^Thanks sis! Planning to get the 7-day pass because we'll be staying for 9days sa Japan. 3-4D siguro sa Tokyo and then the remaining days spread out sa Osaka Nagoya and Kyoto. But exit point is osaka na sis. So pwede pala sis na maghanap ako ng Tokyo railpass lang then yung Kintetsu railpass. Kasi one way  lang ang Tokyo-Osaka namin and then Osaka na yung home base namin after.

^ korek sis! You're welcome! Di lang ako sure kung anong pass yung unli around Tokyo. Suica pass ata yung binili nung isang friend ko. Sulit talaga samin yung Kintetsu Rail Pass Nabili namin sya sa Bic Camera Store sa Nagoya station pero I think may mabibili ka naman nun around Tokyo kung dun ang entry point nyo. Pumunta kami sa Mie prefecture. 1 hr away from Nagoya. Mula Kuwana station may bus to Jazz Dream. Madaming outlet stores dun. Search mo nalang sis Jazz Dream. Madami din ukay ukay stores dun sa Kuwana if you have a local to tour you around lalo na pag Pinoy kasi alam nila san mura mag shopping. I got winter coats and jackets for 8php lang and mga blazers na pang office for 20php lang Di makapaniwala mga officemates ko na ukay lang yung mga suot ko sa pics

^gosh sis damonsgirl that winter coat at 8php!!! I have to note that kasi winter kami andun at fortune ang cost ng winter coats dto sa atin!
Ill note the suica pass for our tokyo stay! I don't really know about passes in Japan except the JR pass, i'm so glad I started asking here.

^^ Suica is not really a pass; it's a re-loadable card that you can use on almost all trains and buses sa Tokyo, similar to Singapore's EZlink, if you're familiar.    It's convenient, pero doesn't really offer any savings.

I agree na hindi sulit yung JR pass if mag one-way lang kayo na Tokyo-Osaka. Sa Tokyo area you can avail of the JR Tokunai pass na lang - unli rides sa JR trains for 1 day. I think it's around 750 JPY, and you can buy it from the ticket machines at the station (usually may english menu naman). There's another JR Tokyo-wide pass, pero hindi sulit if hindi ka mag-shinkansen. So it depends din sa itinerary nyo sa Tokyo leg.

^thanks for clarifying sis. Yung friend ko lang kasi bumili ng suica and nakita ko lang ig post nya nung card I just purchased tickets for each train ride I took in Tokyo

Hello, it will be our first Japan trip and I would really appreciate your opinions regarding our itinerary. Today pa lang ako nag-start mag-plan and I'm overwhelmed. We'll be there for 9 days, Manila-Osaka then Tokyo-Manila.

Spend another night sa Kyoto or Osaka. Then adjust mo na lang yung sched mo. I mean, you got all Tokyo covered na din naman. If I have to choose between Kansai area and Kanto, Kansai ako. hehe.

Or, go to Kawaguchico, Mt. Fuji area. Or go to Yokohama.

Thank you sis! Will consider in case hindi kami makakuha ng Ghibli ticket from Lawson. Malaki pala kasi difference pag sa websites ng agencies bibili before the trip.

Parang ang daming nabibitin sa Kyoto sis noh? We might extend na lang din since we're travelling as a couple naman, mukhang mas maganda talaga mag-stay doon. Plus, this autumn yung trip namin.  Or possible 1-day Mount Fuji tour kung hindi kami makakuha ng Ghibli ticket. Thank you so much!

Yes! Sulit mga package sa Japanican! Kumuha ako ng osaka-tokyo-osaka shinkansen package for 2 with 1 night overnight stay sa isang 5 star hotel sa tokyo for only 16k! Sulit diba?

hello!! im planning of going to japan this december (22-26) for my birthday sana. mga how much po kaya budget?

yun lang sana matuloy. ang hirap humanap murang fare. san pa ba ok magtingin bukod sa pal, cebpac, airasia at jetstar?

gusto ko sana makita:
Arashiyama bamboo grove
Shibuya crossing
Hachiko statue
(if possible: universal studios)
At makakita ng snow.

dahil parang natataranta ako, di ko alam kung kaya ka yan ng 5 days. haha kung gano sila kalalayo or ano ang mas important puntahan.

^Sis, bitin 5 days if you plan to visit those places. USJ is in Osaka, Arashiyama is in Kyoto (an hour or so from Osaka), and Shibuya//Hachiko naman is in Tokyo (around 8-9 hours from Osaka via overnight bus, 3-4 hours I think if Shinkansen). Feasible siguro kung 5 full days na hindi kasama yung dates ng flights though medyo Amazing Race pa rin ang peg.

We booked our tickets with Jetstar, feeling ko kasi hindi ganun “ka-crowded” yung site pag may sales unlike Cebpac. Our MNL-KIX, NRT-MNL tickets only amounted to 7k/pax.

Japan is starting to become very popular among couples as a honeymoon destination.. i dont get why  hindi naman sya romantic place unless around the time of the cherry blossoms. perhaps there is so much to do na naeenjoy ng most couples?

^bagong asian destination kasi na affordable na ang ticket sis. Unlike nung unang panahon ang mahal ng ticket at buong akala ng mga tao mahal sa japan pero hindi naman talaga. sawa na din siguro ang ibang tao sa ibang asian destinations hehe.

^^Guilty ako dyan. Dyan kami naghoneymoon since pareho naming pangarap na makarating sa Japan. Una sa Bali dapat kaso daming feedback na di naman daw ganun kaganda. Sabado ang kasal, monday umalis na kami at pinagsisihan namin. Pagod pa tapos pang amazing race ang itinerary namin (Tokyo-Osaka-Kyoto-Tokyo). Nung sa dulo medyo nagkakabadtripan na kami sa pagod hahaha.

Sa april, plan namin bumalik for cherry blossoms since fall nung honeymoon namin. Kyoto-osaka na lang at relaxed trip na lang since may baby na at family na kasama. 5 kaming adult at baby.

Question: Ano ang chance na available sa seat sale ang date ng cherry blossom?

Gusto ko ng ibbook yung 16k/pax na ticket kasi peak season yun at feeling ko wala yun pag nag seat sale. Madami din kasi nagsasabi na walang seat sale pag cherry blossom.

Yes sis walang seat sale na bongga ang discount for cherry blossoms. My friend booked saktong sakto sa week ng pag bloom nila around 13k per person. So I guess ok na ang 16k na nakita mo considering a few years back pa nagpunta friend ko.
