^When I started baking, I only have measuring cups, measuring spoons, hand whisk, spatula and baking pans. Sa baking pans, I have yung pang bread, for cupcakes, baking sheet and a 13 x 9. Eventually, I progress into buying more equipment much to my husband's dismay. Hehe.

Another blog that I stumbled upon is pinoyinoz.blogspot.com. This is my go to for Filipino baking recipes. Her ube macapuno cake is perfect. Perfect talaga everytime I make it. Most of our visitors are asking me for orders. Hehe. But I don't do that so I just promise to make it every time may celebration.

^ I agree sis with pinoyinoz, I tried her fluffy mamon recipe and it's delicious. Very detailed steps and may explanation pa kasama. Very helpful lalo na sa beginners like me. Her mamon recipe did not sink much unlike the mamon recipe from other bloggers.

sis xsugar, I started with cheap measuring cups and spoons spatula, whisk, muffin pan and cheap cookie sheet yung mga aluminum muna. Start muna sa mga cheap tools, pag nagustuhan mo talaga baking, then you can start investing sa mga good quality tools.

I learned the basics kay youtube, and mga articles sa internet. It helps habang wala pa ako budget mag-enroll sa mga baking class :) I'm lucky that my sister is a professional baker so kapag may palpak ako I consult her what went wrong.

Those easy to do recipes ba, yung less ingridients parang ganun pwede kaya sa microwave oven? Parang gusto kong mag simula dun muna.

I bookmarked the site too, thanks sa suggestions!!

I can imagine the dismay of my husband too pag nalaman nya to:)hahahah!

Mura lang sya less than 50 pesos ata :D

Pag microwave, you cannot use aluminum. And pwede lang porcelain/glass baking dish, coffee mug and silicone.

Same with sis momoiro07. if you want to use microwave, better to find recipes na pang microwave talaga. Microwave and a normal oven has different ways of heating up food so baka maiba ang end result mo if you substitute one for the other.

Napakadaming elements ng baking so I would say, just practice and matututo ka din.

just an update: nakabili na ako ng basic for beginners ng ilang tools for baking! na curious ako kasi ng sobra:) spatula, round and square pans, measuring spoons and cups, molders, cupcake pan, whisk, bread pan too.

And i'm planning to buy more like yung thermometer, cupcakes lining, paper sheets and bahala na anong makita kong dapat bilhin. Nakapag save na din ako ng mga easy to bake recipes sa you tube. ganito ako ma-addict pag may nagustuhan akong hobby. good luck sa bulsa ko ;D ;D ;D

Any suggestions san mura mamili ng baking items? I'll be in QC this weekend.

^I use conventional oven so hindi ko sure. I suggest follow the same temperature but check after the 1st 30 minutes.

Also, about sa cupcake liners naman. I'm looking for cupcake liners na ideal for brazo de mercedes. May nakita ako sa lazada kaso from abroad pa pala manggagaling. I was just wondering kung saan meron dito sa Pinas, either online shop or physical store? Meron kaya nun sa Landmark Makati?

I'm referring to this kind of cupcake liners - http://www.lazada.com.ph/50pcs-paper-cake-cup-cupcake-cases-liners-muffin-dessert-bakingpink-owl-3833812.html

TIA!

May nabili akong paper sa trade fair last year ang ganda. Pede pang poach at pede ding liner I just forgot name ng store. Dapat tinandaan ko.
