^ sis shegie and crysz, last weekend, my husband also noticed my dark spots that are starting to appear

girls, my brother-in-law (one of my husband's older brothers) sent to us their birth plan and 3 other birth plans of their friends. it's so sweet! he doesn't know if it's done here so he took it upon himseld to send us samples even if we didn't ask. if you would like to take a peek, i can share it through google docs. i just need to upload it when i get to a computer after work today. they are very adamant about doing the birth as naturally as possible so just keep note of that

super mahal talaga ng baby furniture and accessories. para tipid, i invested on the must haves like the car seat and stroller. pero the cot and change table, my hubby got those second hand in good condition. disinfect na lang namin and just bought new matress and change pad. the cot packages here are ridiculously priced. co-sleeper--find a cheaper option o kaya basinette na lang kaya? gusto rin ng co-sleeper/porta cot ni hubby dahil panay kaming umaalis. di pa kami decided kung ano next bibilhin.

Adrienne - nice to know ok si baby boy mo sis. kakatuwa talaga no pag nakikita mong gumagalaw during ultrasound.

shegie - naku sis sinabi mo pa, even my brothers are teasing me about dark spots.. mag calamansi raw ako, haha! yes sis sa harap din placenta ko, excited kasi ako masyado maramdaman yung movements ni baby haha. ah ahead ka pala kay sis aylatskie. same ng position babies natin sis, pahalang din sa akin haha.. sa left yung head, sa right yung feet nya. tingin ko nga parang nakadapa sya. kasi diba sa ultrasound kita rin yung skeleton, napansin ko yung backbone nya nasa taas, kaya nalaman ko nakadapa haha. sa saturday din next check up ko sis, hope ok lahat sa atin.

sis Adrienne28, di ko rin nga gets yung grade grade na yan sa placenta. kala ko pagmay grade low lying, hehe. Eh sayo sabi mo sis high lying naman. So iba nga pala yung meaning nung grade na yan. may need daw ba gawin para iprevent yung pagmamature ng placenta? ano daw cause nun sis?

^ sis belle_v2g, we will be 16 weeks tomorrow.

i haven't felt any kicks yet though i know baby is active based on our last ultrasound - i'm looking forward to feeling them soon!

You'll start to feel them maybe at 17 weeks.
It took a while before i felt the movements during my first pregnancy but for the second one, since I am more aware now, i felt them at an early stage.

Hi mga sis! Galing akong ob kanina. thank God normal lahat ng results nung lab. Yung kinatatakutan kong OGTT , normal naman.😊 pero alam niyo mga sis, before ako magpuntang ob kala ko sablay yung urinalysis ko, normal naman daw sabi ng ob. Also heard baby's heartbeat via doppler kaya tuwa nanaman ako❤️

Di parin ako panatag masyado, kasi bukas ultrasound with fetal doppler studies naman! Another kaba moment! Haha. Im praying na okay pa din ang lahat!💙

I forgot to share. Since may blood typing din don sa ginawang test sakin, nalaman ni OB na magkaiba kami ni hubby ng blood type. Mine is O+ then B+ kay hubby. Nagwarning lang siya na, kapag ang nakuhang blood type ni baby ay yung kay hubby, pwede siyang magka jaundice pagkapanganak due to blood incompatibility nung baby's blood sa mother niya. Need ko daw imention yun sa Pedia agad agad, para mamonitor. kasi severe cases of jaundice may cause mental retardation daw pag di naagapan. Kaya I'm praying na, sana yung blood type ko nalang makuha niya. Di ko alam may ganito pala My hubby was joking about it na lang. Sabi niya, dapat pala bago magpakasal aalamin din yung blood type ng mapapangasawa. hehe Funny, but may point siya. HAHAHA.

sis Which is Witch, good to know ok yung OGTT mo, yan ding test na yan ang kinakatakutan ko. ang lakas ko kasi sa matamis. chocolate, coke ganyan di ko mapigilan. saka isip isip ko para tumaba naman ako kaya kumakain ako ng matatamis kaso 106lbs lang ako kahapon nung check up ko.
napaaga yung check up ko kasi sumasakit yung pempem ko saka balakang ko. sabi ni ob mag pahinga lang daw ako. mga sis na experince nyo na bang sumakit ang pempem nyo? yung parang namamaga?

sis Which is Witch, baiktad naman namin yung blood type nyo sis. ako B+, si hubs O tapos si eldest type O. di ko alam kung may pinag kaiba ang O at O+ pero common ang type O sis kaya dont worry too much.

^sis xadie28, Kinuha lang din yung rhesus factor nung nagpa blood typing ako. yun yung+ or -. pagnirequest mo blood typing with rhesus factor, malalaman mo rin kung plus or minus yung kay hubby. either O+ or O- siya. Thanks sis! medyo nabawasan ang worry ko. Kasi okay naman si eldest mo kahit ang ka blood type niya si hubby mo Goodluck din sa OGTT. Grabe sis! ang gaan mo! ako 142lbs na.hehe

Same here. I'm B+ and hubby is O+. As long as na same rhesus kayo ni baby Wala problema.

120515 - sis, may nakita nga din akong sample birth plans and I think it would be really nice to have one especially if normal delivery, pero parang yung mga mamahaling hospitals lang dito ang usually open sa ganyan. The hospital where I intend to have CS here, di pwede si hubby sa operating room. Although I think yung ibang specifics pwede din i-request like ayokong masyado malamig ang aircon kasi nakakadagdag ng discomfort especially kung may hiwa, stay conscious during operation, etc. Regarding baby's movements, malapit mo na maramdaman yun sis, and as you regularly feel it, lalo ka mae-excite na kausapin na din sya kasi gagalaw sya na para bang nagre-respond na din sayo.

sis crzysxycl, gusto nga ni hubby lagi na kami magpa-ultrasound monthly. Yung lang kasi yung "ramdam" nya si baby. Yung mga movements kasi ni baby ngayon, di pa naman maramdaman sa labas mismo ng tummy ko, kya sabi nya tuloy "kayo lang naman mag-nanay nagpaparamdaman e." Selos sya. Hehe.

Which is witch - sis, I've learned nga din na may 2 grading pala. Yung isang grading is for placenta previa (how close placenta is to the cervical opening). Yung grade 1 dun means mataas, yung grade 2 means medyo mababa but not necessarily blocking the cervical os and both can deliver normally. The other type is for placental maturity. Kaya ko naisip na yung grade 2 sa akin pertains to maturity kasi sinabi nga din na high lying. Cause is unknown daw and there is no way to prevent it. It just has to be managed lang daw like lying on your left side, eating the right food, and close monitoring if baby is growing as expected. May ganun palang factor sa blood types? Ask ko nga din yung sa amin.

Hi sis xadie28! Ilang weeks ka na ngayon? Di nagkakalayo ang weight natin, 110 lbs ako ngayon. My pre-pregnancy weight was 110 lbs din then I lost 2 lbs nung first trimester. Ngayong nakakakain na ako, nasa 110 lbs na but same pa din sa pre-prenancy weight. Kaya I also gave myself permission to ice cream at meat. Regarding pananakit ng pempem, yung nararamdaman ko minsan yung parang may pressure na hinahatak sya pababa especially pag matagal naglakad or nakaupo. Hinihiga ko lang din tapos nawawala naman. Minsan din napapansin ko na parang swollen sya pero di naman masakit or makati. Siguro hormonal lang.

^^ di ba masama pag laging nau-ultrasound? Nabasa ko kase dapat in moderation din yung ultrasound unless kailangan talagang i-monitor yung condition ng baby. Actually na-surprise ako sa ibang sisses natin na may OB/Sonologist na madalas  tuwing visit may kasamang ultrasound. For healthy/normal pregnancy at most na daw yung 2 ultrasound.
