And, grabe sila magdemand ng sweldo. 25K lang nga starting pay ko sa first job ko (2010). Yung mga bago ngayon gusto 50K-60K agad. Wala pang work experience itong mga ito.

Hi Guys!

Just wondering how you handle millennials at work.  They do have a different mindset about a lot of things.  It's like you have to explain every little thing to get them to understand why rules and policies have to be implemented.  On the brighter side of things, they are computer savvy so it helps especially with the paradigm shift in our workplace, we need people who are open to change.  Anyway, how do you motivate them to do better at work and to be more professional?  How do you make them understand things like asking them to make incident reports, feeling ko once they see na close na kayo if you ask them to make one its like mamasamain nila.  Hindi naman puwedeng walang any sort of documentation if there is a complaint no matter how small it is right?

This is just timely. It is often hard to reinforce and redirect behavior of an employee, lalo na millenial. Balat sibuyas pa.
It takes time and when it comes to attitude, if I have tried every coaching style, performance base at numbers numbers na itu. By the book na next, pag di pa nadala sa pakikisama at matindihang feedback.
Pero exhaust all resources muna, patience is indeed a virtue.
Nagagamit ko pagiging nanay ko. I have an 8 year old who displays millenial characteristics.
Good people skills get them too.

I always had such a problem at work, and I was continuously fired because I couldn't work in such an atmosphere. This whole entourage suffocated me. I had a period in which I had a slight depression because I didn't know what to do with myself next. That's why I decided to go down a bit in the field and look for courier delivery jobs, and I can give more arguments. First of all, I will always be alone with my thoughts to understand what I need from life and the fact that I will choose how to deliver with bike or car so that I can succeed everywhere. What do you think?
