^ nakita ko nga rin yung kay mimi sis, kaso dry skin siya so feeling ko okay talaga sa kanya. mas kapareho ko ata si chinkytita kasi oily-combination ako, tapos pareho pa kami ng wet n wild photofocus shade so ayun. i'm debating kung fit me vs the ordinary ang kukunin ko.

I have dry and flaky skin, so I personally didn't like The Ordinary's serum foundation -- it sinks to my pores and seems to accentuate them. I prefer the coverage foundation. I am just not yet sure of the staying power.

It's a cheap foundation, so I guess I shouldn't criticize it so much.

anyone know a good foundation na naturally flawless yung effect? Like kutis koreana? :D But fragrance-free (or super minimal natural foundation scent) and holds up well in humid weather?

Most Korean BB creams I've tried may amoy grr doesn't have to be korean though... :D

Hit or Miss ang Estee Lauder Double Wear sa akin. Upon first application okay siya super flawless pero yung nose and near mouth areas nag ccrack siya. bakit kaya? kahit mag moisturizer or primer ako. I tried applying it using Real Techniques sponge, with fingers, with brush etc.
I usually don't wear primer or moisturizer kapag mag mmakeup ako, i don't know why pero ayaw kumapit ng makeup sakin if i put something before foundie or mag bubuo-buo siya. take note i already tried the waiting method etc.

Kapag nasswertehan ko, my best application method so far for ELDW is to start off by applying my favorite BB cream and i won't blend it too much just spread it on my entire face with my fingers then apply the ELDW with RT sponge, avoiding the mouth and side of the nose area. Kapag kasi nag settle na yung ELDW, hindi pa naman super dry pero parang nagiging sticky siya kaya super careful pag apply ng blushes and powder. Basta ayaw na niya pagalaw once nag settle na siya. This is the best method for me and it lasts me a whole day under super hot sunny day full of slightly physical activities such as tons of walking and playing around with kids.

Pero swertihan lang.  :'( There are days na ayaw niya talaga magpagamit that i have to redo my entire makeup. I have combination skin. not really problematic may dry areas lang sa mouth and nose part, with veins showing on some areas kasi manipis ang skin ko but thats it. no pimple and such. Pang special ocassion ko lang talaga to. I have to prep my skin the night before. Todo exfoliate at moisturize for it to work the next day.

Currently in love with Dior Diorskin Forever Perfect Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 35. My husband found my shade sa Nagoya Duty Free (Creme 11) which is laging out of stock pag hinahanap ko sa mga duty free. This is an Asia exclusive shade and it matches me perfectly. Love the finish of this foundation and it has nice oil control din.

Not exactly foundation, it's CC cream but the coverage is at par with foundie, with additional benefits of spf 50+ and some anti-ageing serum daw :)  and I only need very little since it's really blendable.

for me estee lauder double wear ang fave ko. dati fan ako ng nearly naked ng revlon. okay din yun saken, pero eldw is better lalo na pag plakado talaga kelangan. I have combi skin. super ako magpawis at mabilis mahaggard itsura pero maingat din ako sa foundi kase andame ko ring flaky skin sa cheek area. estee double wear stayed in place at hindi cakey tignan saken. at hindi sya nagooxidize saken. shade match ko tawny. I was about to buy rattan para one shade lighter para sa oxidation buti oos si rarttan kase maganda naman pala si tawny since kung [textspeak!] itsura nya pagapply sya parin itsura nya after 10 hrs. ilang beses ko tong tinest before ko binili. dalawa kame ng friend ko na bumili and di kame nagsisi. nagmessage pa sya saken sa tuwa nya sa eldw. stayed on my skin for more than 10 hrs at fresh parin tgnan kahit di ako nagblot. becca first light ginamet kong primer. tapos beauty blender. one pump lang for my whole face and neck. panget lang wala syang pump buti sumakto yung pump ng maxfactor ko sa kanya. mukang eto na magiging hg ko. muntik ko pa mabili yung sensai foundi kase nung tinest saken ng SA sa paris gallery yung sensai at eldw nagcake si eldw. so nagsensai foundi ako kaso pinapalit ko kinabukasan sa eldw. nung ako na naglagay saken okay naman at di cakey. minsan may mga SA na parang di marunong maglagay. super dame kaya ang tendency magcake talaga kaya much better kung magdala kayo ng sponge/brush nyo at kayo magapply at magblend.

Ang dami ko na nabasa pero hindi pa rin ako makadecide between L'Oreal Infallibale 24 hr matte liquid and Maybelline Fit me.

Currently using Maybelline Dream velvet and maganda naman sya kaso di sya compatible sa oil control cream ko kaya will switch to liquid.

Currently loving Sephora Teint Infusion. sobrang light lang saka ang ganda ng coverage. Though I heard discontinued na daw yun? Kaya siguro nag sale sila. Nabili ko lang yun ng under P200 sa Sephora Outlet. Sayang dapat pala dinamihan ko na yung bili.

Hi mga sis. Been on hiatus for a while and just backread. Sa mga nakatry ng YSL all hours, how was it? Natry ko lang on my hands and it seems nagssettle sya on fine lines but i still want to try.

Want to Power Fabric as well. Though I?m also thinking if I should go back to GA Lasting silk nalang, kaso medyo mabilis kasi humulas. Though I?m looking for a more casual alternative naman to ELDW since i just use ELDW nalang for days na i know i need a durable foundie.

I bought Maybelline Fit Me. My God, how long has it been since I used Maybelline? Early 2000s? My early college days for sure.

I was looking for a light foundation for everyday use and I've been reading raves about Maybelline. My foundation for the last 4 years is Revlon Colorstay, which is great but not exactly the lightest formula on your face.

I enjoy using Fit Me because I like light to medium coverage for everyday use. My gripe, however, is that it oxidizes a lot if I don't use primer. With Colorstay, I don't use a primer but it does not oxidize (or maybe it does but not much). With Maybelline, it can turn orange on your face if you don't prime and blot when you get oily. For only, what, 299 pesos (on sale?), I think the extra step of using a primer is worth it.

Question for Estee Lauder Double Wear users,
iba po ba ang formulation ng ELDW locally? kasi I bought mine last October  sa mismong Estee Lauder shop (SM North) I asked for the lightest shade at 1c2 Petal ang pinaka lightest nila.

Its an okay match naman but I think I can go for something lighter kasi super puti ko so if i wear anything na makikita ang chest area masyadong mapapansin na mas maputi ang body kesa sa face. Another thing is that wala akong makitang shade na 1c2 Petal online... Si thataylaa (the youtuber) ang usual na ka-shade ko but not the same skin type. cool bone ata yung kanya and wala daw nun sa atin sabi ng SA. is that true?

Anyway I'm still in a love-hate relationship with this foundie. But I'm determine to make it work.
I'm also interested sa Bobbi Brown Serum something foundation. I'm a fan of foundies/bb cream that has flawless finish but still look like skin.

Hi sis! I love the YSL All Hours - hindi kasi siya super matte. Long wearing and maganda yung coverage talaga. Medyo natanga lang ako sa pagpili ng shade. I bought BD25 ata na slightly maitim sa akin ng konti. Nung nagpa shade match ako sa HK, BD20 pala dapat.

Nice din si Power Fabric - natural looking kasi siya sa skin. matte, but not super gaya ni marc Jacobs at Kat Von D.

Hi, not sure if this is the right thread, but I'll try my luck, I am looking for the "healthiest", or lightest, skin friendly, with natural or organic ingredients BB cream/Foundation that does not sacrifice good coverage sana, not naman full coverage pero can cover maski yung normal flush ng skin man lang.

I'm leaning towards light make up, less products sana, also transitioned to Korean skincare din. Looking into cushions na.

Thanks in advance.  :)

Hindi ko natiis, bought the Tarte Shape Tape Foundation despite all the negativity surrounding the product dahil sa limited shades and halos wala for women of color. Fave ko kasi yung Tarte Shape concealer kaya naiintriga talaga ako sa foundation version. Bought the matte one. Pinag iisipan ko pa kung kukuha din ako nung hydrating.

Hi sis wednesdai! Nice to see you here again! Thanks for the tip (kahit late reply hehe). Buti nalang I haven't bought pa. I was thinking pa naman to buy B10, though I can also always get a shade match, but that would have been too light for me. If I remember correctly, we're the same shade sa Nars (Deauville) so I am probably a BD20 as well.
I think I'll get the YSL All Hours for my casual weekend foundie.

I recently discovered Rimmel Stay Matte which has similar consistency with GA Face Fabric - my previous everyday foundie HG but now discontinued. I think I'll use this for now habang di pa ko nakakakita kasing ganda ng GA Face Fabric :(
