@yanah12 marami talagang tao pag weekend since they are public beaches. If you are checked in at any of the resorts there ang advantage mo is you have their facilities i.e. lounge chairs to enjoy while relaxing. Other than that you share the beach with everyone else.

@babyastig, Bellevue is located at Doljo bale opposite side of the island where Alona is located. Bandang dulo na yan ng Panglao. If you'll be arriving in the morning better go straight for the countryside tour. Yan naman ang usual arrangement sa mga tours, they pick you up at the airport upon your arrival in the morning then tour na. After they will take you to your resort. Ang included sa tour payment is pick up airport, tour then drop off at the resort (dapat all in the same day).

Transpo Doljo to Alona, tricycle or habal-habal. Just ask the hotel concierge for assistance. Sorry no idea lang how much it will cost. Travel between places roughly 15-20 minutes. While Tagbilaran to Doljo is 45 minutes.

@hakunamatata, maraming choices ng accommodation. Check na lang agoda or tripadvisor.

we stayed at South Palms, and during that one Saturday na maraming tao, they stayed at that part of the beach infront of dumaluan resort. hindi nag pupunta sa part ng BBC and SP ang mga tao so the beach area infront of the two resorts guest nadoon except for the very few ones na naglalakad lakad sa shoreline who are based on what we saw, looks like tourist from out of town or country

Also, worth it ba puntahan ang Mag-aso falls? Tour lang, no swim. They quoted me kasi 2k car rental pag Mag-aso falls.

The duamluan hotel is very close to south palms - magkahilera lang and walking distance lang also

^^ re Mag-aso falls, check with your guide ha kung malakas pa rin yung agos ng tubig kasi state of calamity na rin sa Bohol. Marami ng dams that area mababa na water level. So far okay pa naman supply ng water sa Panglao.

Hi. Which is the best: Hennan, BBC or South Palms? Or can you recommend other hotel? We're group of 6. 5 adults and 1 kid. Picturesque sana kasi mahilig magpapicture ang mga kasama ko at malinis ang rooms and facilities. Syempre, with pool dahil sa batang kasama namin. Thank you.

Depends on your preference because all the resorts you mentioned have a pool, in Hennan's case mga pools. If you want a lively location with lots of shops and restos nearby, go for Hennan in Alona beach. But if you want quiet, wide expanse beach area go for South Palms or BBC in Bolod. Between SP and BBC, I'll go for the former.

Which is better Alona beach or Pangalo beach? We will be staying in Bohol for 2 days and 1 night only because it's Cebu-Bohol tour. Saan ba mas convenient when it comes to one day land tour in Bohol and ferry port accessibility.

Just got back from Bohol trip...... We stayed at Bellevue.... kunti lang yun tao...few tourist and local.... So, the beach is like semi-private.... Very very shallow lang yun water if travelling with kids... Eto yun gusto ko.... Tahimik talaga.  But you need to have a service.... yun lang.
While sa Alona beach...eto yun madaming tao during night time...lahat puro foreigners.... Lively.... bands...drinks....paluto....ang dami....

I arranged guided tour thur Kuya Tatsky and super sulit.....Land and Sea.....

mga sis, medyo ot. ang flight ko papuntang cebu eh may 9, election day. tapos may 11 papunta na kaming bohol. nagdadalawang isip na ko if itutuloy ko pa kasi election period. i'm scared na sa dami ng karahasan sa atin tuwing eleksyon. okay lang kaya yun sis? ano maisasuggest ninyo? undecided talaga ako, huhu. pero gustung gusto ko pumunta ng bohol.

back to topic: nagpaquote pala ako kay kuya tatsky ng countryside tour para sa dalawang tao. 2.1 k na pala rate niya pag car. reasonable na din in fairness.

may nakapagstay na ba sa acacia sunset village inn? if dun kami magstay, saan pinakamalapit na beach kung saan kami pwede magrelax lang? sa countryside tour lang talaga ako interested, then i'm planning to allot one day for beach relaxation lang.

another option ko pa pala is bohol coco farm. any sis na nakapagstay na dito?

Ang ETA namin to bohol os 2:30pm. Since d naman kami pwede mag Tour na ng ganyan time, ask ko lang if may magandang puntahan near the airport? City ba to? May mga pasyalan kaya dito?

Or kung wala baka mag lakad lakad nalang kami sa dumaluan kung saan kami magstay. Haha

Then may 1 day free day kami. OK kaya mag Cebu kami nito? Or hassle lang?

we are heading to bohol by june 2 with 2 kids and hubby. plan to stay one night sa southpalms then the next 2 nights sa alona beach na. dito na kami manggaling for the countryside tour and maybe will skip the sea tour na lang sabi ni hubby. pero i myself parang gusto ko pa rin makita the sandbar at virgin island and hopefully kung may dolphin din sana for the kids. torn ako if we will do the sea tour or not...
