Si kuya naldix nag service sa amin sis. Maaga kami doon 6am nasa dagat na kami, maalon lang talaga that time kaya walang nagpakita na dolphins sabi ni mamang bangkero. Sa Virgin Island, doon lang kami sa labas sa may floating palengke. Hindi pwede lumapit that time kasi may nagbabantay sa island.

Ay! Ingat kayo dyan sa Virgin island tour ha. Yung sinasabi nila na Virgin island tour na may bayad kuno is just a sand bar na may nag set up na mga illegal food stalls/vendors. Kakuntsaba nyan yung mga boat man tapos ang mahal ng benta nila ng pagkain.

Yung legal or totoong Virgin island is privately owned and known by the name Isola di Francesco. Libre ang entrance dito. Meron din silang libre na shuttle (boat) service. They also serve simple snacks na you pay via honor system. The island is filled with religious statues so parang prayer garden.

So if the boatman offers a Virgin island tour be sure to ask saang Virgin island.

^^^Oh, I learned about this too late! I got my boatman from Kuya Tatsky and dun nga kami dinala sa fake Virgin Island. Hindi naman masyado mahal yung food, I remember nagsisi husband ko na hindi siya dun bumili ng coconut. It costs 40 pesos there while its priced at 60pesos in Alona. Anyway, mahal pa rin coz here in Rizal, 20 pesos lang siya haha. Its just sad that we werent able to go to the real Virgin Island.

fake virgin island sells 30php softdrinks, 25php buko, 20 sea urchin etc. dadalhin ka nila dun after mo magsnorkel sa balicasag kaya tipong gutom na gutom ka na talaga

Dati kasi pagtapos ng snorkeling, meron dun fresh seafood tapos mamimili ka ng luto. May kubo na dun sila nakatira at tagaluto din sila sa mga turista. Grabe sa sarap!

@soulflygirl, I usually take Oceanjet kasi maraming trips so marami choices. But you can also check Weesam and 2Go.

@tomatostellar, meron naman na DOT desks plus tourism police sa Tagbilaran and Alona area.
Re your other Qs, countryside tour usually mga 5-6 hours. Depende na lang sa inyo kung magtatagal kayo sa mga sites. Sea/island hopping tour same-same lang.

Dumaluan to airport is roughly 35-45 minutes. Sa Tagbilaran lang kayo medyo matraffic but not as bad as Manila's.

Re the promo, not worth it to stay overnight sa Chocolate hills. try to compute rin, overnight stay sa Choc Hills resort let's say nasa 2-3K for two plus 2K for any of the offered tours. Lalabas pareho lang. I'd rather stay in a beach resort para after the tour chill ka lang sa beach. But if gusto mo ma-iba then pwede mo try yung promo.

I'm back in Bohol since the weekend. What a pleasant change in weather after Manila's non-stop rain! A bit cloudy but most of the days are nice, warm and sunny! Perfect beach weather!

^generally laging maganda weather dito. Bihira lang bina-bagyo because of its location. Naka-shield kasi si Cebu sa kanya. If ever ulan lang but no strong winds. Hopefully you'll get the perfect beach weather when you visit next month.
