Tagaytay bride here! This is my first post.  Any reviews sa Clear Water Resthouse and Oriental Luxury Suites? How about San Antonio de Padua vs Our Lady of Lourdes Parish?

^Clearwater din ako sis. Medyo konti pa nga lang ang reviews pero nung nag-ocular kami ang comment ko lang may patches na patay na yung grass dun sa malapit sa terrace overlooking taal. the rest ok naman. sana lang mamaintain nila yung grass

Re church choices mo sis magkalayo sila. Both maganda naman. But magkakatalo sa recep mo kung saan.

^sis pretty_B not necessarily pero yun ang offer nila.
wala silang corkages pero ang venue rental nila for 4 hours is 60k, no ingress and egress.
may offer sila na exclusive package (kasama suites and rooms na good for 20 pax, 9 hour use of the function room, plus access to pool, free prenup, etc) kaso 150k

^ medyo mabigat nga sis.pero may prenup package na din yun worth 25k (prenup plus accomodation for one night).maghapon na use ng function hall and all rooms.kakagaling lang namin this weekend.
Fat Lens & Co. is offering 8k lang photo coverage including prenup pa if with oriental.

anyway saan ba church mo sis and ano yung gusto mo na dating.kasi function hall to plus garden.if bet mo yung super wide na garden ganyan baka di kasya. plus tingin ko hanggang 100 to 120 lang comfy sa loob.may aircon naman so di sila nagrerely sa weather lang ng tagaytay.

^ kalahati na ng budget namin yan sis, di pa kasama catering   
may butler service pa nga eh ahaha.

nagtanong lang ako dyan kasi Oct 2018 kami dapat so what if umulan, at least indoor kami. but since nag palit kami to March 2019 di na namin kailangan indoor hehe.

Civil Wedding kami. So far, Tagaytay ang top choice namin. We wanted sana to book a private house then mala-backyard wedding with our close relatives, around 20-30pax. Okay din kung may pool for the kids and not-so-kids, para after the ceremony then reception, magbonding lang family namin overnight. We're still looking for the venue. Preparation venue, ceremony venue, reception venue and accommodation at night all in one. hehe.

Mariel's garden (may pool)
Ricarte's Hill
Cleeve Hills
Villa Nonita (may pool)
Casa del Sol ata (or villa) - parang glamping
Windsor Vacation House (di ko alam kung may pool)
Olive Garden (or The Olive tree ata) may pool din

lahat naka save sa airbnb ko yan. baka maka help. backyard reception kasi hanap namin kasi yung iba maliit for 100. gusto kasi namin is venue na malapit sa church tapos same preps at reception para di magulo sa map and convenient samin

Thanks Sis Ocarina1  Nagbbrowse na ako ng pics and reviews ng mga prospect venues ko. Napansin ko lang pag airbnb, once na kausap ko na yung host. iba pala ang rate pag event sya. kahit small wedding.

^ how about Balai Indang in cavite sis? Ok ba backyard wedding dun? Havent been there though.

yes sis pretty_B may difference kasi ata dahil kasama yung wattage, utilities, maintenance, etc. kasi pag house lang sa airbnb, house lang talaga pero pag event buong property na including garden and parang per head use yung computation.

sorry sis jentotmd, di pa rin ako nakaka rating doon. hehe.

anyway, may nakapag try or may kilala ba kayong hor d?oeuvres/canapes caterer or food cart na nag seserve ng bar food? for cocktail hour kasi balak namin magpa serve ng sliders, chicken wings, and skewers sana. TIA sa mga ideas

Thanks Sis jentotmd and Sis Ocarina1. Oo nga sisses naisip ko din because of the electricity and use ng ibang amenities yung additional fees. So far, additional 5-10k palang naman yung nareceive kong quotation for the event fee. Now, since some sa nakausap ko na hosts without catering services, i am looking for caterers who can serve up to 30pax lang, sana less than 1k per head. huhu. Baka may marecommend kayo. Tagaytay based sana para wala na ootf.

I'll check Balai Indang sis.
