Hi sissy! Want to share my experience. I filed last April 4. And Approved last April 28. As per checking on my SSS account online. Settled na po ang status. I tried to follow up sa SSS Hotline. Then they advice na i-monitor ko daw this week until next week. Kasi after settled date may 8-10 banking days pa daw to process ang payment thru bank. Update ko kayo pag pumasok na sa account ko. 3rd day ng 8-10 banking days ko ngayon
I'm separated from my employer. I submitted all the requirements needed. Kaya mabilis lang ang process

I have already received my benefits in my bank account. Deposited yesterday (May 17,2016)

They told me at sss na wait ng 8 to 10 banking days from the date they settled it. And as fast as Im expecting mas mabilis sya sa inaasahan ko. Bank ko is BDO. And the good thing is they called me (BDO) to inform na deposited na sya kahapon pa. If thru bank I suggest BDO. You can advice them once na may pumasok sa account mo at pwede ka nila tawagan.

^^Super agree talaga sis. Saka not everyone knows about the 5 day rule. Di naman kasi karaniwan magsick leave nang super tagal. For first time mom like me, ofcourse the first person to know that ill be on bedrest for more than a month is my superior. He wont tell me naman na "oh file mo sss sickness notification mo within 5 days para maapprove" syempre once nagpaalam na sa boss, bedrest na. Uunahin pa ba natin yun kesa sa condition natin.

Re: SSS sickness benefit, nakapag file ako nito kahit 3-4 weeks na ata akong bed rest. Ni-reason nalang ni hubby nong tinanong sya sa SSS kung bakit late file na, wala kasing time mag-file [textspeak!] company namin since kulang kami sa tao. 3 months yong nilagay ko sa form na nakabedrest ako pero ang na-approved lang is 12 days since late na nga. Pero sulit na rin.

Re: Philhealth, by the time kasi na manganganak ako, resigned na ko sa work, kaninong philhealth ang pwedeng gamitin? Sa akin or kay hubby?

Re philhealth, alam ko pwede gamitin yung sayo as long as updated yung contribution mo. Or kay hubby mo basta declared ka na dependent nya

^ 20 days ang na-approved sis, tapos ni-double check siguro, naging 12 days nalang, may note kasi na late filling katabi ng 12 days.

Ah ok sis, 'yong philhealth claim form ba san manggagaling sa ospital or office? Kung sa office pwede ko na siguro papirmahan bago ako magresigned para di na babalik?

^sis as far as i know pwede kunin ang CF1 sa employer. Papirmahan mo na din sa kanila yung part ng employer para pagdating sa hospital bill automatic na nila ibabawas yung benefits. Yung saken ganun ginawa ko. Humingi na ko sa employer ko ng certificate of contribution + CF1 for me and baby + MDR. Although, hinonor din ng hospital yung voluntary contribution ko from jan-march. Nagresign na kasi ako ng january so nag voluntary status na ko sa philhealth. Pag voluntary contribution, receipt of payment lang ang kelangan ng hospital, tapos yung CF1 sa hospital na kukunin. CF2 naman will come from your OB and baby's pedia.

Yung sa amin, 5.5k ang binawas sa hospital bill, 4.2k sa PF ng OB, 500 sa PF ng pedia, tapos 1550 sa bill ni baby. So total din ng 11,750 na philhealth benefit. Normal delivery pala ko. Ang alam ko mas malaki bawas pag CS.

^sis yung certificate of contribution ba dapat up to date pag sinubmit sa hospital? kasi iniisip ko kung magrerequest na ba ako sa employer ko nito kahit sa july pa ang due date ko. hindi ba too early? baka kasi may validity ito. yung CF1 for baby, ikaw nalang nag fill up ng info sis? pano yun blank form nung binigay sayo? sorry sa noob questions. thanks in advance!

^sis, are you with the same company pag nanganak ka? Yung saken kasi kinailangan ko lang ng cert of contribution kasi hindi updated ang contribution ko sa philhealth account ko, nireremit ng employer ko pero hindi sya na-aupdate sa number ko. Ang alam ko kapag updated naman yung contribution mo di na kelangan nun. Also, sa pagkaintindi ko, pag employed ka, kelangan ng at least 6 months contribution sa loob ng 12 months prior to the month of delivery. So if ever kailanganin mo ng cert of contribution, kelangan lang nakalagay dun yung months na nagremit si employer mo. So kung July ang due date mo, for sure naman meron kang at least 6 months na contribution.

Yung CF1 pag sa hospital kinuha, blank form lang sya, so kelangan mo lang i fill out. Bale philhealth details mo lang naman ang kelangan dun at signature. Kung employed ka, kelangan may pirma din yung sa part ng employer. So kelangan bago kayo madischarge, signed na yun para i-honor nila.!If voluntary member naman, blank na lang yung sa part ng employer.

Bale 2 CF1 ang i-fifill out, one for mommy and another for baby, kasi idedeclare mo sya as dependent mo.

^thanks sa reply. yes sis same company ako. since july ako manganganak, baka kako kailangan makitang may contribution ako atleast for june. kaya kinoconsider ko kung kelan ako magrerequest nitong docs sa office.

Nag resigned ka rin pala bago manganak. Plano ko rin kasi mag resign bago ako manganak, if ever mag voluntary na lang ako sa Philhealth, pwede na yong receipt of payment, no?

Ang laki pala ng nabawas sayo ng Philhealth sis. Nakwento kasi ng OB ko at nabasa ko rin sa ibang forum, nasa 1,500 lang daw ang mababawas ng philhealth sa bill pag normal delivery.

Sa nababasa ko naman before, total of 7k yata pag nsd, parang 5.5k sa hospital bill tapos 1.5k sa PF ng doctor. Pero ayun, very helpful din yun almost 12k na nabawas.

Anyone can confirm po? may nabasa kasi ako pag scheduled CS wala ka makukuha Philhealth is that true? any difference sa benifets pag scheduled or emergency CS, thanks in advance!

^not true. Scheduled CS ako then naging emergency CS, got my benefits naman walang labis walang kulang.

According to PhilHealth's official website, confinement due to sickness or for an operation while abroad is still covered by member's compensation. Reimbursement may be filed within a grace period of 180 days or 6 months at any PhilHealth local office through the member's authorized representative.

Documents needed to claim the reimbursement are the following:

• Fully accomplished PhilHealth Claim Form 1 duly signed by the member or his authorized representative;
  Photocopy of MDR or latest receipt;
  Medical certificate with complete diagnosis, period of confinement and services rendered; (should be in English)
  Statement of Account and/or Official Receipts with itemized charges; and other supporting documents (should be in English).

For SSS, hope you have your online account so you can file for your maternity notification. Submission of documents will be similar to that of Philhealth.  Visit na lang sss website for the list for either normal/CS delivery so you can prepare.

23 weeks preggy na ko and since feb, nakabed rest na ko as advised by my ob. (threatened abortion, pero ok naman kami ni baby)

sa philhealth, nabasa ko is i needed to have 3 months contribution before my due date? tama ba ang pagkakaintindi ko? kasi kung ganun, sure na wala akong contribution dahil bed rest na ko til manganak. (currently on MLOA)

1.can i pay as voluntary na lang for myself before manganak?

or

2. ipaadd ko na lang sarili ko as dependent ni husband para makapagclaim ako ng philhealth?

by the way, nakapagclaim ako sa sss ng 2 months sickness benefit na din. so may 2 months pa akong pwedeng ifile sa kanila. this was advised by my ob.

^sis you can do either. Mag voluntary ka pwede ka magpay ng Apr-June na quarter. Pwede din na ideclare ka as dependent ng husband mo. Same benefits lang. Ang magiging difference lang is hindi ka na magiging contributing member pag dependent ka. So if magwork ka ulit papa change status ka ulit.

Pag nagsubmit ba ng MAT1 sa SSS online, wala ng hihingin na documents? Kasi online ako nag-file, EDD lang ang hiningi ng website.
