kame sis we did not ask to waive the VAT or SC na.
medyo sulit na kase kame sa freebies they provided tsaka i think may times talaga they are some charges that they cannot waive depending on your venue, no. of guests or other freebies na availed na. kase syempre at the end of the day, they're still a business so they have to consider their revenue.
but of course, it doesn't hurt to ask naman and based na din sa experiences ng other brides here, they will really try to work around your budget within a reasonable range.

Sa 150pax na wedding package, i got the ff freebies - upgrade to dessert station and bridal car only. Parang kulang no? I'll haggle siguro during my detailing with my AE. May 2017 pa wedding ko, when ba usually nagfifinalize ng mga catering details, around 6mos before?

go lang sa haggling at baka nga may madagdag pa sila. mabuti na yung nagtanong kesa hindi.
we had our final ft and detailing mga 1 month before the wedding.. meron din iba na 2-3 months before. depende din sa availability ng couple at kung within peak months. 6 months would be quite early in my opinion and parang mas ok kase na mas malapit sa wedding date para mas fresh pa sa memory ni ae yung mga details.

sis peak months na yan. pag dec ang daming kinakasal at marami din jan na corporate & personal events. try oct-nov siguro and pa-schedule nyo ng weekday para less chances na may kasabay na event.

sis yung samin naman, since yung package ni events venue ang kinuha naming (incuded na the caterer), automatic na naka waive and SC and VAT unless manghihingi kame ng OR, saka lang daw sila mag aadd ng SC and VAT sa babayaran namin. maybe you can ask your venue if may ganyan sila and if naka package sila with M catering.

Stand alone kasi package namin with M, we opted to look for our own venue pero alam ko nga pag no OR pwede i-waive yang ganyan, i won't forget to mention this sa detailing ko with my AE.

ilang months before the wedding nyo binayarsn yung 50%?

sis, naka package ka ba with a venue? if yes, what I know is depende sa terms of payment ni venue yan. like for us, 1 year before the wedding 50% na yung paid sa package na kinuha namin kasi ang payment scheme ni venue is two months after DP, we have to pay 25% of total package value and another 25% ulet after 2 months.

Who availed of a stand alone package with M? May i know the payment terms? Our wedding date is May 2017, we booked May 2016 but we've only paid the 10k reservation so far. No info yet also from my AE sabi nya malayo pa daw kasi.

^ sis, your wedding isn't that far from now. 7 months nalang so I guess pwede mo na kulitin si AE kung nafinalize nyo na din naman yung magiging food and freebies na iaavail nyo. kahit estimate date lang I guess kaya naman nya ibigay sainyo yun.

Hi mga sis! Were you allowed to attend another FT (for free) after the initial FT upon booking? Sa office nila kami nag-FT and book, and very limited ang choices. Masarap naman but walang cream based dishes na na-serve so wala kaming final choice for chicken and fish. Was thinking to ask my AE if pwedeng mag-attend during their Grand FT para mas maraming options and para sa Final FT and detailing, yung mga napili na naming dishes ang ise-serve.

Dec 2017 pa naman ako, so iniisip ko next year na ko humirit ng FT ulit, baka may mga bagong dishes na sila

Actually ako din nagaask if pwede kame mag request ng 3rd FT. this time lahat din ng pinili namin yung ipapa sevre. as for the grand FT kasi na naattendan namin sakanila, hindi rin lahat ng nasa menu nila eh siniserve nila sis. Anong kinuha nyo na veggies sis if I may ask?

Yung 2nd FT was done in their office sis. Dun na din kasi yung initial detailing ng contract eh. request ka sa AE mo sis. December 2017 pa kasal naming pero inischedule naman kame agad ni AE for the 2nd FT para mabigyan nya ako agad ng initial draft ng contract.
