We also booked Amorita kanina sa Travel Mart. Worth it na yung offer nila compared sa ibang hotels sa Bohol.

Balitaan mo ko please sa trip mo on Nov if ok talaga sa Amorita. mauuna pala kayo samin.

^are your seniors still able-bodied? Location kasi ng Amorita is up a cliff with a stair access to Alona beach. If they can still manage the stairs then they can enjoy Alona beach with all the happenings and restos around anytime. But if medyo hirap na sila, they'll have to take the longer route through the resort's front or just stay at the resort and enjoy its facilities. Mas gumanda na ang Amorita since they recently renovated.

10:00AM - ETA in Tagbilaran port (mas ok ba kung mag rent kami ng car para me susundo or marami namang cab doon na pupunta sa Alona area? How much kaya ang fare?)

Balicasag/Virgin Island Tour - ok pa ba siya isama sa iti or mas ok na mag chillax na lang sa beach?

Yes sis nakakalakad naman yung mga seniors na kasama namin.
Pero medyo mabagal narin.
Ilang steps ba yung stairs sa Amorita and anong pwede marecommend na pwede kainan.
Nakakasawa naman kasi if puro sa AMorita lang kami kakain and medyo mahal for sure.

And gaano kalayo ang amorita from Tagbilaran airport?

^^maraming taxis na nag-aabang tuwing meron arrival sa pier. Yun lang unahan din since marami din pasahero ang mga ferries. Expect to pay from Php600-700 one way (meter amount X 2). Kung gusto nyo ng konting tipid but a bit of an uncomfortable ride meron din mga tricycles, expect to pay around Php300-400.

Or if you need supplies before going to the resort, you can take a tricycle to BQ at the city center (Php20/pax I think). From there mas marami ng transpo to Alona (bus, tricycle, taxi). For the bus terminal, ask for directions na lang.

^maraming choices of restaurants at Alona beach. The private stair access of the resort to the beach is not steep so kaya naman. Pagod lang if you have to climb up and down for your meals.

Airport to Amorita is roughly 35 to 45 minutes drive away.

Newbie here. I booked a family room in Henann hotel this coming november. Has anyone here tried the family room of this resort? Is it located on the 1st floor or near one of the pool areas? This will be our (my husband and I with our 3 kids) first time in bohol, thanks to Air Asia I only paid a total of 1700 all in round trip fare for all 5 of us. Is there a free boat ride going to isola di francesco? Where can we buy cheap peanut kisses? TIA

hi sis! BBC is way better po. The white sand is in really nice and secluded na rin siya kahit magkakatabi sila ng South Palms at Dumaluan beach resort, same shore lang sila. Meron ngang guard dun na nagbabantay para sabihan yung ibang nagsstroll na lampas na sila sa boundaries. tee hee!..
sa Bellevue kasi medyo mabato saka malayo. Sa kabilang part pa siya malayo sa Panglao proper. 

^ Sis ajyne thats a very good deal sis! Nice to hear na Air asia is really competing with cebu pacific in shelling out promo fares like that! I never experienced Hennan's room but the shore is shared lang along Alona beach. A bit crowded IMO. They have private beach beds though.
I am not so sure whether you can access Isola de Francesco now kasi nabili na po siya, privately owned na siya and nung magpunta kami dun sa Virgin Island nitong April, (magkatabi sila sis pwdeng lakarin kapag low tide) napansin ko parang gumagawa ng private runway. perhaps sa private planes and choppers..
Cheap peanut kisses can be bought sa BQ mall. Mahal sa labas promise. We purposely headed to tagbilaran city 4 hours before our flight to buy pasalubong and frozen longganisa etc. Just ask them to have the items boxed. Bring your own paper and pentel pen, then you can have it  check in na sa plane! no need for repacking and all!    Hope this helps!

^Bellevue is also in Panglao. Probably you meant opposite side of Panglao where Alona beach is. The side of Bellevue is the same side as Panglao Island Nature Resort (PINR), somewhat facing Cebu. Pero magkalayo both resorts, distance-wise PINR is nearer to Tagbilaran while Bellevue is malapit na sa dulo ng Panglao towards St. Augustine church (favorite church of mga out of town weddings).

Actually the Virgin island tour being touted is just a sand bar illegaly named Virgin island where illegal food vendors set up stalls overcharging visitors. The Coast Guard and DOT even posted a warning about this fake wannabe island. The real Virgin island is the privately owned Isola di Francesco which is free to the public. Dati as in bare lang ito but was developed into a prayer garden-island devoted to Padre Pio.

My Mom's visitors were at the Isola just this July and the boat shuttle was still free. I'll get back here if there are any changes.

Re peanut kisses and other food pasalubongs, I'll be back in Bohol at the end of this month. I'll post the prices and where to buy the cheapest in Tagbilaran when I get back.

Mama Squeak! If it's not too much to ask please let us know san namin makikita yun free shuttle and schedule going to isola de francesco. We are a devotee of Saint Pio kaya we really wanted to pay visit when we get to bohol. TIA😊

^just go to the back of the Saint Augustine church. The free boat shuttle starts at 8am and departs every 30 minutes. Everything is free in the island and they even serve snacks. If you're happy with the visit, do leave a love offering/donation.

Hi mga sis. We will be in Bohol again by Feb 2017.. Galing kaming Cebu. May hotel na kami sa cebu and talked to
a guy na nagpaparent ng innova kasi may kasama kaming seniors e. Need mag sasakyan.

so ayun.. may tanong lang ako.. 2014 pa kasi last na punta namin ng bohol. we stayed at DBR2.
Superior room kinuha namin.. Im planning to stay again there kahit may kaunting negative feedback ako sa DBR2
nun 2014.

1) I heard na may rental fee yun aqua shoes kapag magsnorkel ka sa balicasag? magkano yun per head ba yun?
Is it worth it ba kapag Feb e mag sea tour pa kami? Last time kasi we went there January kakaunti lang din nakita nilang dolphins daw.
di kasi kami sumama dahil maliliit pa yun anak ko.

2) Ok kaya ang deluxed room ng DBR2? Im gpoing to check the next travel expo on Oct sa SMX and check BBC
rate baka makakuha ako ng 5k per night pede na siguro.

3) sa BBC ba, pedeng takas ang ibang kasama sa room? Like hindi ko na dedeclare na apat na adults
kami sa room. will bring our own mat para dun mag sleep yun iba. makakalusot kaya kami?
sa Hennan daw kasi nakakalusot even Bellevue.. Kaso parang mas gusto ko padin ang beach sa Dumaluan e.

Hello. Anyone knows kung saan pwede magpunta ng Bohol kahit limited time lang? We'll be going there on Sept 26-30 for a seminar. Our arrival is Sept. 26, 4pm. May mapupuntahan pa ba kami nun? Our departure is Sept. 30 4pm.

Any suggestions kung saan kami makakapasyal ng Sept. 26 ng hapon and the whole day of Sept 30?

If our seminar finishes early on the 29th, maybe we can make a sidetrip din.

I've been to Bohol but I'm not very familiar with the commute since we were a large group then. Maybe someone can recommend which places to go and how? Thanks
