^Sis okay na okay lang yan. Kami nga ganyan din 10 to 15 minutes from my parents. Then 20 to 30 minutes naman from bahay ng husband ko. Kami laging present.

Minsan walang choice so you end up living with in-laws na it's a given. May advantage and disadvantage and it may or may not work depending on the personalities of the people involved.

We've been living with my in-laws ever since. We all generally get along. Hubby is an only son and we don't have kids so it's impractical for us to separate esp now that my MIL has passed away. I feel I get along better with my in-laws than hubby does because he generally doesn't say much to them. I have more conversations with them than he does.

A good friend of mine also lives with her in-laws and has it a bit worse with some meddling from MIL and invasion of privacy but on the flipside of that, she and her hubby can go on dates, come home  late from work, meet with their own friends freely when needed because both in-laws will be there with the kids overseeing the yaya and maid.

But if I had a magic wand, my ideal situation would be 2 connecting lots or houses side by side. I just want a small house, my very own tiny kingdom.  :D I would never consider living away from my in-laws. Both my parents and his mom already passed so I want hubby to treasure his dad more even if they do clash sometimes.

We never lived with my in-laws, and i prefer it that way. Pag magbabakasyon lang kami. We live abroad kasi eversince.
Dun ko nakitang nagseryoso at natututong tumayo as padre de pamilya si hubby nung nakabukod kami. Lol

Being on our own made our relationship stronger and us more mature. (^-^)

Never. I want our own house.

Nasubukan ko na rin manirahan with my inlaws, for about a year din. Hehe

isang malaking no, kahit na mangupahan ako sa isang maliit na room for rent pero di ako titira kasama nila...kahit kasi sabihin na maayos ang relationship with the inlaws ay iba pa din un may sarili kayong mundo ng asawa mo...kasi bumubuo nga kayo ng family na sarili...

No. We?re not yet married but living in already, One night pa lang nag ssleepover ang future in laws medyo napapataas na kilay ko kay MIL. She rearranged the furnitures without my consent, my fiancee just told me na aayusin yung mga gamit nung ginagawa na ng mom nya. To be clear, maayos naman ako sa bahay i just dont know why she did that.

So for me, non negotiable to.

Nope. Same as sis sassy_gal18, not married yet but living together. BF and I already had a talk abt it and both naman kami nag-agree na di kami sasama sa kahit kaninong in-law. Kahit kasi sila mag-ina e di magkasundo pag nasa iisang bahay.

In my case naclear ko na rin to agad kay fiance in a malumanay and mahabang usapan, broken fam ako so sa side ko no worries dahil may sarisarili nang fam yung parents ko

At first i could feel sa tono nya na gusto nya dalin here sa manila parents nya when I asked him about pano pag nagkababy kame?

Stay in ba ang yaya or uwian?

Deep inside I was like, ahmmm so pano na yung hobby ng mama mo mangialam?

Good thing nauna nabuntis yung future SIL. Yun na pagkakaabalahan nila.

No matter how mabait your in laws are, may masasabi at masasabi yan. Remember, familiarity breeds contempt.

no, I have good relationship with my inlaws but living with them no. kahit our house will be renovated we would really rent na lang muna until our house construction is completed rather than staying with my in laws.

Sis superbratinella, that's exactly what hubby and I did in 2017 when our house was renovated, we rented our own apartment rather than live with either of our parents...kasi mahirap may kasamang in-laws sa bahay....mangingialam at mangigialam yan lalo na sa mga anak nyo

Tried living with my IL before and 1 year after marriage I didn't like it. Nakakarindi kasi yung pagsigaw sigaw ni MIL even just talking plus ayoko ng inuutusan akong to do stuff like cleaning, doing our laundry and others. May schedule ako to do stuff at di ako sanay ng sigawan ng sigawan sa bahay.

My dad lives with me and hubby.. so far wala naman reklamo si hubby kasi magkaugali sila ng Dad ko hehe ang nakikita ko lang na nega is my Dad always ask him what's for break, lunch or dinner? kahit kakakain lang..  ;D

I live with my in laws for 6 years now and my advice for newly married couples, NO! Lalo na if you have kids, di mo mapipigilan mangilam sila sa inyo. Honestly, feeling ko I am suffering mentally kasi we live with them. I've told my husband a lot of times pero parang he doesn't take me seriously. Sa totoo lang, there are days when all I want to do is eat, tulala kasi I'm getting depressed.

Nope. Though we're in good terms, i made it clear to my husband kahit malapit tumira ayoko. I grew up without a father so hindi ako sanay sa father figure of [textspeak!] na mas opinionated pa kay MIL.

No way. ;D I'm OC and I like doing things a certain way. 'Pag umuuwi nga kami sa bahay ng parents ko nang matagal (like more than 4 days) meron na kami hindi napagkakasunduan ng mom ko, how much more my MIL. ;D

In a castle there could only be one queen, so each queen should have their own palace to rule.

Currently, we are living with my in-laws. Kaya I suggest not to.

Next school year, we plan na bumalik na sa house namin kasi sabi ng asawa ko dagdag intindihin niya pa yung nakikitira kami kasi nga di ako makakilos. haha. 4 years old by that time ang anak namin, kayang kaya na siya alagaan nung yaya niya.

I'm excited!
