Hello Ladies...

Hubby and I are trying to conceive. First time. Can you give advice, tips, health concern etc... I'm turning 34. And haven't seen any OB at all :s

Hi sis. I'm from the 1st Qtr of 2017 baby thread. First baby ko and about to pop soon. I'm not an expert pero so far what we did ni hubby is mag exert ng effort talaga. Irreg kase ako. We used ovulation test kit. And I dunno, but for us quality over quantity of contact works. How long have you been trying to conceive? Seeking medical advice would also help a lot siguro kung may concerns or issues sa health.

Just had d&c procedure done to remove multiple polyps and other masses. Fertile window this week so BD every other day!

Anyone here na nabuntis agad after maraspa? Sabi kasi nila mas mabilis daw mabuntis after ng raspa kasi malinis daw sa loob.

Naubos ko na yung 1 pack ko ng pills and wala pang advise kung ano gagawin next so I'm just continuing to take the vitamin E (once a day) and yung malunggay capsules with folic acid (2x a day)...

I'm 33 by the way but on the heavy side, so this year na talaga ang year of change dapat hehe. Eyes on the prize, focus kay baby lang talaga hehe!

Diagnosed with PCOS last  year.

Tried clomiphene last cycle but failed. Dra. asked me to try letrozole for the next cycle pero di pa dumadating hanggang ngayon si AF. CD 45 na ko now. All pregnancy tests are negative. I will go back to my doctor on Saturday para macheck agad. Ayoko rin kasi uminom ng mga pampalabas ng AF kasi baka preggy ako di lang lumalabas sa PT. Possible kaya yun?

Hi mga sis! Ive been silent reader sa thread na TTC. Yesterday AF came and its my second failed IUI hayyy ang hirap talaga ng situation naten mga sis pero keep on fighting lang i know ibibigay din ni god yan saten. By the way do you have any idea kung san pwedeng mag pa antisperm antibodies? And how much it cost. Thanks sis baby dust saten lahat😊

Sis pa recommend nadin ng mga supplements na pedeng makatulong para sa TTC na kagaya ko and ibang mga sisses naten na still TTC. Thank you and godbless

Hi sis chubbynezz! Mukhang sabay tayo ng cycle. Nag second iui din kami and 2ww is supposedly kahapon. Pero last month Dec 10 ako nagkaroon. Pakiramdam ko magkakaroon na ako eh, plus tested last night ang got bfn 😞. Haist.

Im glad merong ganitong mga threads parin. Girltalk was my starting point 6yrs ago when i was searching where to go for ivf, on endometrios, etc.
My tubes had hydrosalpinx so my oby had to clip them during my laparoscopy, 6yrs ago.  So the only way to get preggy was thru ivf.  I chose taichung, which was coinsidentallt was recommended too by my oby.  As ivf here was very expensive then, and low success and hndi ko feel sa Victory.  I got preggy in that 1st ivf, thanks to by Oby here who prepared me prior going to taichung and she also took care of my rough pregnancy here (apas, bedrest, gdm, hemmorage).  I have now 5yrs old lovely daughter.  we went back to taichung last nov2016 for fet. Now im preggy again! Thanks ulit sa oby ko who prepared me prior going again to taichung (polypectomy to remove my polyps and GNRH med pra lumiit ang endometriosis) and nag-open ng clinic dec26 para maka check ako for pregtest, it was a stormy day after dec25.
I always pray everyday, and follow the meds. Thank God for this 2nd pregnancy.  I pray this will be smoother one!

^yes sis. Dalwa ang sikat na ivf center sa taiwan: 1 in taipei (capital), 1 in taichung (province, 2hrs fr taipei).  Coincidentally, the key doctors are also named Dr. LEE on each of those 2 hospitals, which i think are not relatives.  I chose in taichung kasi mas maraming dun nagpunta (or mas maraming sisses na may feedback here sa girltalk), 6yrs ago. Last nov2016 dun kami ulit pumunta kasi andun ang frozen embryos namin. 😊
This despite na nag-a-ivf na ang OB RE ko here sa Pinas, sa Taichung parin kami pumunta.

For IVF, the best is still taichung Taiwan. Its cheaper compared to doing it here. When it comes to IUI, chambahan talaga accordinh to our doctor. Minsan first try success agad. She was telling me like her 3 clients in a row success sa IUI. One of them is 40 na. Its all about the timing daw.

Hello all. Silent reader for a very long time but on TTC once again.

Varicocelectomy ni hubby ngaun and we're happy we're finally doing the procedure na. Im on med naman because of my thyroid hormonal imbalance (new case sa akin) aside from me being PCOS. Can't wait na mabigyan na din ako clomid ng OB ko. Happy TTC to all.

sis Chili1113, go for iui nalang muna. it worked for me. may sperm issues pa hubby ko. it's not so expensive naman na masasayangan ka ng money if it fails. we spent around 70k for one cycle. btw, i was 28 y/0 and hubby was 31 when we did it with Dr. Eileen Manalo.

^Thanks for replying damonsgirl! WOW!!!! 70k for one cycle of IUI with Dr, Manalo? I LOVE her but I find her procedures so expensive. But really she is one of the best talaga I heard. But she told me before 25k for IUI plus meds pa.

Sis, I read your post before about your successful IUI with Dr. Manalo. Ang galing kasi she didn't push through with the 1st collected sample when the count was too low. I heard with other doctors they still push through with it even if the sample doesn't have a good count. Feeling ko yung talaga ang waste of time and money. Good call talaga si Dr. Manalo with having you collect a 2nd sample for that day.

Sige sis, I will try maybe 1 IUI. Although with Manalo before she said we can try up to 3x IUI daw. I just wish I was younger talaga! Sobrang baba ng success rate for both IUI and IVF for 40 and up. =(

^Thanks sis Chili, ininject din nya both samples sa akin. Bale 2 iui fees ang chinarge nya sakin for one day kasi konti nga the first collection. So in total naka 10,550,000 sperm kami that day . 25k talaga yung charge nya pero may portion dun na sa CARMI of St. Lukes mo ibabayad around 3,600 for the sperm washing then yung 6k naman of that is sa Crinone suppositories that you take home after your iui to be used for 15 days. So bale nasa 15k lang talaga yung charge nya. Medyo nag balloon lang yung sakin dahil 2 iui's nga and andyan na din ang meds and injections. Try mo na sis. Ako nga akala ko it won't work but it did Baby dust to you!

^Wow sis thank you for sharing the details of IUI costs in CARMI. Very good info. Kaya pala mahal sayo sis because you had 2 IUIs in one day. But still, it was a good thing Dr. Manalo insisted on that because you got your BFP!!! =) =) You're so lucky you didn't need to go through IVF which is more expensive.  Sana ganyan din kami! Thanks for all the tips and advice.

Wow sis damonsgirl! Ang galing! Napapaisip na tuloy ako mag switch to Dra Manalo nalang. Sis ano problem ng sperm ni hubby mo? Mine kasi mataas yung percentage ng abnormal sperm tapos ako naman may PCOS and endo.

@princess20 having abnormal sperm should not be a problem. The trick is to increase the sperm count and motility. 2% lang normal sperm ko so what our ob did was to increase the other sperm factors. Was worried din before but she told me not to worry about it. That was 2 years ago and our baby boy is now almost 2 and another baby on the way. Fyi im 47 and wife is turning 40 this year. Lucky for us kasi our OB really took the time out to explain everything. Good luck.
