
4.Final food tasting and Detailing with K by Cunanan - Natapos narin kami sa final food tasting, medyo hindi masarap yung mixture ng foods sa final Ft namin dahil narin siguro yung mga gusto ko natikman na namin during the initial so yung final FT yun nalng yung pandagdag. Except for the following na nagustuhan namin and sinama na sa final menu

grilled cheese, tomato soup shots- ang tamis ng tomato soup shots kaya hindi ko nagustuhan
hoisin chicken wrap/ hoisin crackling pork wrap- included on our final menu
chicken on crisp tortilla, arugula, caramelized onions- ang tamis din
mini eggs benedict-so so lang
bacon wrapped dates - ang tamis

Roasted corn, sour cream, cilantro - ang tamis

Barbecue chicken salad - included on our final menu
Watermelon and feta, citrus dressing- ok lang pero feeling ko hindi magugustuhan ng iba pero refreshing ang lasa
Main Course
Honey nut prawns
Barbecued baby back ribs, corn with parsley butter / corn, creamed spinach and corn bread
Japanese rolled chicken, cheese and leek- so so lang
Mixed seafood pasta, chopped fresh tomatoes, pesto drizzle- hindi ko masyadong feel yung lasa
Roasted rosemary chicken with stuffing, broccoli and cashew salad-included on our final menu
Crusted dory, sweet soy glaze, asparagus, mashed potatoes- opted for honey nut prawns or else ito sana kukunin namin
Dessert
Queso de bola cheesecake - ok lang pero medyo so so
White chocolate cake- i love this included on our final menu
Flambeed mangoes and vanilla ice cream- torn if i will get this or the green sorbet with bagoong
Cotton Candy cheesecake truffle oil was not able to taste pero included on our final menu as cocktail food
As for the styling im happy narin with outcome- medyo marami kasi add ons pero dahil puro greenery yung sa deco namin medyo less yung gastos compared if i will have florals.
We are only having black, gold, white and green in our tablescape so that makes it more simple and minimalist. I think hindi naman nahirapan si Nina sa styling namin kasi sobrang straightforward nun designs namin.
We also availed the bar service ( we bought wines from SNR and duty free) we bought moet hennesy and Mo?t & Chandon tapos habiki. Parang napamahal kami sa wines. Pero ok narin since mixed yung guest namin.
4. Invitations- We alredy had our invites(medyo maaga) pero okay lang sobrang nahassle kami sa printer (Printcafe) kasi nagcommit sila ng date pdro end up nadelay siya ng few days which nakapagbago ng schedule namin. Hindi namin nadalaw yung mga principal sponsor namin sayang. As for the quality of the printing and callirgaphy sobrang positive naman ng feedbacks. Meron mga ayaw buksan yung invites, meron naman sobrang nagandahan na ayaw na daw buksan sa labas palang.So i think invites are the first impression from your guest. Ang downpoint lang two pager lang kasi invites namin so hinanap nila yung portion ng entourage list. We didnt add it kasi ayaw talaga namin. Medyo gusto namin modern type so mga traditonal may side comments.
5. Pre cana with Cefam- Sobrang highly recommended namin ang cefam( we had one on one session) pero sobrang ang laki ng impact samin specialluykay hubby. Nafeel ko mas natuwa siya dito and even tell to his friends its the most important part of wedding planning. Important points na bigay nila samin is how to use the language of love and how important communication is.
6.Canonical Interview- sobrang bilis lang nito and nakakuha narin kami ng priest, meron na ba nakaexperience dito kay Fr. Lorenzo or Magallanes. Sobrang cool nya lang sabi niya we will catch up dinner before the wedding kasi gusto niya personalize yung homily.
7. Paolo blanco- i saw the material of the bridemaids maganda siya tapos na lahat ng gowns although meron kelangan baguhin dun sa MOH gowns, medyo di maganda tahi sa upper part pero buti nalang nasabi agad ng maaga. Sana mabago pa siya. I read some reviews about paolo here. Thank you sis sa review medyo naheads up narin ako.
Problema ko nalng yung gown ng mga sister ni hubby to be parang wala sila sa mood maghanap ewan ko din kung magkukusa na kami bumili since well off naman sila.
Overall it was a productive uwi in the PH. We were now kampante and happy. Back to work na ulit.
