My rule when meeting suppliers both with work and preparing for my wedding: If I'm the one who asked for a meeting, especially outside of their office, I pay for their food and drinks.

^30-min to 1 hour sis. kasi pag ibobook nyo na sila, magdidiscuss na rin kayo on the terms of the contract, etc. Siguro prepare na lang for food and drinks. Pag coffeeshop yung meeting place ninyo, coffee and pastries will do

same here sis, not sure lang kung anong food.

If coffee shop, usually if treat ng Client hindi na choosy si supplier. Kung ano binigay ni Client ok naman sa kanila. Pwde din naman pagdating nila ask them if ano gusto nila then saka na lang mag-order.

Pag-resto naman, if ano food namin, yun na din food nila. Dishes to share na lang yung inoorder namin para hindi masyado maraming leftovers.

I remember when we met up with our chosen coordinator (hindi pa kami booked with them), pagdating niya I let him order pero diet daw siya kasi daw lagi na lang daw sila kumakain sa events so ang dami lagi niya nakakain kaya ayaw niya kumain. Lol! Nag-order na lang ako ng spinaci zola for us to share (kasi favorite ko yun) then nag-order na lang siya ng drink but we also offered yung pizza na inorder namin. Hindi ko lang maalala if kumuha siya but the spinaci zola nagustahan niya (first time niya matikman daw). 1.5 hours din kami nun sa dami ng questions ko, haha! May printout talaga ako ng questions. I booked them the next day.

When doing meetings, I prefer places/resto na hindi crowded and tahimik para maka-focus ako/kami. Hirap din kasi if maingay yung place (like fastfood) kasi hirap magkaintindihan and ayaw ko ng may nage-eavesdrop sa usapan namin. Hehe! 😊😋

^Sa amin naman baligtad ang nangyari, when I met with our coordinator siya pa yung gustong ilibre kami, nagiinsist na kami to pay pero ayaw nya..

Awww ang bait naman niya. Usually if ganyan ang supplier sa akin, I give a gift sa next meeting namin (usually food).

Hi mga sis! Until now wala pa rin kaming florist. Possible ba na 6-8k budget for chapel flowers? Yung mga tinanong ko kasi usually nasa 12-20k eh. Nanghihinayang naman ako since chapel yung samin then 8 pews lang. Any suggestion? Thanks!

Tska mas ok ba kung iba pa supplier mo sa Video or better na isa lang for Photo and Video?

Fear ko baka magkaiba approach nila and hindi magmatch vibe nung pictures and video.

^Maybe you can give your florist your budget and let her work around it. Also, you may want to try this florist, Ann and the Flowershop in Marikina. I just read about her here.

You can ask Lowell of 7ten5 events sis. Yung tita niya may flower shop sa dangwa.
Nung nagpaquote ako sa church namin 9k ang quote niya. Sa OLLP kami.

Sis same tayo ng problem. Wala pa din aking florist for church. Grabeh magpresyo yung mga suppliers sa kalapit na city namin, 50k for church only!! Tas plus OOT fee pa, transpo and accom. OVERRRPRICING!!! MAS MAHAL PA SA MANILA STYLIST! Nakakainis. Haaist!

^Sana nga makahanap na tayo sis. Priority ko kasi yung church more than the reception. Dun kasi sa amin, usually yung decor sa church dinadala lang din dun sa reception venue. hehe. Naiiyak ako sa quotes sa akin, eh Aster and local roses lang naman ang flowers ko tapos low arrangements lang. haaai

^Goodluck sis! Kami naman, yung church namin, mas maganda pag minimal lang yung flowers. Tska gusto ko simple set-up. Wala pa ko nakikita na classy and elegant. Mostly sa nagugustuhan ko, along Metro Manila. So may OOT charge pa sa min.
