Been to Bohol last week for our honeymoon. Ang nait talaga ng mga tao dito at parang malambing ang mga boses nila talaga. Hehe! We stayed at Amorita for 2 nights and another 2 nights sa South Palms. Wala kaming nakainang masarap along Alona Beach though At parang ang mahal. It's my second time na in Bohol my hubby 1st time. Kaso di nya peg mag tour tour kaya minimal tour lang ginawa namin. Went to Chocolate Hills, Tarsier, Man made Forest and Loboc River. Di talaga ok food ng loboc river cruise grabe. Yung view lang talaga babayaran mo eh. Meron pa nga kami nakasabay sa Bohol Bee Farm tour namin na-ospital sila after kumain sa cruise. Nakakatakot. Galit na galit yung sila. Sana naman ma improve yung food duon.

Bohol Bee Farm, the best. Buti nalang di kami tinamad at we push through with out tour. Hehe. Yung nakuha namin along Alona beach na nag countryside tour samin, siya na din kinuha namin pa BBF. 500 singil samin back and forth South Palms. Ang lapit lang ng biyahe from South Palms pala isang diretso lang, 4km lang based sa waze. Ok na din mabait naman si Kuya. Nagpaintay din kasi kami. Ganda ng view dito at sarap ng food for me. Nag join din kami ng farm tour, 30 pesos lang sya, 30 minutes. Interesting.

Di kami nakapag Firefly watching sayang gusto ko pa naman yun. Sa hotels naman, taas expectations ko kay Amorita based sa mga reviews sa trip advisor pero mas naenjoy at nagustuhan ko si South Palms. From the early check in na hindi talaga namin iniexpect (12:30pm pinag check in na kami yipeee!), the complimentary wine, very helpful and courteous staff, free pa ang buri bag (kay Amorita kasi ibabalik after, haha), nagustuhan din namin ang food, reasonably priced sya for us, pati breakfast selection mas madami sa South Palms during our stay. Plus plus points beachfront sya. Only downside is the beach, ang babaw lang ng tubig All year round ba ganon dun?

Sa Amorita naman, siguro kasi super nag expect ako sa kanila kaya lang since yun nga ineexpect ko na parang nakulangan lang ako. Hehe. But the food taste and quality is equally great, mas mahal nga lang sa Amorita. Yung package namin with 60min massage and romantic dinner grabe super sulit hindi talaga tinipid food and service.

It was a nice stay at Bohol. It will always have a special place in my heart. Ang nakalimutan ko pala is yung Tarsier Botanika. Sayang. Hope to be back some other time.

hi sisses! any suggestions on where to stay na affordable and child friendly?  budget ko sana is 3k below per night, for two nights. for our third night, i'm considering be grand resort, bellevue, and south palms.  also, any recommendations on tour guides and how much? thanks!

We went to bohol last weekend. 4d3n at Amorita.
During our 1st day, upon arrival, I was disappointed since sobrang taas ng expectation ko with the service and room.
2nd day onwards it became better! I appreciate their warm service already, hahaa
They have nightly turn down service, cookies, sweets, etc.
The breakfast buffet is soooo good! Most esp the bacon! They have this everyday! Few selections but quality talaga ang food.
Mahal ang prices ng ala carte pero masarap talaga! Worth the money!
Water activities such as paddle board, kayak, snorkeling are free WITH INSTRUCTOR / GUIDE! Look for Carlo, he can even tour you outside Bohol! They also have bikes to use free of charge.
Very relaxing ang ambiance! I love the fact na pwede ka talagang magrelax even just lounging sa pool side / swing.
Staff are courteous most esp the general manager, Mr Noel!
Downside is mahaba ang lakad from the main area of Amorita to Alona beach. They have their own path pababa but the view is stunning!
Im so glad I was able to get it at discounted rate during one of the travel expos.
Highly recommended to most esp if you want intimate / relaxing ambiance.

I left my heart at South Palms.  Ang tahimik. Ang sarap lang humiga sa hammock/swing --- i-feel  ang hangin at pakinggan ang alon ng dagat. Nasa dulo yung room namin kaya talagang ang tahimik. Medyo nakakatakot lang rin kasi ang layo na sa front desk at ibang guests pero may security naman na naglalakad lang sa area namin. Konti lang ang food selection pero masarap. May free 30 minutes use din ng kayak/paddle board pero sabi ni kuya guide, i-enjoy lang daw namin hanggang gusto namin. Pero sumuko din kami agad kasi ang sakit na ng braso ko. 

Nakapag-early check in din kami at hinayaan kami sa gusto naming check-out time. Nag-check out kami ng 8:45 na (at nakaalis ng 9:55) kahit 10:15 ang flight namin. Sinundo kami ng van sa room namin dahil nga malayo-layong lakarin din papuntang front desk. May pabaon din pala sila uli na 5 pieces ng peanut kisses bukod sa una na nilang ibinigay. Gusto ko rin pala yung nagdala pa uli sila samin ng bottled water bukod pa sa nasa room na.

Babalikan ko yung puso ko dun.

Hi mga sis. May I know if amorita allows sneak in like in henann? If not, may nakaka alam ba how much yun extra bed and breakfast? They're supposed to stay in henann kaso fully booked na yun dec 14 to 16. Any comments which is better between amorita and be grand? TIA

We will be staying at Amorita rin sis Dec 15-17 naman kami.
I asked them, and extra bed is 1,000 per night, wala pang breakfast yun.

Hi sis! I don't think makakalusot ang sneak in sa amorita sa super pagka personalized ng service nila. Memorize yata talaga nila sino sino naka check in eh. Hehe. They even remembered our time of breakfast and where we are seated after just one breakfast.

Day 1: Late na makaarrive sa cebu gabi na actually.. We will stay at Gran Tierra Suites..
Day2: City Tour lang...
Ang balak ko sa umaga, Temple of Leah, then lunch ng lantaw.
and if maisingit Sirao far,

Then after lunch balak namin sa city nalang at mamili ng daing sa tab-oan after.
May nakausap akong car rental at 2300 innova na sya and 8 hrs.. so ok lang na mag DIY na kami pag sa city like magellan cross and neabby..

Day 3: off to Bohol na kami...
Day 4: Country side tour. we got tatsky sa tour and transfer. sya din kinuha namin before.. smooth ang transaction sa kanila. pati ocean jet ticket pinabili ko sa kanila.

Day 5: Wala pa kasi di na kami tutuloy sa sea tour e.
Day 6: morning flight back to Manila.
