6.  Scope of work - prepares food for the kids, cleans up after the kids, watches them (mostly the 3 year old kasi malaki na yung 8 year old), takes the 3 year old to play school, cooks for the family sometimes (i cook naman kasi).

1.  Basic Salary - 5k (I maintained lang her salary, she used to be the maid of my lola but then she passed away). Then my mom gives her P500 extra each month just so wala siyang masabi. So bale P5.5k siya

EMPLOYMENT – TERMS AND CONDITIONS

SEC. 30. Social and Other Benefits.

Premium payments or contributions shall be shouldered by the employer. However, if the domestic worker is receiving a wage of Five thousand pesos (P5,000.00) and above per month, the domestic worker shall pay the proportionate share in the premium payments or contributions, as provided by law.

What does proportionate share mean? Half of the payment or whole na sila magbabayad?
Kasi I got the notion before na sila na yung magbabayad kapag 5k above sweldo nila.

4.  How many days off per month?  Do you allow overnight? - usually she just takes 1-2 days off per month and overnight. but sometimes pag wala kami ni mama sa house, she will take an overnight day off rin and will just go home when nasa bahay na kami (we don't let her hold our house keys kaya dapat maantay niyang pauwi narin kami)

5.  How old is your child? - 6 1/2. she's been the yaya since she was 5yo

6.  Scope of work - cook, clean, laba, market with us, sometimes does the easy assingments ng daughter ko (lex. reading a certain page, or answer 1-2pages of a certain subject if madali lang) and helps me rin with reviewing the easy subjects pagmay test..this usually happens before I get home from work, which is like 30mins lang halos, or 1 easy subject lang like Christian living thats just puro reading lang and values. When I'm at home na, ako na, and syempre the major subjects.

2.  Toiletries included? Yes pero minsan binibilhan ko siya ng shampoo at sabon. Madalas din akong magbigay sa kanya ng kahit ano like freebies from the events etc.

4.  How many days off per month?  Do you allow overnight? She take 2 days off every two months pero depende, maluwag naman ako.

Mahirap talaga kumuha ng yaya and it double the risks if you get your nanny sa agency. We are just lucky lang kasi mabait at trust worthy yung nakuha naming yaya.

sis, i think this means sya na mag-shoulder ng employee share, similar pag nagwo-work sa company. me table ng contributions na naka-reflect magkano employer's share at employee's share. pag below 5K sa kasambahay, the employer shoulders both the employer and employee's shares.

Most kasambahay doesn't stay long so sayang lang ang bayad sa sss kasi di naman nila pinapatuloy. I always give 13th month pay to our househelp though.

Do you have any precautionary measures when hiring yayas/maid in terms of health? Considering, they will be confined in the same house with the baby.

^we had ours undergo an Xray to check for TB and other possible complications. We also asked her to use alcohol every time she enters the room to handle the baby. Yun lang.
