Hello sisses! Ask Lang Sana ako if anyone can check what is the earliest date for US B2 visa application.  I only have one month here in the Philippines for visa application. Nahihinayang Lang ako na mag bayad Ng 8k visa fee then Hindi Naman pala available Yung dates na available ako. I heard Kasi na Phil passport, July pa Ang open slots.

I hope someone can help me. Thank you in advance!

^I just checked now and the earliest is May 22. But usually may nago-open pa ng earlier. My son's original appointment was May 4 (that was the earliest available nung nagbook ako nung April 12) pero nung nag check ako ulit nung April 16, nag open yung April 19 and 20. So I changed his appointment to April 19.

I have question for visa application for kids.
If both parents have US visa na, what are the requirements when we apply for our 3 kids?

Then at least one of us should be present during the interview right?

^You need to accomplish a DS 160 form for each of them. At the day of the interview, hihingin yung visas ng parents. It would be good to bring their birth certificates to the interview too pero kami hindi naman hiningian.

It should be less troublesome na right? I mean less the documents you needed to prepare compared to when you were applying for yourself, coz that one you have to establish the fact na babalik ka.

I just want to share our visa intereview yesterday and unfortunately we were denied. The reason were thinking was on the part when the consul asked if we have relatives in the US and for some reason my sister answered No and her partner answered No also, while on the form we answered Yes.

*My father was petitioned by her Mom but he got married and our Grandmother died 1993*
*Our father has a pending petition from his sister. But that aunt of ours was already retired and living here in the Philippines. Both were explained in the ds160 form since we were not sure if we were included on the first petition*

Single (with common law partner of 15 yrs)

3 branches of Computer Cafe (opened 2005,2011&2014)

We were scheduled at 8:30am, smooth processing until the interview. They were called on window 27 and I on window 28. The lady usher told us na we can?t go together but its the decision of the consul if he want to. While waiting for the man in front of me to finish, i was called by the consul on their window to join them since my sister told him that we were travelling together.

First question is what is the purpose of your travel. He told us that we put a contact person living in Daly City. We said yes she?s the cousin of our Dad. Next question was what do you do looking at my sister. Then asked her partner the same question.

VO: What is the purpose of your travel (while looking at us)
Sister: Vacation and leisure around San francisco and LA, then i told a little shopping also.
VO: I see that you put a contact person living in Daly City.
Us: Yeah she is the cousin of our father
VO: What do you do (asking my sister)
Sister: I am a fish stall owner and a Bookkeeping services. My husband is a home based Baker and owns a Tshirt printing services.
VO: im not sure what he says but i think he said Stop right there (to my sister)
VO: her partner, what do you do?
Her Partner: I am a home Baker and i owns a printing shop.
VO: and you (my name) are you employed right now?
Me: Yes i?m self employed. I have a business of Computer Cafe with 3 branches.
VO: Are you married?
Me: Not yet. (I was supposed to tell that i have a common law partner of 15yrs and we were planning to get married this 2020 but the VO asked another question to HP)
VO: So you (HP?s name) you?ve been travelling together with her (sister)
Her Partner: Yes we?ve been to (states the country)
VO: Have you been outside the Philippines (my name)
Me: Yes i?ve been to (states the countries listed above)
VO: Typing for 1-2mins
VO: Do you have any relatives in the United States?
Sister: (answered very fast) No
VO: and you HP, do you have any relatives in the United States?
Her Partner: No
VO: typing for another 1 min
VO: Getting a blue paper. I was thinking omg one of us was denied.
VO: I?m sorry but i cannot give your visa right now. You can see the reason in this paper.
Me: All of us?!
VO: Yes,
Me: If i were to reapply next time, can you tell me how to strengthen my ties or profile?
VO: I cannot disclosed any infomartion about your denial but you can see it in thus paper (while handing our passport)
Us: Thank you

While we were walking i knew right away that it was the relative part where my sister answered Yes was the reason. Then Her Partner was also thinking, ano ba ang sinagot ko sa ds160 ko? Is it a yes or no? Then we found out Yes din he totally forgot about it haha. Sad but we were laughing kase we thought that the simple yes or no will be the culprit.

 We want to redeem ourselves. It is a honest mistake. My sister got nervous that she answered No. Where as i kept my mouth shut i didn?t react on that very moment. Our only concern is the consul might put in our record that we lied. But we were thinking were not lying because we answered Yes in the ds160 form, while in the interviewed we answered No. We just got caught in the moment.

Please any advice/comments will be appreciated. Right now we were thinking of reapplying again and June 1 is the earliest. My common law parter wants to join me. But im afraid that since im denied once, it will affect his application too. Is reapplying too soon a waste of money or not?

^^Technically, we?re not supposed to prepare anything naman besides DS 160 and a valid passport. We just take it upon ourselves to be ready to prove that we are coming back in case they ask. But yes, the interview for your kids? visa application should be less daunting.

^What does the blue slip say? From what I?ve heard, it?s not advisable to reapply unless your circumstances change. If you reapply immediately too, it could give them the impression that you?re too eager (which might lead them into thinking you?re up to something fishy). You can, of course, always take the risk anytime.

We plan to re-apply probably next year. Ang reason namin ngayon is graduation gift kasi ito ng mom ko sa daughter ko. Kami ng daughter ko yung magre-apply then sasama yung brother ko (new application).

Okay ba na reason yung graduation gift? Makapagsyal sa disney, etc? My mom will shoulder the expenses. Working naman ako for 7 years while my brother 2 years.

The reason na na-deny ako dati I THINK was because of my marital status. Nakalagay kasi married ako pero in reality, hiwalay na kami for 7 years not legally tho'. Thinking that they've done a background check on me, nung tinanong ako nasa ang husband napaamin ako na hiwalay na kami matagal na.. then ayun, ang haba na ng tinype niya then after a few questions - denied 

Should I now change my marital status sa form to separated na?

Dapat kasi, isang tanong isang sagot, and then elaborate lang on the business part, show that you can afford the tour (I brought my ITR, business permit and bank certificates. Officer only asked for my ITR). Also, sana one interviewee at a time. I think you have a better chance sana than with your sister. I am a business owner too and I got 10 years. Gandahan din ang grammar (sorry for this) or mag tagalog na lang pwede naman, meron sila dun..

2. Have you ever used other names (i.e., maiden, religious, professional, alias, etc)- if married, nilagay niyo maiden name?

I just renewed last week . Sa last name married surname  sa first name naman first name and middle name . Then sa other names  surname ng single pa then sa first name naman first name and middle name ng dalaga. For pick up na sa 2go passports namin . Renewed via interview waiver program

hello!! i have a question.

my sister is scheduled for chemo therapy. and wala sya kasama sa bahay. nasa ibang state yun hubby nya and bagong lipat lang sa work. we were thinking if pwede kaya mag-request kame na need nya ng help and pupunta ako don. kase pag di rin daw naging ok ang chemo nya, diretso rin sya operahan.

so, pwede kaya yon? and panong request gagawin namin? btw, i had a 10yr us visa na, expired in 2005. twice na kao nag-try mag-renew and denied. ayoko na sana mag-try ulet, but my sister needs help sana.
