Our families and us decided to have the civil wedding this year. I'm just wondering meron po ba ditong nakapag civil wedding na sa supreme court?

Pwede ba malaman papano kayo nag hanap ng judge saka nag set ng schedule?

>> I was able to answer my own query by doing my own research, and posting it for my fellow bride-to be's who are looking for the same info. Here are the facts to keep in mind:

1. Its true that supreme court justices officiate civil weddings for free. You just have to pay more or less P350 sa Supreme Court En Banc for the Solemnization fee.

2. It is true na mahirap makahanap ng justice sa SC na pwedeng magkasal sa inyo. You have to know someone there, or someone who can refer you to them. Otherwise, they will not entertain you. Unfortunately, they only officiate civil weddings for the couples that they personally know, or who were referred to them by someone they personally know. Hindi masamang subukan magtanong for you to see for yourself.

3. Pwede mag kasal ang Supreme Court justices outside the courtroom. It is according to their discretion, and sa mapag uusapan nila ng couple.

4. Justices from the Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, Court of Tax Appeals and Sandiganbayan can officiate civil weddings anywhere in the country. Meanwhile MTC and RTC judges can only officiate civil weddings which were under their jurisdiction.

Sept 2018 bride here!

Just booked SJJ 2pm?Sana talaga payagan kami magpersonal messages in the church. 
Super crazy papa once you start planning!! hahaha So far, we've booked the church and videographer palang. Choosing between two hotels for the reception.

Could you guys recommend photographers that do really nice onsite avp? Sana yung marunong mag cinemagraphs. My choice kasi right now is Miyo Okamoto but I kinda want more dynamism sa video output niya. Hehe

@kccllj, @jclaramae, wow I checked out the videos of paradox and I like the style nga! thanks for the suggestion. 60k na pala sila ngayon, I just inquired. Plus 5k OOT fee for tagaytay (doon kasi kami). And that's for SDE, Film, and aerial na lang, not inclusive of growing up/prenup anymore. Still reasonable, though on the higher mid-range na haha. Do they join mga bridal fairs, or give discounts kaya?

Sa ngayon hanap hanap ako ng otd coordinator. Events Embassy and Absolutely Knots pa lang pinagpipilian ko na pasok sa budget and responsive kasi sila yung iba seenzoned ako

HMUA nahihirapan ako maghanap waaah!

August 2018 pa ko.. chill pa din. research pa.. pero may mga naka shortlist na para sa bawat suppliers super budget lang kami, kaya mangongopya ako ng suppliers ng friends/family ko na nag budget wedding din at positive feedback sa suppliers nila

Hi sis nixfesti naku hayaan mo ang mga sinasabi ng iba hindi naman sila ang ikakasal hahaha mas maaga mas better para mabook mo na rin yung mga peg mong suppliers and mas mas makakamura ka. Kasi pag medyo late ka na nagbook, like less than a year before your wed, magtataas na sila ng price. Happy preps! tee hee!

True, tama yang strategy mo, better na same supplier ka na with your friends/family na may first hand experience with them at least you can ask for their feedback diba
