hihi malabo yun gusto ko mangyari no? ano kaya mas ok na lang? nalilito na kase ako.

anong month kayo nagpunta sis? more than 12k kase lagi nakikita ko. maybe because its christmas season.

^Sis, bitin 5 days if you plan to visit those places. USJ is in Osaka, Arashiyama is in Kyoto (an hour or so from Osaka), and Shibuya//Hachiko naman is in Tokyo (around 8-9 hours from Osaka via overnight bus, 3-4 hours I think if Shinkansen). Feasible siguro kung 5 full days na hindi kasama yung dates ng flights though medyo Amazing Race pa rin ang peg.

We booked our tickets with Jetstar, feeling ko kasi hindi ganun “ka-crowded” yung site pag may sales unlike Cebpac. Our MNL-KIX, NRT-MNL tickets only amounted to 7k/pax.

just thinking of going to Japan this November.. since base sa reviews madali lang kumuha ng visa =)
anyhoo nalilito pa ko since first timer, i'm thinking if Tokyo lang kami mag focus? madami dami din naman ba magagalaan sa tokyo or nearby tokyo?  plan ko is 5-6 days kami ni hubby for this trip.

with different interests. The city is comprised of areas and little neighbourhoods that have its own speciality.

^thanks sis ibyangbabe.. dami nga din nag sabi sakin na ok sa osaka/kyoto area specially autumn madami trees and more on "provincial" type.. gusto ko din yung tokyo kasi i think para siyang Seoul na busy at night and meron din magagalaan na near by sights (ex. Mt.fuji day trip, parks, etc..)
baka planohin ko is if ever 5 days osaka-kyoto then 5 days tokyo area para hindi haggard.. =)

hi! already booked accom, and airfare. also contemplating to get jrpass din. we are planning osaka-kyoto-narra-tokyo will be our departure.  sulit na the jr pass sa iti kaya namin?

kasya na kaya yung 50-60k pocket money for 2? expenses namin nalang will be food, entrance fees other trains and maybe a little to no shopping lol. it will be a 7 days trip pala.

How much ba yung budget talaga per day na hindi naman macdo lang kakainin namin of kfc? I want to devour japanese food talaga esp in osaka.

Sis if i were you mag kintetsu railpass ka nalang na valid for 5 days unli sa kansai area. Covered na ang osaka kyoto nara dun, 3,800 yen lang. Then one way shinkansen nalang to tokyo. Nasa 6k ang one way from osaka to tokyo ang jr pass kasi nasa 11k diba?

Sa food naman may mga mura. Nasa 500 yen up ang meals. Mahal din mcdo dun hahahaha. If I remember correctly nasa 60-80 pesos ata ang sundae hahaha. Un talaga basehan ko eh noh?

Kami ni hubby all in as in all ha 100k for 2 pax for 8 days. Osaka-kyoto-tokyo

may additional question pala ako, if we're going to tour osaka/kyoto/nara area, is it best to book accomodation in OSAKA? since magkakalapit lang naman ang kyoto and nara area? thanks

^ay cool hehe. I got cebpac mnl-kansai then jetstar naman narita-mnl sis madami ako nabasa na better daw to book sa osaka area na since train ride away lang yung kyoto and nara.

sis yung 100k na all in as in lahat na feeling ko ganon din budget ko kasi I book na airfare and accom for 7 days almost 30k na rin lahat e. so 60k na pocket money namin will do na you think? hehe. I am trying to stick to my budget kc. This is going to be my first time travelling na gusto ko ipush yung travel fund limit lang since before xmas ang trip nmin tee hee!

^Cheap and delicious - pre-made crustless triangle sandwiches from convenience stores like Tomod, Lawsons (their fried chicken is also good), 7 Eleven, etc. Sarap meryenda or breakfast.

sorry sis, part of my reply last night na hindi na post is for you.

yung 100k namin, 60k of that went to hotel,airfare,taxes,including yung osaka-tokyo roundtrip shinkansen tickets for 2. the rest pang gastos na namin. madami na din ako nabili and hindi kami nagtipid sa food. matakaw kasi kami ni hubby hahaha.

we stayed at swissotel kasi. malaking chunk ng budget namin un kaso 1st anniv naman namin kaya sabi ni hubby ok lang mag stay sa mahal na hotel and besides off peak sya so nakuha lang namin sa 6k pesos per night when it costs twice as much or more pag peak season like spring. right smack in the middle of namba pa sya so great location din.

sa kyoto we stayed naman 2 nights at hotel mystays kyoto shijo and sa tokyo naman we stayed at grand prince hotel new takanawa which is part of the package i booked through japanican.com 16k pesos for 2 roundtrip shinkansen (osaka-tokyo-osaka) with 1 night stay at a 5 star hotel. super sulit dun.

Hi fallen_@ngeL! 10 days in Japan is a good start to experience a little bit of this amazing country. But like most people I know, including me, I can't get enough of Japan. I've been there twice and will be going back again early next year.

November is a lovely time to be in Japan. I was in Japan on the last two weeks of November last year to experience Autumn and the Winter Illuminations Festival.
The focus of our stay then was to explore more of Tokyo but we spent a day in Yokohama (to stuff ourselves with Ramen at the Ramen Museum and experience the world's cleanest Chinatown).
If you want to have a look at some of our photos, please google "cijapan2015" and all my ig photos pertaining to our japan trip will appear. i can answer any particular questions you may have if you leave a comment.

A few suggestions:

Tokyo
- pockets of yellow-orange-red fills this city. There's beautiful foliage everywhere but I particularly liked the ones we saw in Odaiba, Omotesando and Asakusa.
- visit the Meiji Jingu Shrine to witness the changing colours of the trees and if lucky, you will also witness a Shinto wedding

Arashiyama in Kyoto
- have a walk along Togetsukyo Bridge (in November, the mountains in this area looks magnificent in different shades of Autumn)
- visit the Bamboo Forest not too far away from Togetsukyo Bridge

Osaka, the food capital of Japan
- head on to Dotonbori with an empty stomach and start your food tripping at the Crab restaurant for some grilled crab legs. Next to that, Takoyaki and Gyoza. If you need something warm, there's cheap ramen. End your day by having an Okonomiyaki dinner at one of the restos (best enjoyed with Sake!).

For a great view of Mt. Fuji, head to Chureito Pagoda located in Fujiyoshida City (Yamanashi Prefecture).

If you will be Tokyo towards the end of November, check out the Winter Illuminations schedule. In the evenings, key areas in Tokyo are lit up with the most beautiful lights and art installations.

the accoms that I booked are all guesthouses from airbnb which means we can cook breakfast pa if we want to tipid talaga

^yes sis pwede walk in sa pagbili ng one way ticket pwede pa nga credit card para di mabawasan pocket money mo lols.

may ski resort na siguro na open sis. pero kami mga feb kami umakyat bundok though hindi kami nag ski. gusto lang ma experience yung puro snow hahahaha.
