Which is Witch? na-feel ko din yan sis, round ligament pain nga din yung akin, sa 2nd trimester ko lang din kase to first na-experience. Tinanong ko rin sa OB ko and sabi nya kase bumibigat na si baby, pwede daw ako gumamit ng maternity belt to support my belly.

sis Jeannybaby, alam ko masama din pag sobra ang fluid baka sumobra ang amniotic fluid. Yung wife ng officemate ko sobra amniotic, pinabawasan yung pag-take nya ng water.

Had may OGCT last fri, thank God normal ang result. For OGCT , no need for fasting. Ang OGTT ang need ng fasting. If ever mag-fail ako sa OGCT ang next na pagagawa sa akin is OGTT. After ko makuha ang result kumain ako ng Dairy Queen ice cream, reward ko for job well done

^Onga sis! Nawala na din yung pain finally. Hanggang kahapon lang siya. Wag na sana umulit para di na ko worried. Yehey! buti nalang normal result! Nung ako din, after ko makita na normal, parang gusto ko bigla kumain ng mga matatamis! haha.

Which is Witch - Thank you, sis! Actually, wala sinabi ang main OB ko kelan ang next regular ultrasound namin. Pero like what we did before, itong other OB ang magbibigay ng order for CAS sa follow-up visit ko sa Friday. Not sure when is the best time to have it. Excited na din kami na masiguro ang gender ni baby kasi last time sabi 85% probability male. Regarding sharp pain, I'm glad okay ka na, sis. Naramdaman ko din dati and it went away lang din.

Jeannybaby - Sis, I think it's not about being active ni baby per se but yung mas "sensitive" ako sa movements nya even before 20th week. Siguro ibig sabihin ni OB na kapag konti ang amniotic fluid that surrounds the baby, mas madali maramdaman kahit slight movements nya. I was not able to clarify further pero inom na lang talaga ako ng madaming water kasi guilty din talaga ako dito. At the same time, napansin ko nga din lately na since I started taking in more water, mas naging regular ang frequency and texture ng poops ko, nabawasan din yung pressure sa tummy ko (although baka sa Duvadilan din) pero yun nga, laging busog ang pakiramdam. Hehe. So far, parang hiyang naman ako sa Sorbifer, sis, although parang mas gassy ako lately pero okay na to kesa yung dati na sinisikmura ako at diarrhea talaga.

crzysxycl - Onga, sis, kahit pala di ako kumikilos sa house basta umuupo ng matagal, may effect din sa cervix. Feeling ko kasi yung bigat ng tummy, cervix ang sumasalo. Thank you, sis.

Mga mommies, san banda nyo nafi-feel si baby most of the time? Ako kasi lately parang mas mababa pa tuloy sya, laging just slightly above the pubic line lang. Dati parang mas nagki-kick sya sa left or right side almost at the same level as my belly button. Ang alam ko kasi dapat as we advance, mas mararamdaman sya pataas towards the belly button kasi lumalaki na ang uterus.

Re: driving, di na din ako pinagda-drive ni husband since I became preggy. Yun nga lang, kelangan ko magpigil na wag makialam sa style ng driving nya at baka mabilhan ako ng seatbelt na may busal sa bibig.

Mga mommies, CAS is usually done from 20 weeks onwards. Yung ibang OB pinapagawa yan before 3rd tri, kase most of the organs are developed na at that point (20-28 wks). Yung ibang OB naman they don't like CAS kasi if may makita mang di normal, masstress lang daw ang parents and for the most part eh wala namang magagawa.. So really depende sa OB nyo.

^sis kakakwento ko lang kay hubby about CAS. Sabi ko nababasa ko dito sa GT at excited nako pag pwede nako magpa CAS. Ayaw ni hubby ang nega lang.. hintayin na lang daw paglabas ni baby. Ang labo.

My OB didn't require it as well. I think she only requires it for those 35 and above. I kinda figured stress factor could be one of her reasons as well.

I wanted to but my husband wants to strictly follow my OB's orders. 😀

theEmpress, oonga sis eh, pero ayoko ipush ang sarili ko sa limit ko. kakatakot. hehe. kapag pwede pahinga nalang, pahinga. No choice lang talaga, kaya drive padin. Sabagay, may point ka dyan, hindi mo kilala yung drivers. kaya mas okay narin na ako nalang, sure pa ko, doble ingat na lang.


 Adrienne28, ay ganon, walang percent na binigay sakin. haha. kasi nung una kong pinacheck ang gender, sabi niya boy. tas after non, ultrasound kami after a month, tinanong ko nalang yun doctor, sabi ko, lalaki parin po ba? hehe. oo daw. so for me, confirmed na yun. pag babae ang itinabi saakin sa hospital, baka isipin ko napapalit yun. Haha. Kidding aside, okay lang sakin kahit anong gender, neutral colors lang binibili kong gamit, pero yung mga gifts sakin mga pangboy na. hehe

re CAS, hindi rin sakin nirequire to. Hindi ko pa rin nababanggit kay ob. it's either relief or stress kasi ang effect nun. pero syempre we're all praying na normal lahat pag nagpa CAS

on CAS, meron kasing mga problems na nakikita that can be resolved earlier like surgery while still in the womb or treatment right after birth that might be too late kung hindi alam earlier. kaya i think it still pays to have the CAS.

mommies, nag switch OB ko sa Sangobion, who else is taking the same? grabe kasi ang constipation, as in naiiyak na ako sa hirap :-(

^ yan din tine-take ko sis, ok naman sya. Hinde na din ako nagco-constipate, pero nung first tri ko todo din constipation ko. Try mo mag-oat meal tapos lots of water

^^ thanks aia, baka adjusting pa ako. weird lang kasi now lang in 3rd tri ako na constipate. ma-fiber naman ako sa food. hay, tiis tiis for the baby. :-)

SisWhich, natawa ako dun sa lalaki pa din naman sa second ultrasound. Hehe. Sana nga ganun pa din kami kasi madami na din stuff na pang-boy.

Sis theEmpress -- Hehe, hirap kasi minsan magtiwala sa kapwa driver kahit asawa pa kaya napapagalitan ako ni husband. OA kasi talaga ako when it comes to safety.

Regarding CAS, that's exactly our point din ni husband. Nung una kasi, ang alam namin wala magagawa if ever may abnormal findings, but through further reading and talking to a neonatologist, tulad ng sinabi mo, we learned na may mga conditions na pwedeng ma-resolve perinatally or right after delivery. So while we're praying for a normal and healthy child, we also want to be informed and ready for anything. Siguro we just have to seek kung saang decision may peace sa puso natin.

^^ true sis, feeling ko maloka ako sa mga information and options available. kasi as moms, we want the best for our child. and yung guilt feeling may mali ka lang na magawa is very heavy on the heart.

^Balak ko magprepare ng birth plan Kasama na don yung medical history ko and mga info na usually itatatanong na baka hindi masagot ni hubby kapag nakasalang na ako. Hehe. Although baka scheduled CS naman ako, may chance akong mainterview nung mga nurse. Iniisip ko na ilagay din non na ipabreastfeed agad sakin si baby sa 1st hour after birth niya, nabasa ko kasi dapat ganun daw. Kaso baka sabihin naman nagmamarunong ako. Hehe. Kaw ba sis meron ka na?

^^ meron na sis, pero kelangan pa revise kasi nga ang dami ko pang consider na options. tulad nung time when i want to get pain medication, delayed umbilical cord cutting at yung pagligo kay baby agad. post ko dito pag na final ko na.

Hello mga sis! sobrang tagal na din since i last visited this thread. anyways so happy to know na all of us are progressing well in our pregnancies, though hindi talaga natin maiiwasan magkaroon ng issues from time to time. basta we should always keep in mind the best thing -- that we are still pregnant! lol.

anyways ako naman laging may UTI. kaya i was given probiotics by my ob. based from my experience naman with my 1st child, i ate a lot during my 2nd tri kaya bongga ang heartburn ko nun. worse experience ever. minor inconveniences were leg cramps in the middle of the night, pati yung paggising ko all my fingers were curled. like i would straighten them up one by one.

regarding birth plan naman, i didnt have any with my 1st. i asked earlier if i could have a painless labor pero she discouraged me. during the actual pushing stage na, wala na akong na-feel na pain. they were just coaching me to hold on, i didnt know if i was doing the right thing haha. after 3 apparent pushes, baby was out na hehe. i found out later na lang na i was given anesthesia. and that the anes waived her fees kasi natuwa daw siya sa kadaldalan ko. hindi ko na maalala mga sinabi ko while ob was stitching me up for my episiotomy. basta ginising na lang nila ako when she was done

sis theEmpress, susundin kaya nila yung nakasulat don? hehe. okay din yung delayed umbilical cord clamping at yung pagligo sa baby. may benefits. ang gusto ko din ilagay yung dapat magbreastfeed siya sakin within an hour after birth, kaso paano kaya pag CS talaga ko. hehe. sige sis, share mo yan, baka pwede kopyahin! hahaha

sis gudgurlgonewrong, i didn't know na probiotics will help sa UTI. Pwede na ba yung yakult? or may iba pang pinapainom?

sis Jeannybaby, goodluck sa glucose test. ako hindi mahilig sa matamis, pero lagi ako may extra extra rice. hahaha. good thing i passed the test! Natry ko na yung ibang labs don sa Hi Precision. okay naman Yung glucose test ko nga lang sa Medicard, kasi mas mura siya sa Hi Precision. May mga labs na wala sa medicard na meron sa hi precision kaya minsan don din ako nagpapalab test compared sa mga hospitals, mas mura talaga don

sis WhichisWitch, may binigay sa akin na capsules, OM-X ang brand. though i also read na ok din ang yogurt and of course more water talaga. I was discouraged by my ob with cranberry juice, kasi there have been studies daw na very little lang ang effect niya sa pag-fight ng UTI.

sis SARAHnghae, ideally dapat a month before ng EDD ma-administer ang tetanus toxoid vax, pero with my first hindi na namin nagawa hehe. flu vax lang non, then a day after i gave birth i opted to get yung cervical cancer vax.
