We will go to Bohol this coming Friday to Sunday. Super bilis lang. Sa Best Western Plus The Ivywall Resort-Panglao kami mag-stay. Malapit lang ba ito sa new Panglao airport? Yung usual countryside tours ilang oras ba yun mga sis?

He's under Tatsky's Incredible Bohol Tours (they have an FB page).

^Project nina husband yan Ivywall. Along Alona lang rin yan, may be around 15-20 mins from the Panglao airport.

You need an entire day for the countryside tour. Yung sa amin we left Panglao at around 6:30am (2-3 hours away kasi yung Chocolate Hills) and was back in the island by 3-4pm.. Nag ATV kami nung morning and almost 2 hours rin yun. So pwedeng earlier kayo matapos if skip nyo yung ATV.

^Sis thank you. Ang layo pala ng chocolate hills from Panglao ano? Meron lang kasi kaming 2 full days Friday and Saturday. Then flight back to Manila kami at 2PM ng Sunday. Hindi din kami makakapag start ng early tour kasi lapag ng plane namin this Friday 7:20 AM pa. Sis okay naman sa senior citizens yung paakyat doon sa Chocolate hills? We are a big group kasi. Malamang yung iba mag ATV then yung iba aakyat nalang sa stairs at may senior kami.

^yung ATV sa baba lang, so need nyo pa rin umakyat para sa view deck.. Senior-friendly naman yung paakyat, medyo maraming steps lang pero okay naman sila magstairs walang problema.

Okay na siguro yang 7:20am na baba, say 8AM kayo makaalis ng Panglao. Yun chocolate hills lang naman ang malayo, the rest ng mga stops eh along the way na.

Yung sa amin lang inagahan namin kasi nga nag ATV kami tapos gusto namin bumalik by 4pm para makatambay sa beach before mag sunset (airbnb kasi kami, hindi beachfront).

Kasama namin 3 yr old daughter ko and 7 yr old nephew. Nag ATV kami kasama sila and yung daughter ko umakyat rin sa view deck. Also sa hanging bridge, then yung hinagdanan cave sa Panglao. Nothing extreme naman, kaya favorite ko rin Bohol kasi wholesome activities lang, family-friendly sya talaga.

For me, sulit ang buffet sa Hennan Resort. Along Alona lang rin, same shore sa Ivywall.

^Haven't stayed at Bohol Beach Club but nagpunta kami sa Dumaluan beach. Mukhang okay pa rin naman BBC, yung shore nila pinakamalinis along the stretch. Maganda pa rin yung beach, not as clean as I expected kasi maraming tao that time but I still enjoyed it. Nagenjoy rin 3 yr old ko since mas calm lang ang Dumaluan compared to Alona.

Based sa backread ko dito winner ang South Palms! Will try to book them sa mga travel expos.

Anyone else also tried renting a car for self drive? Ayaw namin mag join ng tours, gusto namin kami bahala sa pupuntahan namin.

We went to Bohol last January 7-9. Tamang chill na trip lang. Dahil 2 lang kami ng husband ko, nagjoiner lang kami sa isang agency for the countryside tour. Puro foreigners kasama namin sa group. 400 per pax yung rate. Sobrang bait ng driver namin. Siya talaga nagvovolunteer na kunan kami ng pics ni hubby, haha. Hubby did not like the food sa Loboc River cruise. I feel na yung experience at view lang talaga binabayaran mo dun. Nagstart yung tour from 10 am at natapos ng 5:30 pm. Kami na lang yung napagod, haha. Hinatid kami sa accomodation namin afterwards.

We stayed for one night pala sa Bolod Beach Resort. Affordable yung room rates niya and sobrang linis ng room. May free breakfast pa na kasama. Recommended ko siya kase konting tumbling lang, nasa beach ka na. On the second day, we stayed naman sa Dumaluan Beach Resort. Dun kami sa kamalig room na aircon. They allow us to check in at 12:30 pm pero pagdating namin sa loob, ang dami pa pala sablay sa room like ang alikabok ng lavatory pati aircon. Yung faucet hindi namin nagamit agad. We had to inform them pa and according to the staff, need daw higpitan ang faucet. Kaloka lang. Sana check muna nila yung room beforehand. Yung water din nila is maalat. Nacompare ko lang kase sa Bolod Beach Resort na katabi lang nila hindi naman maalat ang tubig sa faucet.

We spent the second day just hanging out in the beach. Nag enjoy naman kami kahit low tide kase konti lang yung tao sa Dumaluan beach. We went to Alona beach in the late afternoon. Ang daming tao, mostly foreigners. Bumili din pala kami ni hubby ng BBF ice cream dun sa stall sa Alona. Avocado for hubby and malunggay for me as per recommendation ng nagtitinda.

On our last day, naghire kami ng trike going to Panglao airport. Paid the driver 200 pesos. Nasa 10-15 minutes ang biyahe.

Overall, we enjoyed the trip kahit hindi kami nakapag Panglao island hopping.

Just want to share that I was able to book South Palms at the travel expo last Sunday. They are offering 8,588 per night inclusive of taxes, with roundtrip transfers and 10% of F&B. Was able to haggle din for additional discount since we will be staying for 3 nights. I think its a very good deal na. Tamang chill lang din kasi ang gusto ko.

Next travel expo they will be attending daw is sa Sept na.

^highly recommend South Palms. Breakfast buffet is good. Stayed at the room in front of the 2nd pool (the one closer to BBC). Walked to the small resort past BBC to eat BBQ and drink avocado shake.
