Just got back from our 3d2n Bohol getaway. Narealize ko na tama lang yung decision namin ni hubby na magavail ng tour package, medyo mahirap magcommute since magkakalayo yung ibang spots na gusto namin puntahan. We initially planned to have a DIY tour pero dahil limited ang time namin, nag-avail na lang kami ng countryside tour + accommodation (Whites and Greens) from Kuya Naldix. We skipped the island hopping.

Super laid back ng ambience sa Panglao, specifically sa Dumaluan beach though medyo maraming seaweeds. Perfect escape pa rin siya from the hustle and bustle of Manila. Here are some of my observations:

- Medyo disappointed ako sa Hinagdanan Cave, I wasn't expecting na ganun siya kaliit. Pero crystal clear talaga ang water sa loob at nakakaaliw rin yung guide namin.
- Ginagawa pa yung viewing deck ng Chocolate Hills, medyo delikado but still, the hills' formation did not fail to amaze us.
- Marami kaming old churches na nadaanan pero nasira nung lumindol tapos unti unting nirerestore ngayon like Loboc Church and Sta. Monica (Alburquerque Church). Teary eyed yung driver/guide namin nung nagkwekwento siya about the earthquake.
- Naenjoy namin yung Loboc River Cruise because of the scenery. There was nothing special about the food.
- Medyo sad kami kasi 7 tarsiers lang pala yung makikita sa Tarsier Conservation Area. According to the volunteers, a hundred other tarsiers are kept for feeding and breeding.
- In fairness, marami akong natutunang bago sa Habitat Bohol (Butterflies Conservation Center), gaya ng hindi pala butterfly ang Mariposa but a certain kind of moth. Feeling ko elementary student ako na nasa field trip
- Sa pasalubong, pinakamura bumili ng delicacies like peanut kisses and Donna's chunki nuts sa supermarket ng Bohol Quality mall. Sa shirts and other souvenir items, mura sa baba ng chocolate hills at sa labas ng Hinagdanan Cave.

Yan lang naman yung iba sa mga napansin ko. We'll definitely come back and visit the other towns.

^Mainit nung first day (June 14) namin. Umulan the next morning (June 15) pero saglit lang, we started with the countryside tour at around 8am, maganda naman ang panhon. Medyo umambon lang nung mga 12noon pero saglit lang din, and sakto nasa kotse kami papuntang Loboc River. Tapos today, hindi naman umulan

Oh man. I booked dumaluan for our bohol trip. Nagdadalawang-isip nga ko kung South palms or dumaluan but ended up sa dumaluan... Huhu...

Sa mga nag stay sa dumaluan dyan, maganda din ba? Haha...

Hi sis! Yes maganda sa dumaluan! Mas tahimik dun compared sa alona beach. Alona is like boracay- madaming restobars, crowded.msa dumaluan, the sand is really powdered white like station 1 in boracay. The rooms are affordable too and breakfast are fine.

They share the same shore - dumaluan beach resort, bohol beach club, and south palms. Pero may mga guard so hindi ka basta makakapasok sa property and i must say, still, may privacy ka. 
Hindi kami nakatawid sa souh palms kasi mahigpit yung guard that time.

@yanah12 ako 100 lang naibigay ko lol. kasi 2400 yung bayad namin sa van so ginawa kong 2500 sobrang happy ni Kuya Tatsky. Tapos sya din kinuha namin sa service papuntang port pero idinaan nya muna kami sa hinagdanan cave kasi hindi na kami umabot the day before

hello there!
next month na ang tour namin pero wala pa final accommodation.

1st -cebu tour ; ferry to bohol
2nd day - countryside tour
3rd day - beach bumming
4th - going back to manila

we are 8adults (2seniors) and 5kids

questions:
1. we plan to stay at alonaland since they have family room with kitchen and accessible to alona. any feedback lalo na at may kasama kami kids. or can you recommend other resort na pwede magluto?

2. 1st day after ferry pahinga na lang sa resort, can we ask the service na dumaan kami where we can have dinner? any recommendations?

3. saan okay magbeach bumming (day tour) dumaluan or alona? also ano name resort, how much? from alonaland, paano kami punta to dumaluan? habal habal or need pa ba magrent ng van?

4. bohol bee farm, may day tour po ba dito, how much from alona to bbf? or much better include na lang sa countryside tour?

^re dinner on your arrival, ask your sundo before mo ikontrata kung pwede kayo dumaan sa mga kainan. Marami naman kayo madadaanan along the way. If type nyo yung parang Matias BBQ sa Cebu, padaan kayo sa Acacia along Inting avenue.

Kung di naman papayag mag-antay yung sundo nyo while you're having dinner, maraming restaurants sa Alona kung saan kayo mag-stay. Meron din Payag (Joe's Inato chicken) dun.

Re day tour, nasa Alona na kayo so dun na lang kayo mag-beach bumming libre pa. Yun lang dami lang tao. But if you want to see Dumaluan, marami rin na for hire na sasakyan sa Alona or patulong kayo sa resort ninyo.

I was in Bohol last month. It was 3days/2 night trip for 2 pax
We stayed in Dumaluan. Maganda shoreline and ganda ng Whitesand ng Bohol.
Here's our ITI
Day 1: Oslob to Panglao. Yes meron po. Kung galing kayo Oslob kasi yun last na ITI namin sa Cebu meron bangka pa Panglao diretso. Just as locals in Oslob where kasi di ko alam anong baranggay yun. Check in sa hotel. Nung nagpunta kami dun low tide. May sand bar and sobrang natuwa ako sa mga sea animals na nakita ko sa shore. Fresh pa yung Bohol shore unlike Boracay.
Day 2: City Tour with Kuya Tatsky. Whole day tour. 2.1k car tour for 2 pax. Driver namin si Kuya Arvin. Dinner then tambay and swimming sa pool.
Day 3: Relax relax sa beach. We decided babalik kami and we will try Island Hopping. Wala na din budget.  . Flight back to Manila

Sayang nga di kami nakapunta ng Alona Beach. Sa Dumaluan lang kami nag dinner. Medyo pricey pero masarap naman.

hi sisses! i'll be travelling to bohol next year with my then 7 year old daughter but am already starting to plan our trip as early as now.

what activities kaya ang pwede naming gawin? below yung mga naisip ko. okay kaya to?

day 1: countryside tour
            check in sa hotel
day 2: island hopping
day 3: check out from the hotel
           check in sa beachfront hotel
            beach bumming
day 4: beach bumming
            flight back to manila

feeling ko pwede pang mag add sa day 2 and 3 but not sure kung ano pa pwede naming i-add.

for accommodation naman, which is better bohol bee farm or loboc river resort? which is more kid friendly and mas mae-enjoy ng 7 yr old kid? for the beachfront hotel, thinking of south palms if i have the budget, if not, any suggestion on a more affordable beach resort? tia!

^I would check-in at a beach resort instead of a city hotel as there is nothing much to see in Tagbilaran. I'd do this IT instead:

Day 1 - ideally arrive on the first morning flight. Diretso na kayo countryside tour.
            Check-in at your beach resort around 4-5PM.

Day 2 - Island hopping/beach bumming

Day 3 - beach bumming/visit Bohol Bee Farm for lunch or dinner maybe

Day 4 - beach bumming/back to MNL.

Back read ka on this thread and the previous ones to get tips and suggestions.
