^ay ganon, naku yung middle pa naman pina reserve ko, iniisip ko kasi yung top bunk, kaso lagi akong na ccr e, haha..ayoko naman sa bottom, parang ang sikip kasi... pero petite naman ako, so I guess carry na din?

^ok na din yung middle bunk sis basta wag lang yung lowest bunk kasi masikip sya. Yung lowest bunk kasi yung "roof" nya andun yung headrests nung seats when they are upright, am not sure if you can dismantle the headrests but we were unsuccessful with that kaya yung nasa lowest bunk may may naka obstruct na headrests so masikip & hassle talaga how many in your party will be occupying the couchette? Maganda kung madami kayo, parang camping lang pero kung may strangers kayo na kasama, again its a little awkward but after awhile you get used to it  haha your luggage will also be placed inside the car, under the seats or on racks above, so just remember to get everything you need for the ride before the train ride starts para hindi ka na mahirapan. And for security, make sure all your valuables, cash and passport are on your person during the ride esp if travelling with strangers btw passports will be collected by the thello attendant as your ride commences & will be returned to you by the border police later on. enjoy your trip!

yeah, nakita ko nga yung headrest on the bottom bunk, that's why I didn't chose it.
Well, I might be the stranger on a family or group occupying that 5 couchette, LOL

anyway, my backpack will not fit ba in the bunk? worry ko baka galawin yung bag ko sa rack.. or lock ko na lang? hehe

for valuables, I just have a belt bag, so don ko na lang ilalagay siguro.

^lock your bag always. Better if you also have a bike chain where you can lock it to a pole or any of the bunk's leg. Problem mo rin with a 6-bunk couchette is kung maraming dala yung kasama mong passengers, lahat ng gamit nila sa loob ng couchette din nakalagay.

We've tried the 4-bunk couchette from Paris to Lourdes/Toulouse with a couple of our friends and the cabins are really small if all bunks taken with bags pa. Wala ka ng madadaanan and you'll be forced to step on the bags. What more sa 6-bunk couchette.

Oh by the way, you can request for an all-women couchette (if available) when you book your tickets so the train company can place you with other women passengers.

Hi sis kasya din naman yung backpack mo sa bunk pero yung nga lang syempre sisikip na. You can put your backpack by your feet or you can use it as your pillow din kasi they just give you one flat and tiny pillow. Pero as mama squeek suggested, ok din to clamp your bag to the rack para mas maluwag ka nagenjoy naman ako dun sa thello ride namin, considering the length of the ride, nakatulog ako ng mahimbing (better than in a long haul flight) so was ready for touring Paris when we arrived goodluck and enjoy sis!

thanks sis, buti nga nasabi nyo na may night train from Venice to Paris, malamang nagplane na ako. Well it will be faster to fly, but the arrival time kinda off..so ok na ok na yung night train, at least makakatulog before I tour the next day.

hi sis, those who have tried ryanair, is it true that you need to print your own boarding pass, or they will charge you 40euro for printouts?
and check in online is required in ryanair, same din na may charge, 40euro, then online it will be 5euro..medyo hassle lang ata kung nagtatravel ka and walang printer sa hostel or computer shop sa place...pwede naman sa mobile app yung boarding pass no?

We flew to athens from santorini with ryanair, I forgot to checkin online and they charged us 55euro. Ang sama ng loob ko nun, same price ng air ticket namin.

^Yup some budget airllines are like that, not just RyanAir. In my trip last month I think it was with WowAir. If I don't print out my boarding passes they will charge a whopping 70 Eur, if I remember correctly.

The good news is most hotels will willing print out your boarding passes for you for free. I've tried this before with no problem. I just forward it to the hotel's email and the front desk printed it for me.

^Check how early you can do online check in. I flew Wizzair before and I checked in like a month or two before my flight:) Basta the flight was at the tail end of my 1 month Eurotrip so I was still able to print my boarding pass at home.

^I agree. Some budget airlines like WowAir allow you to check in/print your boarding passes as soon as you purchase the ticket. Unfortunately some don't =( So do check.

just got back from my euro trip..
14days - 5 countries - 9 cities...amazing race, LOL

tiring, but it was all worth it ..  I want to go back..but I have to face the reality first, haha
total cost - less than 2,100cad or Php75,000

Unexpected happened, flight from Barcelona was delayed, I was not able to board on my connecting flight in Amsterdam..so my flight was rebooked the next day..I was stranded in Amsterdam ...KLM paid for the the full board hotel..

naka-score lang ako ng promo flight sa KLM, usual price kasi, nasa 1k+cad, pinakamababa na daw yun 800cad...but I found one which is 557cad

My itinerary was an amazing race, but I really enjoyed it..possible siya for solo traveller like me, and I just plotted all the tourist spots that I really want to visit..but it still depends on what type of traveller you are
