Hi need your expert advice for our September Europe trip. All first time sa Europe.

Point of Entry - Paris
Exit - Amsterdam

Day 1 to 4 - Paris
Day 5 to 9 Germany
Day 10 to 14 - Italy
Day 14 to 16 - Amsterdam
Day 17 - pauwi na ng manila

Posible po ba itong itinerary namin? Or masyadong malayo sa isat isa? Pwede pa ba namin isingit ang Switzerland? Madaanan po ba yun? Or kung meron po kayong massa suggest na itinerary for 16days. All train lang ang travel namin gusto din kasi namin mag sight seeing..

Seems like most of us will travel between September or October. I'll be travelling solo and will be meeting up with my cousin either Italy or Paris. Anyone here who will travel solo also then we can meet up there.

^aleng_maganda parang jampacked yun tour mo. There's a lot of cities to visit in Italy alone. Which cities do you plan to go to in Italy and Germany?

I might join the Expat Explore Europe Escape tour in late September to early October. It's going to be a 12-day tour, 6 countries. Iniisip ko magkano dapat ang pocket money na dadalhin. Any tips sisses? Thank you!

sis sophistique, nakakainggit naman ang 25 days nyo.  sa sobrang daming puntahan, kelangan lang namin pumili ng pwede sa 11 days. isipin na lang namin na pwede naman bumalik anytime.

Pag mga tour groups talaga most often than not jampacked ang iti. So if you have the energy and don't mind being rushed to see a place, then that would work for you. Plus di hassle ang preparation and logistics kasi everything's prepared for you. Then there are also tour groups that cater to small or even private groups where you are given the luxury of time to visit the place but expect to shell out a lot of moolah for these kind of tours.

For those who are patient and don't mind a bit of planning, then DIY your tour. Personally, I prefer organizing and preparing my own itinerary. Tyagaan lang talaga as it sometimes takes a lot of your time doing research. Some of my ITs years in the making kasi inu-unti ko then if I have a firm trip na that's when I finalize it.

Right now I'm deciding what itinerary to use for next year when I celebrate my golden year. I already have a few itineraries I've been preparing the last couple of years. Finalize ko na lang once I know where to go.

Yes madaming places kasali kasi parang coach tour siya. 6 or 7 countries pala siya. The countries include:  UK (London- although I will skip this and fly directly to Paris), France (Paris), Switzerland (Jungfraujoch), Italy (Florence, Tuscany, Pisa, Rome, Venice), Germany (Munich, Rhine Valley), Netherlands (Amsterdam), Belgium (Bruges), then back to London or Paris.

Tama si @mama squeak, if you have the luxury of time and a lot of patience, it's better to DIY your trip. I might travel alone kasi hindi pa sure ang friend ko, but we both paid the 10% deposit fee. All I'm after is to have a look at these countries before I turn 30 hehe, then saka ko na lang sila isa-isahin

I will be going to Nuremberg and Regensburg in Germany this March 20th and will be staying only for 10 days for work. I am planning to spend one weekend (saturday, March 25) in Munich for a day tour.

Any suggestions of must see places in Munich? Ok ba yung hop on/off bus? Hindi ko naman goal na mapuntahan lahat, kahit yung mga must see lang kasi ayaw ko rin yung super pagod dahil i i will travel back to Regensburg.

anyone planning to go by June?? need pa ba magdala ng coat or light sweater for temp 16 - 28?

^If 16degC carry na ang mga jacket type sa pinas and cardigans pero it depends sa tolerance mo sa lamig. Pwede din trench coat pero yun manipis lang not the wool type.

^^depends where you're going and your tolerance to cold. I was in Europe, specifically in Amsterdam, Paris and the south of France last June and it was starting to get warm. Most of the time we were in Manila weather clothes (sleeveless and sandals). Early mornings and late evenings it was a little cool so pwede na light jacket or coat.

how about the weather late September to October? Need na ba ng knee length boots?

^Maulan! I traveled 1st week of October to Germany last year. I packed light with my lightweight thermal jacket and Stan Smiths. Don't forget to bring gloves, scarf and beanie. I started collecting umbrellas (or fans) from each cities I visit, so I end up using those too.

^^^I had a chance to visit Paris mid July. Not sure if there's a big difference on weather between June and July. But at that time mixed ang temperature. There were times when it rained hard then once it stopped, it feels humid. But I didn't have a need to wear heavy jacket. Cardigan was fine even at night. My outfits were mostly summer dresses and sandals.

^sis, in my case, the following are what we brought for the Schengen application to Germany (this covers other EU countries to visit maski sa Germany nag-apply):
- Schengen Application form
- Passport photo
- Flight information (only the flight of origin to EU 1st destination (no in betweens necessary to show))
- Travel Health Insurance
- Visa fee
- Passport and photocopy
- ID and photocopy
- 3 mos. bank account stmt
- Hotel bookings (all cities to visit; I recommend to book 'refundable' ones or to be paid at the hotel or book the hotel with your credit card that can insure you that whatever happens to your trips, they can refund you for that; so yeah. it's worth to insure your trip)
- Support letters (for a family member ie. parents or adult children who do not have financial stmts that will support their trip)

Mukhang ok naman itinerary niyo. You can cover Berlin in a day. Try niyo rin mag-visit ng surrounding cities sa Berlin like Hamburg or even Prague.

Day 9 to 13- Paris
Day 14- Amsterdam
Day 15- Prague
Day 16 to 17- Switzerland
Day 18 to 22- Italy

 We still have 3 days to spend, saan kaya pwede maisingit? In some of the places, we'll fly instead of taking the train. Thank you so much.

^sis, how are you planning to travel between Amsterdam, Prague and Switzerland? Fly? Perhaps you can spend driving down to Italy from Switzerland, exploring Milan, Venice, Cinque Terre, Florence/Pisa then Rome.
