Hi fellow brides to be! Getting married at Shrine of Jesus in January, and i really want to hear some feedback about the choir? Kasama sila sa 30k na package and I was thinking kung ok naba yung choir or mag hire pa ng singer? Any thoughts? TIA!

Hi sis mgvaa hindi ko pa nga alam kung ano yung basic flower arrangement nila, kasi naman yung representative sa office ng church medyo suplada, mag start palang ako mag tanong about sa flowers, nag interrupt na sya and said call ko nalang daw yung florist, tapos sinubukan naman tumawag pero hinde naman sumasagot. HAHA. Ano ba yan.

Hi sis! Oh my! Pero you saw naman the pictures sa clear book nung basic flowers nila? Super onti lang right mga ilang pews lang okay try ko na din contact yung supplier nila na nasa business card.

^Hi sis! Yes grabe 10 pews lang pala ang included sa package. Will definetely upgrade the flowers kaso baka sa ibang supplier nalang, we have tried calling yung number ng supplier ng SOJ, and i even sent a message sa Fb, kaso deadma talaga. Nung napadaan ang Mom ko sa church, tinanong niya yung lady sa office and ang sinagot lang sakanya is "bakit pag kami ho ang tumatawag, nakakausap naman namin siya". Haha. Overseas kasi ako eh. TBH, nakaka turn off yung staff ng church nato. Last time na umuwe ako to talk to them, super tamad ang sagot lang "lahat yan nasa contract na", with matching taas kilay pa haha. I was asking kasi about the pre cena and all. Kaloka.

Actually may reputation nga sila na mataray (and strict!) sa office ng SOJ pero yung girl naman na kausap ko (Ina ata ang name nya) okay lang naman isang tanong isang sagot hahaha pero super nagpapaka-perky nalang ako whenever I talk to her. Sis anong day wedding mo? Ako kasi Sunday and worried ako malamang madaming usisero around hahaha. ✌️

sis mgvaa, ganyan na nga din ang ginagawa ko, kasi pag ang Mom ko ang pumunta she always gets frustrated, at nakapa transparent ng muka nya. HAHA. anyway, getting married on Jan 28, Saturday yun, siguro less risk sa mga usisero nga siguro. Natatawa ako sis, nung last bridal expo sa SMX nagpunta ang Mom ko and my Tita, kasi they help me with the preps, anyway, since hindi nga namin ma contact yung florist, and they saw someone setting up daw sa SOJ, my mom and tita super usisera mode, went to the church and talked sa mga nag seset up, so finally they had that clear idea kung ano ba ang included sa package, tapos sinulit na nila yung pagiging usisera that they stayed for the bridal march, they were sitting at the back daw, my Mom got teary eyed pa tapos the family sitting next to them was like "kilala niyo ba yung couple? kami kasi hindi" HAHA. this was on a Sunday. pero ay nako sis, I'm sure hinde mo na sila mapapansin on your big day, basta sana they won't ruin any of your photos!

Soj bride here. Agree medyo miss sungit si Ina i just try to be my unusually friendly me.
No choice eh haha!

Ako rin medyo issue ko ang flowers, i've yet to see their in house florist setup.
Sino ba ang in house nila?

Hi sis summer_princess! I forgot the name pero it's in the business card that they gave when you reserve. Left my wedding planning stuff in the office eh haha i'll message u again on Monday!

Anyway... saan ang hotel nyo for wedding preps? I booked at Conrad but I have yet to see the rooms. Baka next week pa ako magpa showroom sa guest relations nila.

hi mga sis! the house florist is Tina S. Berin Flowershop. mga 3 weeks namin siya sinusubukan tawagan sa number na nasa card nila na attached sa contract pero hindi sumasagot, then nag punta ang mom ko sa office and asked the office lady kung may iba bang number kasi hindi namin ma contact and she said "eh bakit kami natatawagan namin?" nako nakakaloka talaga. i messaged her FB page and after a month sumagot din. i think masyado mahal pag mag upgrade sakaniya so I'm getting a different supplier nalang.

Sis lakwatchera lapit na wedding mo!!! Hay nako i tried contacting her din --- i called the cubao branch, assistant lang ata nakausap ko at hindi nya alam ang packages nila then i called SOJ again sabi nung isang girl (hindi si Ina) all flower-related concerns kay Ms. Tina Berin daw dadaan. So even the kind of flowers that we put dapat daw iaapprove ni Ms. Tina (confirm mo nga to sis?) - she said pa bawal yung mga arch etc.

So i texted and vibered her dun sa cell number sa business card ni Ms. Tina and seenzoned ako. Hahaha!!! My gosh! Baka ang ending ko nito kung ano nalang kasamang flowers sa church kung ganyan siya kahirap hagilapin!!!

Hi sisses & fellow SoJ brides! Finally graduate na ako! I am just glad I am over everything na!

I plan to upgrade sana but realizing how strict SoJ is, ang daming bawal, we just had to let go.
And I wont be able to use the upgraded flowers rin naman so I really didnt bother calling their accredited
Florist. Yung florist pa na yan not so much review, tapos when you do not their accredited florist expect
they will give you a hard time approving your floral upgrade. So wag na lang for me!

The flower arrangement is well, so so, sakto lang. We were thinking, At the end of the day flowers lang yan whats important is the marriage
No regrets, glad didnt upgrade na. We got beautiful photos inspite of it

Most likely ganyan din ending ko haha. Ayoko na magpa stress sa mga taong hindi worth my time (chos! Hahaha!). What day ang wedding mo? Do you mind sharing some pictures of your wedding?

Hello Sissies, was an SOJ bride before, pero back in 2014 pa. yep, they are strict pero pangarap ko talaga ikasal dun dati pa bata pa ko, yun pa lang ang established place sa may MOA, nagvisita iglesia kami tapos sabi ko, dun ako ikakasal. haha. nag-out of topic ako.

the flowers were basic white pero i had our florist add up some flowers, pwede naman yun basta macoordinate sa office. sa choir naman. okay naman sila, but may friend kami na nagregalo ng singer for my bridal march tapos meron din kaming violinist nun. ayos lang naman din basta macoordinate sa church. mahigpit sila sa nag-phophoto/vid. may certain side lang kung san pwede magshot sa may altar. di ko na tanda kung left or right yung bawal. anyway, alam naman ng mga suppliers yun kasi they need to attend a seminar. nagkaprob ako sa suppliers kasi we had two video (gift lang yung isa) and there's only a number of persons allowed to cover.

yung priest din namin, dala namin, si Fr. Eric Santos, kasi Im a Feast-attendee. kilala naman siya dun so yung secretary na lang niya ang nagcoordinate sa church. may hinihingi kasi church pag di from them ang magofficiate ng wedding.

may P1000 fee din kami binayaran nun for electricity charge. pero walang bayad yung pag-open ng church door kagaya daw sa san agustin. basta may magbukas lang.

Its a friday wedding . I got a 20pc choir and a trio to sing for the church.

Yes agree on supoliers needing accreditation even coordinators.

Also 2 days before the wedding they called and needed us to check the marriage contract buti na lang relAx mode na ako nun.

About the flowers, I saw a wedding in the past na may arch, pero kahit pwede parang feeling ko ma obstruct lang yung view pag may ganun. Hehe. Kami naman, we are actually considering adding arrangement rose pastillas pero baka sa altar lang, baka hindi nadin namin dagdagan yung along sa aisle. Hehe. Kaylangan ko lang malaman kung ipag papa alam kopa kay Tina. Ay nako, i wonder kung pano ko kukunin ang attention nila para mag reply. Baka mag visit ako derecho sa shop niya. Hay
