Wedding Color Motif

I don't think it's necessary naman to pick two colors lang; I personally prefer a palette of maybe four or five colors as long as they work together. Minsan masakit din kasi sa mata yung lahat na lang is the same two colors. And if you like a color na hindi necessarily babagay sa skintone ng bridesmaids you can use it as accent color na lang.

One useful tip I got from a photog friend is to consider the venue din. I probably wouldn't have thought of it had he not pointed it out, pero the wedding colors kasi come into play din sa styling nung venue and if it clashes with the existing infrastructure (like yung color ng walls and carpet) it can make the whole thing less cohesive.

Maliit lang venue namin sis, sa Villa Ibarra kasi kami sa tagaytay.
Hindi na kami kumuha ng stylist sa venue, yung sa inhouse caterer nalang.
Bale mga flowers lang siguro yung design. Ang tinatanong nga nila is kung ano yung motif. Eh wala pa ko maisip.

I've attended a wedding yung colors na ginamit nila ay different shades of seafoam Ang ganda! Tapos rustic theme Or since pink yung gusto mo pwede din different shades of pink with a touch of earth tones

I agree na mahirap tong part na to. Months din before kami nag settle. First, modern contemporary choice namin because of our house. So beige and earth tones sana. But my PIL disagree with it. They want rainbow daw para colorful. Pero ayaw ni h2b since it celebrates pride daw.

So we opted for rose gold and silver. Mothers prefer lavender so hinayaan nalang namin sila.

Mukhang okay nga din ang rose quartz. Yun din theme nung friend ko.

I think kasi important yung contrast para mag stand out yung colors. So something soft(blush), something bold (marsala) and some bling (rose gold). I've requested lots of foliage din to make the colors stand out.

Nung una hindi din namin alam yung final color motif na babagay sa wedding namin, kaya pinili namin yun kulay na favorite namin, we go for light grey, blush pink, rose gold and touch of red

Hi sis! Maganda yung emerald green pero baka yun yung mangibabaw na color since way darker siya than blush. I think seafoam is okay with blush! 😊

^I agree mas maganda kung palette yung colors, choose two complimentary colors that you like then pick out colors in between them. We went with a combination of our favorite colors, mine is purple and his fave is green naman. Our  exact color motifs are deep purple, lavender, green and fern. When I checked pins of this wedding color motif on Pinterest, marami ako nakita and maganda naman combination. Our is a garden wedding overlooking Taal, by the way.

That's nice to know sis @meixin! Choosing the color motif is one thing but choosing the "theme" is another story though! Haha. Ano theme mo sis?

^We just chose to go traditional, our parents are chinese na traditional e, baka makarinig kami ng matindi.  So we just chose to keep it simple para less sakit sa ulo

^True. Simplicity is beauty sabi nga nila hehe. I don't wanna go overboard with the styling either especially if my limit sa budget haha. I guess the details of how I want everything to actually look will come to me..

Ours is blush pink and gold! More like Classic Romantic.

Ours is Blush Pink, Coral, and Gold. Initially I wanted Blush + Coral for bridesmaids, pero nung nagawa na yung gowns nila, I showed it to my MOH and she said it looks Blush + Peach with minimal color difference at first look. Ok lang kaya to mga sis? Babaguhin ko na lang ba yung motif or ipaulit ko ang gawa?

Ours was moss green and chocolate brown, rustic ang theme.
