SUPPLIERS REVIEW (LONG POST):
A Budget-Friendly Caleruega Wedding  ♥

I know it?s so long overdue, dahil sa nag back to work na kami agad after the wedding and nagdaang holidays, but ito na mga sis! Sharing our Suppliers Rating and Detailed Reviews, and rates nadin to help out and inspire some fellow brides here who wants to have their dream wedding with a limited budget. I?ll be sharing some of our raw and enhanced wedding photos.

We prepared our wedding for 1.9 years, and we?re a proud overseas budget couple. hehe!
We pulled off our Intimate Caleruega Wedding with roughly P285K budget, but one of the reasons why we had that budget is we booked our supplier as early as we could. We booked most of our suppliers between Q1-Q3 of 2015, and as we all know mabilis sila magtaas ng rates, so kapag decided na talaga after reading all reviews and all, book your date as early as you could para ma price-lock.

Hindi rin talaga ako nag review agad agad, kasi pinanood ko lahat ng raw clips namin and inisip ko talaga ng sobra yung review namin that I would be fair and honest enough for our wedding suppliers. I hope it would help future brides / couples na ikakasal din like us.

Since we?re a budget couple, talagang nag focus kami sa needs over wants, sa mga kaylangan lang on the day of the wedding. Kaya sa mga soon to be budget brides like I was, na medyo big concern ang budget, for sure kaya nyo din yan. At the same time, sobrang natabunan ng happiness namin yung mga nega vibes that day kasi yung mga invited guests namin, they stayed until the very end at sabay sabay kami lahat umalis ng reception right after everything. If your guests truly love both you, they will stay no matter what despite of the long travel and consistent unpredictable weather.

Our wedding was not perfect, may mga lapses talaga. But we chose to let it go during the day. BIG Thanks to Father Allen, kasi from the start na nag homily sya, wala na.
Hope this helps mga sissies!!!

Guests Count : 80 pax
Wedding Date : December-03-2016 @ 10:00 AM Ceremony

CHURCH ? P 15,000
10/10 : Transfiguration Chapel of Caleruega

Caleruega is my dream church. It?s really the perfect church for our intimate wedding.
Very responsive sila thru email sa mga calls, wala ding hassle when it comes to payment and pagpasa ng documents.

OFFICIATING PRIEST ? Stipend based on couple
10/10 : Father Allen De Guzman

We love Father Allen! Sobra Sobra! But it?s not. Sobrang mahal naming sya. We booked our date March 2015, by that time we requested for father Allen na. We just got his confirmation last week of Sept 2016. Sa mga gusto sya maging OP, you need to patiently wait, 2-3 months prior to your wedding date for his confirmation. He no longer allow personal message na during wedding ceremony, because of the memo from CBCP. I don?t want to become a spoiler, kaya I chose not to include na in my review kung ano iyon. It?s all worth it, I swear. Worth it lahat ng prayers namin and yung paghihintay namin for his confirmation.

WEDDING RINGS ? P 24,500
10/10 : Sky Jewelry Dubai

We bought our rings in Dubai. It?s 18K customized white gold ring with one tiny diamond each. We loved our rings, and pinag usapan talaga namin ni hub na we will invest with our rings kasi isa ito sa mga maiiwan samin after the wedding. We can lowered down our budget if just chose a simple one, pero dahil gusto naming may maayos ng wedding ring, we chose to buy yung rings na alam naming maisusuot parin namin kahit umuwi kami at mag commute sa Pilipinas. Lol

CHURCH STRINGS / CHOIR ? P 5,000
10/10 : Madz & Dzhei Band - TRIO : Violin | Pianist | Singer [Madz]

It was our last minute decision talaga. Dapat mag mp3 / downloaded songs lang kami kahit sa church because of our budget, pero we can say that, getting them was one of our best decisions na ginawa.

We chose IKAW AT AKO by Johnoy Danao. We transferred that copy sa mobile ko and every time we listen/watch the vid, nakaka goosebumps parin. Sobrang highly recommended!

FLORIST ? P 11,600 (Complete Entourage and Church Arrangement)
10/10 : Cuatro Hermanas Flower Shop by Shiela Libramonte - Tagaytay Based

Isa sa mga sobrang pinakamamahal naming supplier! Sobrang bait ni Ate Shiela and will really work on your budget. Upon inquiry, as in ZERO IDEA kami sa flowers. But since Caleruega is very beautiful na on its own, mas gusto naming very simple arrangement lang and syempre budget wise. Alam din kasi namin after the wedding, malalanta lang yung flowers so we?ve decided not to spend too much para dito. We chose simple and local flowers lang.

Ento:
I initially wanted to have baby?s breath pero hindi ko alam na mahal pala sya kasi imported. Hehe! So sobrang na broken heart ako kasi gusto ko talaga yung plain white and green lang for our entourage, pero least sa option namin ang white roses kasi common na. Hehe! So ate shiela suggest na we will try to use local asters. Last year may wedding sya, ginawa nila yun as bouquets sa female ento and sobrang nagustuhan ko kaya yun din ang pinili ko for us. For my bridal bouquet, okay lang basta sabi ko naka cover sa burlap and lace, then naka motif sa peach and mint. She used combination of White Roses, Carnation, and may Green Cactus Rose (not sure sa tawag) Haha! Nagandahan ako sa bouquet ko talaga. Then sa Ninang corsages lang kasi mas mura yun kesa mag bouquets. Special boutonniere for Groom then white rose boutonniere for all Male Ento except sa 3 kids, sabi ko kahit wag na sila lagyan.

Church:
Altar Flower and Candle Holder as per usual. And dahil limited lang budget namin, we chose to have white lamps lang sa aisle. Nakasabit sa white na stands then may tulle nalang sa gilid para magmukang may design for wedding tapos loose white petals sa floor sa magkabilang side ng pews, then 2 Flower Stands lang sa magkabilang sides sa first pews, para may makitang flowers sa Entrance ko for the sake of SDE. hehe!

What she did to our wedding is SOBRANG NAKAKATABA NG PUSO.

Yung ninang na dapat white rose corsage lang, she UPGRADED into mini bouquets for FREE. Nakakaiyak talaga, sobrang generous! And isa sa mga sobrang nakapagpasaya samin is meron FLOWER ARC sa MAIN DOOR, then may 2 verses both sides ng Arc! She gave 6 pcs free boutonniere din para just in case may masiraan, meron kaming reserve. Sobrang highly recommended!

PREPS OUTFITS ? P350 (peach mini dress) + P570 (peach lace kimono) + 250 (GG Dota Shirt Hub)
10/10 : SM Dept Store (dress) / Splash Dubai (Kimono)

We love our preps dress! Especially my Kimono. Uso rin dito sa Dubai yung mga Kimono, it just so happened na wala akong nakitang white, kaya peach nalang binili ko. Gladly, it was on Sale when I bought it, from 100AED down to 40AEDx13PHP lang sya sa hehe! Value for money talaga for very budget wise bride na tulad ko. Sobrang ganda ng effect sa pictures kasi ang lakas din ng hangin during our shoot. Yung dress ko, hinanap ko nalang sa SM last minute, gusto ko talaga yung silk na sleeveless na parang pangtulog or spag strap and short, kaso walang bumagay sa kimono ko, kaya I chose a lighter shade of peach dress instead. I waas happy naman. No regrets at all!
For hub, since a Dota player since Forevs, ayun he bought DOTA and LOL shirts for his male ento as a gift, then bumili sya ng isang White Shirt na may GG code for him na sinuot nya during preps.

VENUE
10/10 : Casino Filipino turned into Casa De Corazon Event?s Place by Kuya Willie Gatpandan

Before kami nag push thru sa Caleruega Wedding, we initially searched for an affordable venue. And we found Casino Filipino Tagaytay. It?s worth 10,800 for an Airconditioned hall. It?s Magiting Hall if I am not mistaken, no time limit, no corkages, then indoor since lunch reception naman kami. With basic lights and sounds at white screen for presentations. When we booked L&J Catering last June 2015 and since si Kuya Willie is madalas mag event sa Casino Filipino, si kuya narin yung nag arrange ng lahat para sa payment and reservation ng Casino Filipino Tagaytay.
But last minute before our wedding, we received an offer from Kuya Willie that we can?t resist about sa pag transfer samin sa Casa De Corazon. Kuya Willie and Us made some arrangements but sorry mga sis kasi I can?t disclose here bilang respect namin kay Kuya Willie. Isa lang masasabi namin talaga, we were so blessed to have and got the chance to know Kuya Willie para maging part ng wedding namin.
The venue hall is real big. Pati labas kung mag garden wedding man. It has an ample parking space. Nagamit din namin yung holding area, and dun nag stay at naghintay yung HMUA namin for my second look, at yung PV team while editing kasi meron syang receiving area na may sala set at may small dining table kung san pwede kumain. May 1 Room with 1 Bed and Toilet, dun kami nag-ayos ni HMUA for my 2nd look.
Yung backdrop kasi is naka arrange para maging background ang taal, kaya yun talaga yung best spot for grand entrance.

It has a perfect view of Taal Lake talaga. Since morning wedding kami and maayos ang weather nung kasal namin, most of our guests went out for photo ops with Taal, lol. Anyone can?t resist talaga kasi ang ganda ganda ng view eh. Downside, nawawala ang guests sa upuan so sometimes it looked empty seats. Hahaha! Ang importante na-enjoy din nila at the same time yung ganda ng lugar.

Dahil lunch reception kami at fair ang weather that time, ayun it?s either you don?t need too much lightings kasi sobrang maliwanag yung place dahil open OR you can add some mood lights / LED lights para mas makadagdag din ng color sa venue at effect sa back drop.

All in all sobrang maganda ang venue. Easy to find pa kasi along mendez crossing lang, either commute ang guests or private cars, they can locate it easily. If you?re eyeing for a tagaytay venue with taal view, Casa De Corazon is the perfect place talaga.

CATERING ? P 67,000 (545/pax + 10% SC for 100 pax + 1 add?l course + pica pica for cocktails + 2K Tip)
10/10 : L&J Catering by Kuya Willie Gatpandan

As what I mentioned earlier, sobrang blessed kami kasi nakilala namin si Kuya Willie. As in! Buong puso talaga ang pasasalamat namin sakanila for our wedding.

We booked L&J Catering 1.5 years before our wedding, around JUNE 2015. Hindi namin sila kilala personally, talagang nag tyaga lang kami magbasa ng reviews and dahil sa puro positive feedbacks, we entrusted our wedding to them.

Pero if he gets the time, mag rereply naman yan sya. hehe!

First time namin sya ma-meet nung umuwi kami, October nagpa-sched kami kasi for FT and nag FT kami sa Gazebo Royale sa Silang. We went first sa office ng L&J and wala akong masabi, sobrang down to earth ni Kuya sa personal. We initially planned our wedding venue then yung contract, pero hindi pa final kasi nga mag FT pa kami saka yung # of guests. Our FT went well din, we loved the foods na sinerve samin. Sobrang courteous ng mga staffs ng L&J during our FT. From Bulacan pa kami then pumunta kaming Mendez around 11AM, nag ocular pa kami sa Soto Grande at Caleruega after our meeting, then saka kami bumalik pa Gazebo kasi 2PM ang sched namin. Gutom na kami nun kasi nga maaga kami nag breakfast and light lang, so sabi namin after FT, kakain kami kung san pwede. Nakakatuwa nga kasi sabi nung isang staff nung nalaman nilang hindi pa kami kumakain, he?ll make sure na aalis daw kaming busog sa FT namin. Hahaha! Hahaha! And take note, we we?re 6 heads that time, pero lahat kami pinakain nila without addt?l fee, kahit 4 pax lang dapat ang FT nila. Dun palang, sobrang generous na nila.

We finalized our contract NOV 7 then we settled everything na. We chose yung package B (per pax) kasi nga 80 guests lang kami.

Come wedding day, wala akong masabi. When we arrived, pina diretso kami sa holding area for retouch and my second look, then sinerve kami ng light foods yung clubhouse, soup, at chicken pesto grabe the best lahat walang itulak kabigin sa lasa! Gladly, kumain kami nun ni husband before our retouch, kasi nung program proper na kahit pinapakain pa nila kami at naka serve na yung foods sa side table namin, wala eh hindi na kami nakakain. Hahahaha! Properly served yung mga nasa VIP then we received compliments sa foods masarap daw talaga. Nandon din si John to check and guide the staffs. Alert sila whenever we need assistance like yung sa cake cutting, wine toasting, naka ready na lahat.

But like any other suppliers, Kuya Willie is not perfect din, tao lang tayo lahat. We had a minor issue with L&J, pero THANKS GOD talaga that we had Kuya Willie who treated us not just a client but a friend. Nakakaiyak yung experience naming iyon kay Kuya, as much as possible hindi na namin sana i-oopen up kasi nga sobra sobra yung ginawa ni Kuya for our wedding. But we felt the need to let him know. Salamat din sa mga ilang fellow sissies / wawies na nakausap ko who pushed me up para mag open kay Kuya, kasi we only want the best for Kuya Willie?s services.
Humble at its finest. TOTOONG TAO TALAGA. HE KNOWS how to HANDLE HIS CLIENTS FAIRLY WELL. He knows how to accept opinions, good or bad and will take it positively para mas mag-improve pa sila on providing their services. Sa mga lapses na nangyari sa wedding namin, IT IS ONLY KUYA WILLIE who APOLIGIZED to us FOR HIS HONEST MISTAKE. We felt na parang kaibigan / kapamilya kami ni kuya who can freely say anything to him.

We know na at some point in time, makakalimutan na kami ni Kuya sa dami ng clients nila, pero yung ginawa nila for our wedding and yung experience namin sakanyang hindi matatawaran, sobrang totoong tao, hinding hindi talaga namin sila makakalimutan at mahal talaga namin sila. Isa sila sa masasabi kong supplier na IT?s NOT ALL ABOUT THE MONEY. MAY PUSO ANG SERBISYO nila at may PAGMAMAHAL SA MGA KLIYENTE talaga. They indeed deserve all the blessings na bumubuhos sakanila. Super Duper Highly Recommended!

PHOTO & VIDEO ? P 35,000 + P 2,000 Gas Fee PreNup & Wedding
9.5/10 : Brilliant Bum Photography

We booked Brilliant Bum last year din around July, isa sila sa mga binook namin ng maaga. We only got Service Only package, pero sobrang win-win talaga. Full photo and video wedding coverage , prenup session with Love Story Interview, SDE, Cinematic highlights, Enhanced Soft Copies of Photos Prenup & Wedding Day saved in USB, Prenup AVP presentation on wedding day. Waived OOT Fee, instead gas fee nalang during shoot. We were charged 1K lang per shoot kahit bulacan pa yung prenup namin, tapos from Bacoor pa sya. Then 1K din sa wedding day. We got all the soft copies, raw and edited videos few days after our wedding, nag provide lang kami ng HD for the videos.
We first met nung nag pre-nup kami, November 22. I shared few of our photos here few months back. We love the photos! Wala kaming stylists, and nag DIY lang kami but it turned out well. Sobrang mababait at magaan kasama, parang magkakaibigan lang kami nung shoot. On time din sila. Sobrang comfortable kami sakanila kahit hindi kami sanay mag pose in front of the camera. Very creative kasi kahit DIY prenup kami, magaganda yung naging output and nagamit naman yung mga props na dinala namin.

Come wedding day, hindi ko alam saktong time na dumating sila.

Magaan sila katrabaho and very comfortable lang ako.

I remembered nung time na nag ooccur na yung problem before mag ceremony, isa si Serg sa nag e-encourage sakin and nag papa-kalma. He encouraged me not to lose my smile, and he kept on reminding me na OKAY ang lahat, and it will be alright, kahit alam kong hindi. I really appreciate his effort na itaas yung bumagsak kong spirit.

We loved our enhanced and raw photos, our prenup AVP and Love Story Video as well. We loved our SDE!!! They followed our simple requests; song choice and focus sa church scenes, include the church vows, and yung magagandang part ng homily ni Father Allen.

Yun pa naman yung part na umiiyak nako kasi I can no longer control my emotion, then inabutan ako ni husband ng panyo kaya sobrang naiyak na talaga ako nun.
As in literal pala na putol putol sya. If alam lang namin na ganun, sana pala pina standby lang namin yung isang videog angle na nakatutok lang samin para may buong coverage ng wedding, pero I don?t know if it?s possible.

We really admire Serg for his hard work. After the wedding, we got all the copies of the videos, edited and raw shots. Then 3 days after our wedding, flight na namin pabalik ng Dubai. Nakuha narin namin lahat ng soft copies ng raw and enhanced photos both, prenup and wedding day. Before kami mag punta sa NAIA, Serg did his best na maihabol before ang flight namin ng 6PM. We met him around 11 AM sa Bacoor, after nya ma transfer lahat ng files sa USB. Thanks God at wala syang shoot same day ng flight namin. Overall, they?re really a good team! Highly recommended!!!

HMUA ? P 12,000
10/10 : Make Up by Mhec Gado

I booked Ms. Mhec last year din, without any trial. Hindi ako pala make-up and wala, zero knowledge about any brands or types at all. We got her package na sobrang win-win kasi naka promo sya that time. Traditional for bride + 2 Heads Traditional + Grooming ni Groom. Unlimited retouch free AB upgrade and free 2nd look for Bride. Waived OOT Fee din kami sakanya, to think na hindi sya Tagaytay based. Yahoo!!! I had doubts pa noon if kukuha ako ng HMUA, kasi dati tuwing kaylangan ko mag make up, feeling ko nagmumuka akong bakla. Hahaha! So I scouted really hard kung sino ang ibo-book naming HMUA for me.

Yung team nya yung pinaka maagang dumating. They?re in the preps house around 4AM palang, madilim pa sa labas. Masayahin at very professional kumilos. Mabilis din sya, pero pulido naman. I loved my looks during our wedding. As in! Hahaha! I loved my hair too!!! Most of our guests nagsabi na bagay daw yung over-all ayos ng hair at make-up ko sa Bridal gown ko.

When we reached the venue, naghihintay na sila sa may holding area. Mabilis agad sila. Inayos agad yung hair ko, then before she made my 2nd look, pinakain nya muna ako. I loved my 2nd look too! Sobrang nailayo din nila yung look ko from the ceremony to reception. Lol! Over-all, sobrang highly recommended!!!

PREPS HOUSE ? P 8,500 Steve House (Bride Side) + P 7,500 Castle House (Groom Side)
9/10 : Soto Grande Subdivision

Both houses have 4 bedrooms. Standard check in/out. One of the good sides walang limit sa tao. As long as comfortable kayo. Maganda yung Steve house, bago pa sya. Lahat ng rooms, at kahit saang parte ng house maganda talaga. If may kids, need tutukan kasi baka makabasag. hehe! Bagay sya for preps ang daming part na pwede for photo ops, kahit sa labas pwede din dahil may flowers at matataas yung mga damo na magandang pang background. Wala ding gaanong tao / residence within the vicinity kaya magandang mag shoot, hindi ka maiilang kasi may nakatingin or walang photo bomber. Haha! Same with castle, maganda rin as per husband. I wasn?t able to visit the place na kasi late na kami nakarating ng Soto day before our wedding.
Very accommodating din sila Ate Rose (Steve) at Adam (Castle) house. Sila yung mga in-charge sa bahay for accommodation. We got to know them thru Kuya Willie and John from L&J Team. Late na kami (bride side) nakarating ng Tagaytay day before our wedding kasi na traffic kami ng sobra, pero she patiently waited for us.
I just gave them 9 kasi on the day na nakarating kami, saka lang kami na inform na may timing pala yung tubig sa soto. Medyo nagtipid kami ng gamit ng tubig during night time, just to make sure na may matitirang tubig kinabukasan before 6AM para makaligo ng una yung mga need ayusan, or kung may gustong mag toilet may gagamitin silang tubig. Thanks God at as early as 4AM, may lumalabas ng tubig sa shower at nag fflush narin yung sa mga bowls.
Hindi gumagana yung rice cooker sa steve house, nakailaw sya, pero parang hindi umiinit, so we transferred and coked our rice sa burner. Yung mga plugs nila, dapat meron kayong adaptor kasi 3 pins yung outlets nila (not sure kung anong tawag). Over-all maganda ang place for preps lalo na kung budgeted ang wedding. It depends on the creativity of your PV team nalang kung paano magiging maganda yung register sa camera ng mga shots.

CAKES & CUPCAKE SOUVENIRS ? P 5,760
10/10 : M Cakes by sis Normie (former W@Wie turned N@Wie)

She?s one of our favorites! Sobrang bait and accommodating! Ako daw yung first w@wie inquiry nya, kaya sobrang natuwa sya, and she gave us discount! Yay! Sobrang hands-on talaga sya, and masipag mag reply sa mga FB messages.

Since hindi ako mahilig sa fondant cake, we opted to have a naked one. And dahil sa praktikal akong bride, we chose a 1-tier cake only. Yay! Nakakatuwa! We ordered, 1-tier cake for couple, 4 Mini cakes for female PS, and 92 pcs na cupcakes with individual packaging for guests. Cupcakes cost P35 / pc + P10 for the packaging. I just sent our monogram para sa thank you tags and sticker labels na hindi ko inexpect talaga, ang ganda ng packaging at labels.

One good thing na very hands-on ang supplier and may good communicaton is like what happened to us. We initially chose carrot cake for us, mango cake for mini cakes, and chocolate for cupcake flavors. 2 days before our wedding, sis Normie updated me na wala daw talaga silang mahanap na matamis na mangoes for our mini cakes, ayaw nya daw i-risk kasi baka umasim kasi hindi season ng manga. She immediately informed me regarding that and nag-sorry sya kasi nawala din sa isip nya na hindi season ng manga ang December. So we made some changes, and dahil hindi ako familiar sa mga lasa ng cakes, sabi ko nalang kung anong best seller at ma suggest nya. Then we decided to have carrot cake nalang din for our mini cakes.

Day before our wedding, sis normie kept on updating me kaso since na busy na kami kasi byahe kami from Bulacan-Alabang-Tagaytay, hindi ko gaano napapansin ang mobile ko. She kept on sending me pictures ng update sa mga order namin sakanya. Nakita ko pa yung time nun, past 1AM so early morning of DEC 3 na yun nag message parin sya para ma update ako. When I got the time to check it, ang ganda ng packaging! Naka lagay sa cupcake mold na silver tapos pinatong nya pa sa white paper dollies kaya lalong naging attractive, then she enclosed it sa isang transparent dome type na packaging, ang ganda ganda lalo! Kaso nakita ko yung ribbons light pink and light blue. Hehe! Isip ko nung una, mukang pang baptismal yung color, pero I chose to let it go na kasi halos ayos na eh.

After my reply, hindi na talaga ako nakapag online pa. So I accepted na if pink and blue talaga sya.
When we reached the venue, I was so shocked! She changed all the ribbons, into a wider one then color white! Nakakatuwa! Nung time na nag open ako ng facebook after our wedding, nung mismong araw ng wedding namin nag send pa pala sya ng update na pinalitan nya na ng ribbons before she delivered it sa venue, hindi ko na na-seen yung mga updates nya na yun kasi hindi ko na hawak ang mobile ko. During our ritual for cake cutting, sobrang firm ng cake nya. Solid na solid yung pagkagawa, I mean when we sliced it, wala talagang mga part ng cake ng nag lose or kumalat. As in buong buo talaga sya. To think naibyahe pa namin sya ng walang box ha? Hehe!

Nai breakfast pa namin the following day. Sobrang highly recommended supplier si sis Normie of M Cakes! You?ll find a friend in her, hindi lang basta supplier.

LIGHTS / SOUNDS / PROJECTOR & SCREENS ? P 12,000
10/10 : Purplemix Lights & Sounds

We had a very good package with Purplemix. Mr. Christ is very polite, mabilis din sumagot sa mga inquiries and questions namin since wala kaming idea technically talaga. On-time sila, maaga sila nakapag set up, when we reached the church before 10AM, Ms. Kim informed me na ready na sila purplemix sa venue naka set up na.

One of our best suppliers din! Maganda rin yung sa microphone, lights are well coordinated by the operator.

When I watched our raw videos, dun ko nakita na kahit maliwanag, okay parin yung effects ng lights kasi kitang kita parin sya, like yung sa games namin na shot in a hole, may part dun na need magsuot ng sinulid sa karayom, and very attentive yung technical team ng lights and sounds. Yung ginawa nilang effects ng lights is yung parang lalo kang maduduling magsuot ng sinulid. Then kapag nasa couples area naman kami, makikita rin na maayos yung lights sa back drop.
Sa sobrang lakas ng hangin at liwanag ng place, for the LCD and Screen, we can?t complain regarding this kasi wala na talaga kaming choice.
Overall, we?re very happy.

KAPENG BARAKO SOUVENIRS ? P4700 + P400 (meet up fee)
10/10 : Coffee Ala Eh! Kapeng Barako PH

Since we have chocolate cupcake souvenirs, we chose to have coffee din para may ka partner. And it signifies us, as well. I love chocolate cupcakes, and si husband he loves coffee so much.
We had online transactions lang din with Ms. Roselle. We?re very happy kasi na-accommodate nya pa yung orders namin with a very short notice. 3 weeks before the wedding lang kami nag place ng order sakanya, and we?re very lucky that she accepted it. Huhu! I inquired to her around July, and we placed our order by November na, and hindi namin na price lock yung old rate nya.

Transactions were hassle free. We made everything thru bank transfers, then yung delivery is meet up sa alabang. Gladly taga alabang ang brother ko, kasi kapag delivery mas mapapagastos kami kasi from Lipa to Bulacan and per weight din mag base ang delivery charge.

INVITATION ? P2450 + P120 Shipping Fee
9/10 : Cumbidado

Initially, we planned of having E-invites nalang talaga, since overseas kami and very limited ang time. Hindi rin kami nag splurge ng sobra for this. But we opted to have at least few copies for our PS, para naman may mai-hand over kami kapag nag visit kami sakanila to personally invite them para sa wedding namin.

We mostly looked for a supplier na nag-accept ng maliit na quantity, and we found cumbidado. They?re accepting minimum of 35 sets. They have template copies and personalized din. Much cheaper ang template, so ayun ang pinili namin. We had 3 paged invites with envelope and monogram seal.

We gave them 9 kasi may times na parang na overlook ni jade yung order namin, then ang tagal na send samin yung lay out. Then nung sined na samin parang minadali, kasi nag follow up na ako. Pero after we made changes, naging okay naman na. Nagustuhan ko yung lay out ng invitation namin, kahit common and template lang ang ginamit, except for the paper. Wala rin kaming naging issue sa payment and delivery though we made all the transactions online. After we made the full payment, next day na deliver na rin yung invitations.

PHOTOBOOTH ? P4500
10/10 : Funnfactory Photobooth

Mr. Andrew Centeno is one of our best and trusted suppliers. Why did we say that? Because Funnfactory is the only supplier that we had na hindi humingi ng down payment or reservation fee.

Come wedding day, they showed up naman.

We had 2 hours contract, 2 frames na regular photobooth with their own tarpaulin background. But I noticed talaga na hanggat matapos ang event, andun parin sila.
Over-all highly recommended!

GOWNS & SUIT ? P8,000 (Bridal Gown with Accessories) P5000 (5 Piece Suit) + P4250 (1 Mom & Lola)
3/10 : Marilou Fresco Ramirez (Jenifer?s Bridal - Dragon 8 Mall)

Worst of all the worst!!!

Kinuha namin sya kasi in the first place, taga lugar namin sya sa San Jose Del Monte Bulacan. Ending we found out, nag subcon lang pala sya at yung gown at suit namin ibang tao talaga ang nagtatahi at sa ibang lugar nya pa dinadala at kinukuha na naging cause of delay. Sabi nya sa San Miguel bulacan pa daw tinahi ang gown ko and somewhere in Antipolo ata yung suit ni hub.

Since ayoko ng ma stress ang mothers namin sa preps, we made sure na kami lang ang hahandle during the entire preps. We started to give our measurements SEPTEMBER 2016 and kahit nakauwi na kami ng 4th week of October, yung first fitting namin took place after na ng Undas.

Grrr talaga! Sobrang sablay talaga. But sabi ko nga, we let it pass. I will not let it ruin our most awaited day talaga.

My mom used a rented gown, then my 2 FGs pinagawan namin sa malapit na kapit bahay, buti ay tumanggap pa kahit sobrang short notice, and my Junior Bridesmaid used a RTW gown na binili nalang namin sa SM.

ENTOURAGE OUTFITS MALE & FEMALE ? Individual Expense 
10/10 : Divisoria and Public Market in Bulacan Finds

I super loved our entourage outfits. Lahat ng suot nila shoulder nila ang expense as a gift for us. They are our closest friends, and sobrang nagpapasalamat kami sakanila kasi we had them. They willingly shouldered everything kahit nung umpisa palang na sinabi namin na gusto namin silang maging abay, and if willing sila to shoulder the expense, gift nalang nila samin.

For the Female, they wore White Boho Dress from 168 Mall 450 each, but we bought it at P400 kasi 6 pcs ang binili namin. Yung light peach na shawl is P200 lang, so overall P600 lang yung expense nila sa outfit nila. Bumili rin sila ng same design ng brooch, and earrings. I just bought their flower crowns. Magagamit pa nila yung dress not just for wedding, and that?s what one of my reasons why hindi na kami nag abala magpatahi ng mahal na gown. Para magamit pa nila sa ibang event or lakad since sila ang mag sshoulder ng expense. I won?t let them buy a very expensive dress na isang beses lang nila masusuot. Nakakatuwa kasi we allotted 1 day para magsama sama silang lahat at yun yung time na nag Divi kami, nagka bonding na kami before the wedding.

Super Duper value for money para sa mga budget brides like me! hehe!  :P
For the Male naman, local shop lang sa Bulacan they bought white long sleeves worth P200++ and Khaki Pants na worth P300++ super value for money talaga kasi alam namin after our wedding, maisusuot pa nila yun sa ibang formal events na mapupuntahan nila. We just provided khaki suspenders and Mint green bow ties para uniform sila.

I loved their color combination para sa adult ento namin na touches of mint green and light peach lang.

So nice to read your feedback kdramaholic and ANJfinally. although parang wala tayong common suppliers. Hehe i'm so happy that your wedding turned to be a success. Anyway, If you can send photo of your bridal robe mga sis?

OTD COORDINATOR WITH HOSTING ? P12,000 + P1500 Biscuit Bar
6/10 : Absolutely Knot Events

We got a win-win package from AK Events last 2015. 9K for OTD with hosting + 3K OOTF to tagaytay. Then few months before the wedding, we just added biscuit bar.

When they were starting marami silang positive feedback talaga, kaya that was one of the reasons why we booked them. Until such time na nagkaron ng sunod sunod na issues sakanila ng nega feedback, still we kept our trust with them na magiging okay ang wedding namin.

During meetings, we really appreciate Ms. Kim?s effort to be with us. To think na buntis pa sya nun. We had a meeting with Father Allen in Caleruega last NOV 7 and kaylangan magsama ng coordinator, so Ms. Kim and Mr. Al sinamahan kami sa meeting, but we paid naman P700 gas fee besides gabi na yung meeting namin nun 5PM inabot ata kami ng past 7PM sa Caleruega.
1 week before the wedding, we had a final meeting pa in Trinoma and kakapanganak lang nun ni Ms. Kim, akala namin hindi sya makakasama kasi thru text sinabi nya ng si Sir Al lang ang makakasama namin, pero along the way she informed us na sasama daw sya, so we?re both shocked kasi nga kakapanganak lang nya. We really appreciate the effort kasi hands-on sobra samin.

They really done so much naman for our wedding despite of the lapses. Like yung bubble and smoke machine sa Bridal march ko, wala sa contract yun but they?ve done it for us. Yung ni-request ko kung pwede I drop nila sa Soto grande yung mannequin day before our wedding, kasi ay event naman sila ng Tagaytay that time, naibigay din nila. Pili lang kasi we filled it up very well all the OTD worksheet kasi para maging maayos ang lahat. Naappreciate naman namin yun talaga.

They?re just on time, pagdating nila trabaho agad nakita ko naman yun. Si Ms. Kim as head coordinator, nagpunta sa preps to check everything, then to the venue and church, then balik na sa venue after everything.

I gave them 6 based sa mga lapses na nangyari sa wedding namin na alam namin nagkulang sa coordination. And dahil dun, hindi ko talaga na feel yung Bridal March ko which is one of the most important part for us, we've waited for this day to come and we planned this for almost two years, pero bumagsak ang spirit ko talaga dun pa sa bago ako mag walk down the aisle. :(

As a bridal assistant talagang laging naka support. Halos nahihiya na nga ako minsan kasi todo alalay sya sakin, lahat meron syang naka ready. Tissue, water, etc.

Sayang kasi counted sila sa breakfast meals and we provided meals for them, sadly hindi nila nakuha yung para sakanila.

But as a part of the coordinating team, dun sya nagkulang based on my observation.

Wala akong kahit isang shot with my female ento during preps. Nakakalungkot. Hehe!

Ang sakin lang, if unang check nakita nyang hindi pa pala ready, sana man lang sinabihan nya na double time baka sakaling nagmadali sila sa pag bibihis at pag-aayos. That?s one of their jobs right? Na ma-follow ang timeline. Example if ang timeline is by 9:00 AM : shoot with the female ento, sana man lang naremind yung female ento ko na may shoot para aware sila.

Why did I say so? One of the worst things that could happen in a wedding, maiwan ang whole female ento. Yes, naiwan 5 out of 6 female ento, 1 is my siste MOH na nakasakay sa bridal car ko. Lahat sila naiwan sa preps house.

I am not blaming AK here ng buo, alam ko may lapses sa side ng female ento. Miscommunication.

If as early as that, na trace na agad ng mga nasa church na wala pa yung female ento sa simbahan, if it was properly coordinated by my Bridal Assistant (nag-iisang coord member na naiwan sa preps house) sana nagawan agad ng paraan.

What happened was, paglabas namin ng house, isang female ento nalang nakita ko which is y best friend. Yung girls, they just stayed inside the room, waiting ng magsusundo, kaya hindi namin sila napansin.

I am worried nab aka mapagalitan na kami kasi late kami makapag start, and worried ako with my girls kasi I so love them tapos hindi sila makaka March. As what I mentioned earlier, ayokong masayang yung effort nila for our wedding, they shouldered everything tapos hindi sila makakasama sa procession.

But I know, hindi sila talaga aabot kasi it will take 25 mins one way of travel from caler to soto and another 25 mins going back to church. I can?t even smile, I had pictures inside bridal car pero pinipilit nalang ako ni Serg to regain my spirit.

I?ve seen here really disappointed and kinakausap nya ako to smile kasi pipiliting ihabol.

It really affects my bridal march. As in, ZERO emotion ako. Feeling ko nga konting kibot winoworry ko. Kapag mabigat yung veil ko feeling ko mahahatak at matatanggal sa lakas ng hangin, yung gown ko feeling ko laging sasabit or what. Basta parang disoriented nako. Parang ayoko pang umakyat, pumasok at mag march. And he said ?ano ba nangyari? It?s okay.
During procession, syempre since last tayong papasok, napanood ko lang yung nagyari sa procession sa raw videos, and may mga lapses parin sila as a coord there.

I DIYed our ring box, treasure chest sya, but then yung ring bearer namin, naglakad ng nakasara ang chest, at parang nagbitbit lang ng balde. Wala man lang nag instruct na dapat naka open yun. Hays nakaka sad talaga.

Tsk tsk talaga. Tapos since yung brother ko nasa right ko, ayun pumunta sya sa right side sa may upuan naman ng mama at lola ni hub, tinuruan lang sya ng mama ni hub na ?dun kayo sa kabilang side.? Nakakainis talaga. Thanks to them.

Dahil late kami, domino effect late narin kami sa reception. We have to omit some parts of the program kasi nga para makakain na guests. Yung ibang trivia games, binago na yung mabilis na way nalang ng trivia games like question and answer nalang.

Yung first dance namin as a couple, sobrang iksi nalang din.

I don?t know what happened. Nakakalungkot talaga promise! We ordered it online pa kahit nasa Dubai pa kami, tapos wala rin palang mangyayari. We better not have any kind of guestbook.

Hayyyyy! Nakakalungkot na nag effort ka and that?s our simple way of thanking them kahit hindi namin sila nakilala ng personal or nakasama ng mahabng oras, pero hindi nakarating sakanila yung gift, syempre nakakalungkot.

When I asked Ms. Kim about it, hindi nya ako inassist and she did not even helped me to settle things. Kami dalawa ng isang ento member ang umupo dun sa table plus my hub then we discussed. Syempre that time, lutang ako hindi ko pa alam, wala ako sa katinuan. Pero hindi ko talaga makakalimutan yung inabot sakin ng bestfriend ko yung folder, I went straight to Ms. Kim sa registration then I asked her ?Ano po ito?? And then she just answered me with a body language yung tinaas lang yung 2 balikat na parang kung ita-translate mo into words ay ?ewan ko? then naisip ko, okay I have to settle it on my own. To think na one of their scopes is to handle contracts of suppliers, pero hindi nya ako inassist. Nakakalungkot lang.

May mga turn overs din kulang, yes nag sign ako dun sa paper na pina sign nila, pero syempre right after hindi agad maiisip ng couple yun kung may kulang or wala. hehe! Like yung mga twinning green tea boxes that we provided for hot beverage. Favorite ko pa naman yun! Hahahaha! Alam ko naman walang gaanong nag te-tea sa guests namin, I am thinking maiuuwi namin yung mga teas, but sadly not. Out of 100 tea bags (4 boxes) 1 box lang yung laman ng plastic na nauwi namin and less than 10 pcs lang ang laman.I just don?t know san napunta yung mga teas, pero yung isang buong plastic na binalik nila samin na may mga packed sugars, creamers, at coffee tanging yung 3 sealed boxes ng twinning green tea mint yung wala sa loob ng plastic bag, eh magkakasama naman naming na turn over yun sa preps house.

Overall, yung wedding namin sablay talaga at parang mairaos nalang. It just so happened na sobrang happy kami kay father allen, binigyan kami ng magandang weather, and nag stay ang guests kaya sobrang happy na kami ni hub. Let Go and Let God talaga para ma regain yung happiness. :)

HOSTING
9.5/10 : Ms. Kimberly Punzalan

For me, she?s a real good host. She has a very good english accent din, kaya no regret on getting her.

***
Yung failures na nagyari sa wedding namin, it doesn?t mean na mag fa-fail din sila in their future couples. I tried to be as organized as I can, lahat ng turn over ko may labels and instructions, but still lapses happened. Our wedding might not be perfect, but our guests loved our wedding so much lalo na si Father Allen. They can?t really moved on, few weeks after may nag me-message parin samin. Hindi nila alam madaming sablay, pero syempre they?ll not go down into the details eh, pero tayo even the smallest one mapapansin kaya alam nating may mga sablay.

If only we could turn back the time, para maitama at maiayos ang lahat, but we can?t. We just think that our lives will not stop on the wedding day itself, our marriage is much more important after all and that is the rest of our days after the wedding.

We just let it go and let God, kaya sabi nila hindi naman daw kami mukang na stress. Hahaha!  :)
I hope my reviews can help our future wawies here. Salamat sa pagbabasa and happy preps!

Thank you so much my Girltalk, 2015-2016, Tagaytay Caleruega Brides, w@w family, and Mimma!!! God bless everyone!!!  ♥

thank you sobra sis kdramaholic and sis gem! hehe! Sobrang madaming sablay yung wedding namin, pero naging motto ko na that day yung Let Go and Let God. But nalang talaga at si Father Allen ang OP namin, kasi nawala lahat ng stress ko before I walk down the aisle.

It's been a month and a half na, pero yung araw na yun gusto parin naming balik-balikan.

Sabi nalang namin, our lives will not stop on the wedding day itself, it's more on about our lives after the wedding as a married couple and our Marriage.

sis gem : I did not use bridal robe, maliit kasi akong babae. haha! I used a lace kimono then pinatong ko sa mini dress :)

ANJFinally, Okay sis! Sa Jan 22 pa yung first fitting. And I've read negative review din dun sa pinagtahian ko. May problema sa communication kasi not responsive sa messages and follow ups yung mananahi. Sabi ko naman last na yung 22. Di na pwede ires-sched (2x na nya kasi ni-resched).
With regards sa wedding gown ko mismo, sa 1st week of Feb ko pa makikita at mafifit.

re sa outfit, yes sis i follow up nyo ng maaga-aga, nako samin pilitan nalang talaga yun. Grabe no? November 15 nya parin nahatid.

HMUA: Michael Celestino
Rate: 3/10
Sobrang nastress ako sa kanya during our wedding and until now hindi pa rin ako makamove on sa sablay na ginawa nya sa wedding ko. Late na nakapag start magmakeup dahil late dumating ang team nya, minadali na tuloy ang pictures ko with entourage and family sa hotel kasi malelate na sa church. Distracted kasi lagi may kausap sa cellphone nya while doing the makeup. Nawala sa church nung need nya magretouch, yun pala kumain sa labas. In the end, oily ang mukha ko at tanggal ang eyelashes sa pictures. Worst decision ko na sya kinuha ko.

^sad to hear that sis. Parang now ko lang narinig yung name nya. During the time na minemake-up'an ka sis sana sinabi mo na lang na magfocus muna sya at wag panay cellphone.

Supplier review 3mos after the wedding
We got married October 28, 2016

Part 1
Ceremony: Shrine of Jesus, Ph28k weekday, Ph30k weekend
9/10
One of the strictest Church confirmed! but we love them because we booked them more than 2years ago. Our wedding was cancelled and move due to my fiancee's sickness I'm super happy they allowed us to use our dp. Sabi ko if they won't agree we'll get a cheap church nalang. But God is good:)

Prepare an ounce of patience while dealing with Ms Secretary :)

Preps: Conrad Manila
we were so lucky to be upgraded a terrace suite from the our orig 2 BR ambassador suite.
we never had any problems with the amount of people going inside our suite, bringing crew meals. Super happy I booked them earlier. Our view from our terrace was gorg!
perfect bay setting with the bonus of the city/ ferris wheel. Super duper nice photo setting

Vikings Venue 10/10
my fave supplier to date!  I think no other venue can match Vikings Venue affordability not sacrificing class!:)
We are able to use the bay side for our cocktails, waived cocktail food corkage, crew meal, etc
My AE was super nice and approve almost all request we had.

Food-- need I say more? everyone enjoyed our wedding the vikings way.
which is what exactly we wanted.

Photo Air Balloon Project
9/10 All photos captured were super nice and its what exactly the style we wanted: relaxed,
candid, sunny and bright.
All 3 photogs assigned to us were super good as well

Video: 24 frames 9/10
we didnt have budget for big names but i'm just super pleased and satisfied with their work.
very easy to talk to as well. super recommended
Yun lang they ask songs what to use which for me limits the creativity eh hindi ako ma-song na tao haha! anyway still i recommend them

Bridal Gown: Claiza Bihasa
6/10
they never got my measurement right---  i had to change the silhouette because the first one
Claiza sketched wasnt right for me.
up until few days before the wedding my adjustment pa rin.

Que horror on the day of the wedding, only 1 wedding assistant came to dress me!
it's so hard to dress pag 1 tao lang. whats more disappointing hindi maganda yung pagkatahi sa back ng dress which looked really sloppy! so wedding assistant sewn that minor alteration.
thinking back I could have gotten a cheaper gown like Mark Brides/ Bridehouse

But still I got raves and ohhs and ahhs :) I still love my gown but wish I could research and chose a more better supplier

Entourage dress by Paolo Blanco
5/10
one of the palpak supplier also. super nice mag sketch even his FB photos looks nice so thats why we chose him in faireness I got a fairly good deal.
I think hindi siya sanay how to make lace dress. almost all entourage had flaws in their gown: wrong measurement, poor stitches, wrong length! my mother in law sewn appliques of her gown days before the wedding. nakkahiya!

I love Paolo but I wish he could've monitor his staff work. Is it because we paid this little?

6/10 gowns had issue imagine that.

different story for ninang gowns and mother of the bride gowns which were all flawless and executed perfectly!

Part 2 to follow pag sinipag ako :)
Teena Barretto events
Metro Tech Projector
Contemporary Florals
etc etc :)

I didn't know na palpak pala si Claiza kasi she has a nice portfolio.. Kakasad and yung kay Paolo Blanco as well.. But I'm glad maganda pa din naman dress mo and walang naging issue pagdating sa attitude nila. :)

Cesar was also my stylist and will also post a separate review.. For me, isa siya sa pinaka the best na supplier ko. Really, really happy sa lahat ng ginawa niya for our wedding kahit na first time niya gawin yung mga yun. :)

Part 2 of review:
These are the suppliers worthy of our time for review.

PHotoman Photostation
I posted on the earlier onset of the wedding preps that I didn?t like photobooths.
Its so passe, I don?t like guests queuing up, wedding reception tends to get empty kasi during the queue.
On the last minute, we impulse booked the Photoman not expecting so much, just additional documentation. Bonus na yung printouts.
On the day, they were sucha a trooper and would follow us whenever we go. They follow my (main) photogs na I always thought they were part of the team lol!
The photogs assigned with us was good! It feels like I have a backup photographer.. I super recommend them.

Cocktails: SLammin Burger/ Pilipinas Serve Drinks
We also booked these 2 suppliers last minute. We had an issue with Vikings not serving anything during cocktails?eh bat pa kami may cocktail hour kung nga nga lang ang guests. Grateful with Vikings that they waived all the corkage charges for these. We were able to maximize the bayview side of Moa while guests sip on Pilipinas Serve drinks . They serve good drinks at all ha! We chose: Virgin brewed iced tea, Grape Cooler, Mango fizz and all guests drinks were empty! Meaning masarap talga.
With Slammin burger, we love their burgers rin because its real beef and feels like no extender loL!
We got a fairly good deal of 150 burgers. Not all guests got their burgers because they will feel busog/full if they do. Actually drinks pa lang solve na sila  we spent roughly 20k for cocktails but seeing the guests enjoy and had fun super sulit na.

Wedding Cake by:Mary Grace

This supplier I cannot forget! and I super admire them for seriously taking customer service to a whole level!

I got a text from the bake designer on our reception night, she was profusely apologizing because she overlooked our wedding color theme. for me I didn't notice that nga because I had a gorgeous 3 layer nude cake. What really made me a bit disappointed was our wedding cake falling at early onset of the program! So we had to cake cut and distribute the 1st 2 layers before it finally collapse.

You know I didn't demand for anything but Miann Dimacali, I think the daughter of Mary Grace offered to refund the FULL COST of the cake. What do you call that? I honestly cannot think what best words to give them. I appreciate the work, labor and craftsmanship and refunding is too much. So I told them just keep the service charge, transpo. But still they refunded everything!!
every single centavo I paid.

No wonder, Mary Grace is blessed with so much branches because of it topnotch and sincere customer service.

We got a chocolate truffle ganache and as expected, very moist yummy chocolate goodness.
We kept the bottom layers to ourselves and lasted us 2 wks? this is the best cake for us: having a gorgeous cake and eating it too! Kaya I hate fondant! haha!
