my banker friend told me that delinquencies in the past (credit cards and telcos) are indelible. kahit may clearance ka na and kahit nagpay ka na in full, if you were delinquent once, you will have that mark for a very long time.

some banks lang forgive. discretion pa din ng card issuer but that record remains.

Hi Sis mysterioza_me, annual fees have nothing to do with card use. Yung annual fee kasi, na cha charge for having the credit card account mismo. Usually, annual fees naman common sa mga rewards cards (which let you earn points), miles or cash back and secured cards ( for risky customers na kailagan mag build  (or rebuild) ng good credit standing ( for future use), then, dahil may benefits ka as customer ng credit card company mo, parang yung annual fee na yung fee mo sa services nila. You can avoid the annual fee charge lang if you cancel the card.

Anong card ginamit mo sis? Not sure with other credit card companies. Nagawa ko na before sa Citibank and sobrang baba lang ng interest, bu that was 2 years ago.  ;) ;) ;)

You may call your bank din baka may feature din sila na ganun.  ;)

Thanks sis.

To start the story, im a BPI cardholder since 2007.  Delta skymiles card.
So one night, i was watching 24 oras and i was frightened by the news about credit card fraud via card cloning.
So nag-log in ako to check. Take note na last month ko lang naactivate ang BPI expressonline account ko. So while trembling and waiting for my account details to load, finally nakita ko na.

Napamura ako! p****ng in*!!
But wait.. Bakit may negative sign??
As in -206k+ ang total amount due ko..
Since May -june-july kaya dapat wala ako babayaran. at may mga payments made ako na nakalagay. So being a noob or shunga.. Meaning BPI owes me money.

So i emailed BPI the same night and provided all the copies of the deposit slips to support my refund claim, IDs, billing statements, at kung ano-ano pa..

I remember those times na talagang pumipila ako ng mahaba to pay.
Then while paying, i also minimized my spending.

I remember those times na nagpepray ako ke God na tulungan nya akong isolve ang problem ko sa cc because i tend to overspend.

Then ako naman, sa 50k na yun i will not use my cc as much as possible at pagkakasyahin ko pa rin yung lahat ng needs sa monthly expenses namin. At syempre ipinilit ko pa rin na dapat bibili ako ng gold per month as force savings or investment.. Kasi may 10k monthly allowance naman ako as per his budgeting allocation hehe.
Parang yun na ang social life ko. Makipagbolahan sa mga alahera hehe. Kaya pagbigyan nyo na hehe. 😄

soooo nagtry ako magpawaive ng monthly fee sa BDO (125pesos). i have to spend daw 5k the next 30 days para iwaive. monthly spending ko naman talaga ranges from 5k-20k so ano kaya point niya. ang kaso the following month tatawag nanaman daw ako para mapawaive yun. nainis ako, ipapaclose ko na kako. akala ko susuyuin pa ako, hindi na.

so ayun, 1 cc down.

use the SIP feature for BPI. I sometimes use credit to cash for plane tickets lalo pag super mahal. up to 36 months installment.

May BDO cards na monthly maningil instead na annual. Like yung Shopmore.
