i got my maternity benefit na last friday. 15k. half pa lang un, i think. after siguro manganak and makapag pasa ng MAT2, tsaka pa lang ibibigay ng company ko yung other half.

32k ang max ng sss Mat benefit ngayon. Got mine in full last month.

Bakit meron half meron ding full? Wala akong kilalangg nabuntis dito sa company kaya wala ako idea. Ang alam ko lang ay 60 days yung maternity leave pag normal tapos 75 days ata pag CS.

^depende ata sa company sis. When i filed my mat1 sabi sakin ng HR namin 10 days before my due date bibigay na nila sakin yung half and then the other half after I filed na my mat2.

^^ideally if you're employed inaadvance ng employer ang sss benefit tapos pag nanganak ka na saka nila irereimburse yun sa sss. Some companies do that -- advance your half muna, then pag nanganak na at registered na ang birth certificate ni baby, saka nila ibibigay yung other half. Some companies naman they give you the full benefit as soon as you submit your maternity notification. If voluntary member ka naman, you can only claim your benefit once registered na ang birth certificate ng baby. Isasubmit mo lang yun sa sss and then isesend nila sayo yung cheke mo once available.

To those who already gave birth and are to apply for SSS benefits, you need to have a bank account under your name.  It's a new policy from SSS.  They'll deposit your benefit on your account and not the usual thing where they send the checks through mail.  This is for voluntary, self employed and separated from employers.

^If you are still employed hindi ka pa puwede mag-update ng separated from employer kasi technically you are still employed.

mga sis, stupid question lang..hindi naman ibabawas sa 13th month ko ang 2mos na ml ko diba?
and nakita ko sa philhealth ko wrong spelling ang middle name ko, will it affect kaya pag nanganak na ko? baka hindi nila consider..

^sis you can do either. Mag voluntary ka pwede ka magpay ng Apr-June na quarter. Pwede din na ideclare ka as dependent ng husband mo. Same benefits lang. Ang magiging difference lang is hindi ka na magiging contributing member pag dependent ka. So if magwork ka ulit papa change status ka ulit.

nagpunta na ako ng philhealth last june30. much better daw na magbayad ako for 2 quarters para mas sure. so nagpay ako ng april to september para covered ang birth month.

sis Lady Czarina: that's how 13th month pay is basically computed not unless may agreement and nasa contract.  Like sa company namin, paid anf ML namin (on top of SSS maternity benefit) kaya buo pa rin na nabibigay 13th month kahit nag ML.  Same computation din sa 14th pay namin.

Regarding Philhealth, mas maganda kung mapaayos mo na rin lalo ngayon preggy ka, advantage ang priority lane.
