Hi to all!

Been trying to conceive for almost 2 years. I'm suffering from PCOS while my husband has low sperm count due to bilateral varicoceles. Two Ob-gyne suggested for him to undergo surgery but we decided to try tradtional Chinese medicine instead found in Binondo, Manila (Huai Ren Drug Store- it's only the name of the establishment but there's also a Chinese doctor treating patients). For 12 days, uminom ako ng lagang herbs tiis lang talaga sis sa amoy at lasa). Si hubby, sa pag-inom ng separate na prescribed Chinese herbs sa first 20 days, from 0.5 miilon sperm count to 10.6 million and improved motility. Another 20 days with renewed prescription (gradual kasi ang effect ng Chinese meds, pero walang side effects at kung kulang pa yung unang effect, may adjustment sa susunod na prescription) plus Vitamins from the store also, plus add'l regular Vits C, E at 1/2 pill ng Clomid for 25 days, we finally got pregnant!

Sana makatulong po ito sa mga naghahanap ng alternative. Mahal kasi ang surgery. Sana may matulungan pa sa post na ito.

pero to answer your question na rin: siyempre, iexplain mo sa kanya that you underwent tests and sayo e normal. so now is his turn. and ioffer mo na sasamahan mo siya pag nagtest siya.

Fast forward last year ko lang nalaman I have PCos tried Ovamit for 3 cycles didnt work I stopped nagpalit ng doctor looked for a specialist she prescribe letrozole kaso late na ako nakapg pacheckup sa kanya Day 6 na so i took Letrozole Day 6 to 10 I had follicle monitoring ng day 15 ang liliit nila my largest was around 10mm lang the rest 7mm . Losing hope with this follicle ang liit nila baka next cycle ulit na naman. I read kasi na dapat day 3 to 7 ang intake nito. Parang feeling ko nasayang lang itong cycle na ito. Any thoughts? Tia

Hi GTalkers. My husband and I are TTC. wala namang problema sa akin when I went for my regular check up with my ob/gyne. But because of my age, 38, I want to cover all bases para makabuo kami agad. Is anyone doing temping, opk and cm self-test here? This is my first time charting kaya medyo hindi pa ako marunong magbasa. If there is, when do you start any of these tests? right after matapos mens or do I have to wait for few days? when you get your LH surge ba, can you consider is as ovulation day? Then can you start counting your DPO from that day?

Hi sis!! I did fertility awareness (temping, charting). I also did opk test at dahil dun, I'm now 9 weeks pregnant! For me, sobrang nakahelp ang bbt at charting. Pwede mo mapinpoint dun kung may problem ka na dapat i-address. I started charting/temping day 1 of menstruation. Yun din kasi ang day 1 ng cycle. Btw, I used Fertility Friend app para magchart. You can download it. As per opks, once nag positive na (meaning magkasing color yung 2 lines), after 12-36 hours pa ang ovulation. In my case, after my first positive opk, after 2-3 days ang ovulation ko as confirmed by basal body temp.

^thank you sis. I downloaded Premom since I?m using easy@home opks. But I?ll check Fertility Friend din and see kung ano mas madali. How do you do your temping? Manual ba?  Nahihirapan ako sabayan yung oras kasi minsan mas maaga ako nagigising sa alarm by one hour o di kaya nagigising ako early morning to pee or drink water. Kaso sabi diba at least 4 hrs of uninterrupted sleep? Kaya di ko alam kung accurate yung mga nakukuha ko lol!

Sis, ideally same time everyday ang pagkuha ng temp. I temp orally using a BBT thermometer. Sometimes struggle ko din yung mas maaga nagigising nung nagstart ako pero ginagawa ko, natutulog ako ulit then magigising na lang sa alarm. During days na gusto ko naman mag oversleep gigising lang ako para magtake ng temperature then I sleep again. After ilang days, nakasanayan ko na din. Yes, dapat atleast 4 hours na uninterrupted sleep. Though dati may once every week ako na putol na sleep because I travel, parang hindi naman significant yung deviation from the normal temp ko.

^thank you sis. After using FF, andami ko natutunan and found out premom might not be accurate. I found out when my ovulation was and now I?m 9DPO. I?m hoping I can wait until 14DPO to test but I don?t think I can so maybe I?ll try to hold off until this weekend (11-12dpo).

I have a friend who has PCOS and she tried the Progessence Phyto Plus essential oils, it worked for her. I am also using it now, sana makabuo kami agad, it helps in supporting hormonal balance. I have a 2 year old toddler pero it took us almost a year din bago nagconceive so hopefully this time, it will be sooner.
