^ Sis I've been to both. here are my takes

Picasso is okay. although your theme might not match the artsy feel of the hotel. for example, if you're looking to have a vintage type wedding, medyo hindi match tingnan na modern artsy feel yung background and you're wearing vintagy gown.. pero the rooms are spacious and maganda talaga. very expensive looking pero it's not that mahal naman.

Aruga, it's like a condotel type pero upscale. and I think if you'll consider all the suppliers that would come to your room on your wedding day, mas okay sakanila here than Picasso kasi they'll have more room to move (for a two br unit). plus the interior of the rooms are nice. downside is super liit ng lobby. mas konti yung photo op spots nya unlike sa Picasso, may super lapit kasi na park so it can be added sa shots ng photo-vid mo. Plus you'll have to secure a permit ahead of time if you want to take pictures in the pool area.

Booked Midas Hotel & Casino for my wedding preps! No regrets! The staff are very nice. And I got a free upgrade for my room. Super laki ng na-save namin and sobrang ganda ng room na binigay sa amin.

Hello, newbie here.  Has anyone tried booking Aruga the Grove for the wedding preps? I'm a CTK bride and I'm having second thoughts about Eastwood Richmonde because of the price and I read that they're very strict.

Sissies, any graduate bride who had their preps at Eastwood Richmonde hotel? Strict ba talaga sila? Any idea sa preps charge? Pero honestly, yung staircase lang talaga gusto ko dun maganda kasi sa pictorial. I'm also eyeing, Aruga and Oakwood pero medyo malayo naman, sobrang traffic pa naman ngayon

Has anyone tried booking Oakwood Premier through agoda or booking.com?  When we inquired directly from them, their rate will set us back for around 30K (that's already with the 20% early bird discount  and considering taxes).  But when I checked agoda rates, the exact rooms were eyeing will cost only around 19K.  What if we get their membership, malaki din ba masesave? Thanks. :-)

Hello! May nakatry na ba sa Parque Espana sa may Alabang? It's a residence hotel so pwede magluto at hindi masyado strict sa # of guests per room.

Is it better to book Edsa Shang through booking or agoda?
Or do we need to get a quotation directly from them? Kasi we want din mag-take ng photos sa ibang areas ng hotel, hindi lang sa room.

^Edsa Shang requires you to get permits for your P/V teams in order to shoot. You should probably email them to ask first, before booking. In the permit they sent me, it says you can only shoot around the hotel if you've booked rooms or an event worth 50K, otherwise there's a fee of 25K-- they waived this for me though, since we booked 4 rooms and a suite.

Edited: Forgot to mention, you might want to check if there are any promos before you book. My family was able to book rooms at cheap rates last year, during the BDO promo.

Usually mas mura rates sa Agoda. Maybe you can book with Agoda and then arrange the photog permit through the reservations desk.

This is what I did. I booked my rooms via Agoda kasi cheaper even with the discounted wedding rates. Tapos I informed na lang my AE that I booked through Agoda. Lahat ng additional costs will be settled outside of Agoda.

Haha maybe better yung advice ni Stella. In my situation kasi my hotel is also my reception venue so there were no issues with the permits etc.

Hi sissies! May naka try na po ba dito sa Madison 101, Diamond Hotel, Fraser Makati or Lancaster Mandaluyong? I inquired sa Madison, nakakatuwa kasi super affordable kaso mukhang maliit ang place? Parang sa room lang pwede mag photoshoot. Sa Diamond naman, affordable but we're trying pa din na mapababa yung budget pero mukhang maganda mag photoshoot. Allowed naman daw ang photoshoot basta i-advise lang daw ang hotel before check-in and hindi sila mahigpit sa dami ng suppliers sa room, 4pm ang check-out so ideal for afternoon weddings. pero di pa kami nakapag ocular visit.
