Mga sis, I need your advice.

Nagtext ang BDO na approved daw ako for Amex blue, even if I never applied.

Tapos nung idedeliver na, sa old address ko dinala, kasi hindi ko pa sila na-update sa new address ko.

Anyway, hinarang ng guard yung courier, so return to sender ang nangyari. I called BDO hotline to change my address on record.

May naka-experience na ng ganito? How long bago dadating yung card?

Anxious lang kasi first ever CC ko to, and masaya ako na 90K ang credit limit agad.

Hi sis. Rob DOS never called me.

^ there's nothing wrong if itawag mo. Mas ok pa nga yun.

When I travelled to Korea, lahat ng cards ko itinawag ko na at these dates, Im out of the country so expect na magkakaron ako ng purchases outside PH.

2 weeks after I arrived here, na hack yung citibank card ko, so ang bilis ko lang din na pa rollback ( tama ba term? ) yung purchases since alam nila wala na ko sa Korea so hindi saken yung purchases na pumasok sa account ko.

Madedeliver sayo yun if nabigay mo na tamang address. Idedeliver nila yun sayo since approved ka na and sympre kikita sila sayo. 😁

Baka you have an existing account with bdo kaya naapproved ka agad maski di ka nag-apply. Nareceived ko after about 3 business days.

^travel tags are not necessary but more of a convenience. your bank will immediately assume that there might be fraudulent transactions if you use your card overseas so they will most likely block it. it's best to inform them.

my BDO card got blocked in HK, the charge was almost 100k pesos though. kahit may travel tag. called them immediately and they confirmed the travel tag is still active but the system automatically blocked the transaction kasi malaki siguro daw ang amount. my Citi card worked fine naman buti nalang. also with travel tag.

the next day, i used my BDO card at SASA, worked fine. although just a small charge, nasa 8k or so lang. so, i learned na they will really block your card at the slightest duda.

On a side note, my friend got declined sa Robinsons Bank. May bad credit history sya though.

BDO CC -- my husband is a gold card holder. Okay naman yung experience nya. Nawawaive ang annual fee.

BPI CC - I am a gold card holder. If I reach a certain spending amount, nakakapagrequest ako to waive annual fee. Madami din promotions and because of this card, I got to have a 3 yrs multiple entry to Korea.

Citi Rewards - Okay ang experience ko dito, so many perks. Mabilis magrequest ng annual fee waiver. Tapos twice na ko pinadalhan ng e-gift. the first one was worth 3500 which I used to buy a Sperry shoes. the second one was worth 4000 which I used to buy in digital walker.

I switched to Citi Premiermiles kasi mas target ko yung non-expriring miles. :) Ang bilis ko makaipon, so I'm hoping maging enough for a plane ticket abroad.

In any case, this year, sinabihan lang sya to spend at least 4k tapos iwawaive nila annual fee. Yung annual spending nya is nasa 10k lang. :)

Yung BPI ko, more than 150k spending, tapos no issues na pag nagrequest ako iwaive yun annual fee.

It seems I always get declined when I apply for a credit card. Could it be because I wasn't able to pay my postpaid plans and eventually nacut off na siya. It's been years na din kasi.

^ Yes that's the reason.  Credit card companies & banks have a database where they can check people who have unpaid debts.  It affects your credit history.  Better settle that with the tech company no matter how small.
