Hi sis @Ziyi ok na kami sa venue at church. Ok na din sa church set up at flowers for me and the whole entourage. Meet up ko with coutourier in Aug for my measurements. PV done na din. Inuna kasi namin ang major suppliers. Then small details at bills na lang inaayos ngayon. Sobrang hassle-free. Sa guests lang kami nahihirapan hehe 🙂😉

Are you getting married last quarter of 2016 or first quarter of 2017?
Did you book your preparations venue already?
You should do so ASAP, because you will be competing with those who will be booking hotel rooms for the holidays, for graduation, for valentine's, etc.

hello January 2017 brides, just read this morning from DTS about the booking timeline. Nakapagbook na ba kayo ng hotel for wedding preps? I'm a Jan bride too, but up to now undecided pa rin ako to which hotel.

^sis, I had my prep at Shang Fort. They're very strict in bringing in food. And you can't hide the food either in gift boxes or locked suitcases because they have x-ray machines and dog siffers. Luckily they let us get away with is because they were newly opened but they did tell us that it was not allowed. Also, I don't think picture taking is allowed anymore in the public areas acdg to another bride here.

hi sis, where is your church ba? Ako April 2017 bride, but I booked Edsa Shang last Feb pa. I suggest mag-book ka na para masecure mo na. What I like about Edsa Shang is hindi sila ganun kastrict, and its accessible to the mall, in case may last minute kang kailangan shangri la mall is so near.

Sis Chili1113, thanks for the feedback, tatanggalin ko na sa list ang Shang Fort, important pa man din for me na mapakain ng maayos ang mga suppliers sa hotel ko mismo. I don't want them to be eating out para less worries for me.

My church is Mary The Queen Parish, sa may Greenhills my first choice talaga is Edsa Shang. Ang prob ko lang dun yung gusto ko na pinakamalaking suite nila eh nasa 69k. Either magsettle ako sa less 20k nilang room pag no choice na ako. Ikaw ba sis kaitlynmischa ano yung kinuha mo na room nila?

January bride din ako. Nakapagbook na kami ng wedding preps venue. Kailangan talaga unahin kasi mahirap na maubusan.

^January 2017 din ako, buti nakapagbook na kayo.. When I asked diamond hotel ang sabi sa akin di pa daw sila nagaaccept ng booking for January...

^ Usually may mga hotels na 6 months prior to date of stay pwede na magbook. Yung sa akin, we waited until June to book kasi sa website nila hindi kami makapagbook pa at lumalabas na "no available rooms" pa daw for the date. Malapit naman na mag-July baka by then pwede na kayo magbook sis.

maedonnas: sis better siguro if you email shang fort or call them. They just opened and so their rules keep changing also. Baka payagan ka din. Like pictures are NOT allowed in public areas daw, but when I asked for permission pumayag sila na a few mins. But good thing I asked them to send me an email so that when we were shooting, we had an email printout to show na pinayagan kami before booking. =)

Hi...for those you are eyeing for a unique souvenir or giveaways for their wedding, i highly recmmend flipbooks, Flip Productions in particular instead of the usual photo booth, its like a small booklet, it is really fun and your guest will surely love it.

hello 2017 brides! finally confirmed na ang date namin and so far, church palang na-book namin. hahahaha. sa january na kami kaloka. If you have any recommendations na venue and hotel na mura around antipolo, let me know. 😉

@maedonnas hi sissy! Dun din kasi ang reception ko sa Edsa Shang so kasama na yung room sa package.
But definitely, not the suite. that's too pricey. You can get discounts naman for additional rooms so thats another option for you. And besides, you can't maximise it, maybe your guests can stay in other rooms. Para solo mo sya, Shang rooms naman are spacious enough kahit hindi suite. And yeah, you don't have to deal with all the bawal, anyone can go in and out of the hotel via shangrila. Ako nga yung ibang guests ko, nag Air Bnb ako sa One Shang Place sila magsstay, its a condo pero for rent din and its nice very spacious. I have checked one na nasa 12k lang but super big and elegant. Also, I suggest you talk with one of the account managers at Shang, they will assist you naman whats suits you best.

^I'm currently in contact with Shang's customer sale exec via email nga lang, I'm requesting for 2 suites that are near to each other. And yes I want one suite all to myself and the other suite for family and entourage. Currently one room apart yung available na mga suites which is already good. But I have to think about it some more, last resort ko if ever ang room.  Yun din ang nagustuhan ko sa Shang yung walang bawal at di masiyado mahigpit

I want nga to talk to an account manager kahit email man lang. Paiba iba kasi yung nakakusap ko sa email na sale exec (reservations.esl@shangri-la.com)  wala tuloy consistency parang depende sa nakashift.

Hi sis, i-push mo na yan if Suite talaga ang preferred mo. Photographer can give you better shots pag spacious nga naman. Kasi ako I only got 6 rooms at Garden Wing, 2 rooms are included in the package. Other guests, na hindi kasama sa entourage sa one shang na. Anyways, ang contact ko events manager since dun ang reception maybe you can try contacting them, baka they can assist you or transfer you to AE na yun na lang contact mo. I can't give you the number of a specific events manager but you can try to check this out:
