Di ko type yun may mga bisita and all.

^Same tayo sis mas gusto ko din magtravel.

Count me in! I hate everything about party planning. No gowns, flowers, no nothing. I had about 30 guests. I prefer going on a staycation. Hehe. To celebrate or not to celebrate?

Yung anak ko, 5 years old na ata nagkaroon ng party and it's a very minimalist bday party talaga. Yung iba halos buong barrio invited sa party...LOL! Pero yung celebrant di naman nya maa-appreciate ang party especially at a very young age. When my son turned 12, he invited the boys in his class for a laser tag game. Pizza at juice lang ang food. However, wala ako sa Pilipinas so that works. Iba kasi sa atin eh, kelangan bongga lahat...LOL! But you can definitely make it a trend.

^Agree sis na hindi pa ma-appreciate or maalala man lang ng bata yung pangyayari nung 1st bday niya. Mas masaya kasi kapag ma-appreciate na ng celebrant yung party and if makasali na siya sa activities or games.

Haha. uu nga mga sis, naaasar nga ako bakit ba need mag party for a 1 year old baby. Kaso nappressure ako sa in laws and parents ko, gusto pag partyhin si baby. What I'm doing now is planning for a pool party nalang. No games, just food at yung entertainment na eh yung swimming mismo. Haha.

I'm turning 34 this May 4 and I am not planning to do any sort of celebration at all. I am just planning to go to church and stay home all day. Reason behind it is I have had celebrated my previous birthdays in a ''loud'' way, so I'd rather keep it simple this time.

Kain sa labas lang with the family. Not really a celebration per se where maginvite mga bisita.

Not that I don't really celebrate my birthday. It's just that nasasayangan ako sa handa. I mean, it is my birthday so I should make myself happy--yan lagi reasoning ko.

So everytime it's my birthday, my mom magpapadala ng money panghanda ko but I never buy food. I go out on shopping and splurging myself.

Na-experience ko lang maghanda talaga when I sartted working.

But most of the time pag sa house hindi ako naghahanda. Parang ordinary day for me lang.

Ang thinking ko kasi is that it's my special day. I should make myself happy this particular day and what makes me happy is hindi yung magpainom mg ibang tao kaya I slpurge on shopping instead.

Ang awkward lang for me. Basta may cake ako pwede na.  ;D

To each their own, of course. Though I find it funny when people feel the need to say, gorge themselves at a lavish buffet or play the popular star for a day on their birthdays. Like it's overcompensation for knowing that you're another year closer to your death. Lol

Kaloka dito di ba? In the US, it is considered rude to throw your own bday party!
