Hi!
I just got engaged last week!

We don't have a final date yet but we're thinking February 2018 sa probinsiya.

We're thinking of getting Jaja Samaniego for photography and Vania Romoff naman for the bridal gown. What do you guys think? Any tips?

Ganda at galing ng mga gusto mong suppliers! My tip is to book them na kasi your wedding date ay peak season sa wedding industry and also be prepared sa OTF

Actually, nagtanong na ako kay Jaja. S far free naman siya sa tentative date. kailangan ko lang muna ma-finalize date kasi ipapa-feng shui pa kasi ng parents ko hehe! Si Vania naman, nagset-up na kami ng appointment pero wala na siyang available date sa April; sa May na kami magkikita.

May mga suggestions ba kayo for videographer?

Hi mga sis! Just signed up. Planning to get married on Sep/Oct 2018. Actually civilly married na kami and 5th year anniversary na namin next year kaya gusto na sana namin sa church.

Planned budget is around 400k, kaso after doing my research parang kulang pala. Hehe. Overseas based kasi kami kaya wala na ako masyado idea sa mga prices dyan sa Pilipinas. Ito yung mga preferences ko so far:

Church - Caleruega or somewhere in Manila or Antipolo (kaso booked na yung preferred date ko sa Caleruega)
Reception - I am so in love with Fernwood kaso mukhang mahal

Still looking at other possible venues.
Photographer - Ruffa & Mike Photography looks nice, pero di ko pa nacheck how much. Still exploring other options

Wala pa akong masyadong naresearch na iba. Church and reception muna siguro priority ko.

Pero priority ko talaga good photos and videos kasi I had bad experiences before sa civil wedding and 1st birthday ng daughter ko.

Please give me tips mga sis! Thank you.

Welcome to GT, sis Madamlyr! Overseas bride here, too! Saan ka based,sis? 😊 Intimate wedding ba ang gusto mo or more than 100 guests? Basta remember lang na if destination wedding, may additional fee pa yon.
56k-108k yung last quote saken ng Ruffa & Mike nung nag-inquire ako sa kanila 2 months ago.

^ Thanks sis! UAE based ako. Nameet ko kahapon sila Ruffa & Mike, Proud rad, Nice Print, Blufish dito sa Dubai Bridal Fair and parang leaning towards Ruffa & Mike pa rin ako.

But I'll check the others pa rin. Now we have two options - it's either wedding in Tagaytay for 150 guests max or wedding in Italy with 10 guests lang. Haha mas gusto ni hubby yung Italy. We will bring our parents na lang doon but we might still get a Philippine-based P/V. Ewan ko nga naguguluhan pa rin ako. Haha

He'll be in the UAE again by August this year. Kakagaling lang nila dito sa Doha last week and were done na with our prenup.

so far,

Church = chapel on the hill or caleruega kung Tagaytay; San Agustin or San Sebastian kung Manila. mag occular kami ni hubster dito in June (Manila) and August (Tagaytay). kung di ka pa nakapag ocular or wala ka pang plan this year to do the ocular, i'll send you pics ng Tagaytay.

Reception = hubster and I are listing options muna - Rosemont Garden and Two Gardens na both Tagaytay dahil kasi sa price (again, budgetarian!) and yung nakuha naming rates is from Town's Delight na may all inclusive packages. Not sure about Manila yet.

Photographer = a married friend actually advised us na mag invest sa P/V and ito talaga ang gusto kong gastusan (plus food and gown). So far, nasa list namin is Polk Studios, though di ko alam exact rates kasi the owner is my best friend's barkada so regalo ng best friend ko na daw to sakin. you can check their work sa facebook, just search for Polk Studios. for pre-nup, a friend is doing this for us for free.

Hi Girls! I really need your insights here.

Target date of our wedding kasi ay March 24, 2018, unang una kaming nagbook ng church, then venue for reception and Photo and Videos, then kanina tinawagan ako ng Christ the King (our booked church) na kung okay lang daw ba na sa wedding namin ay nakatakip ang mga santo ng violet cloth, kasi March 25 (the day after) Palm Sunday na so in preparation na for holy week, sabi pa nung Church Coordinator, lahat daw ng church nakatakip na ang mga santo kahit hindi pa talaga holy week. Nakakalungkot lang kasi nabook na namin yung ibang suppliers and hindi naman sinabi samin kaagad yun.

Ano kayang magandang gawin mga sisses? yung March 24 kasi is very significant sa amin ni H2B.. may alam ba kayo na church na pwede? or lahat ba talaga ng church ganon? yung reception kasi namin will be at Glass Garden so perfect sana yung sa Christ the King kasi malapit sya.

2019 bride here. Sorry if dito muna ko makikisali. No thread pa kasi for 2019 brides. Feeling ko tuloy too early ako to prepare. 😆 Meron ba dito 2018 St. James the Great bride? May I ask saan reception venue nyo? Medyo challenging kasi ang paghahanap ng venue near St. James. Though I already got a full coordinator, I wanna help her with your suggestions. TIA!

Hi Luna_lulu I think by that time lahat ng church nakatakip na yung mga santo. Yun din yung sinabi sakin ng church when I was selecting our wedding date. Maybe you can change the color of the cloth like white para hindi sobrang kita/halata or same color with your motif if pwede. Another thing na sinuggest sakin before nung church is change the date na lang and patapusin ko na lang yung holy week.

Same tayo sis pina fengshui din kaya umabot kami ng 2018. Puro weekdays ang 2017. Tapos yung date ko na January eh nag iisang date na lumabas na Saturday. Hehe. Next nun is April na😂 Pero ok lang kasi atleast mahaba ang preps although not sure maganda ba yung araw kasi lagi kaming tinatanong kung maganda ba daw yung date ko kasi anh daming nag iinquire sa recep place namin.
