Bragging on Social Media

What kinds of bragging or humble bragging do you usually see on your social media newsfeed? Eto yung sa akin:

1. "Thank you Lord!" - then may magtatanong kung ano yon then walang reply ang nag-post. Pa-suspense effect.
2. "My hubby is soooo supportive! I'm so lucky! #blessed" - usually ang nakikitahan ko nito yung mga 1 year pa lang na married. 
3. "Ngiting upgrade!" - while standing in front of an Apple store

Yung picture ng binili mismo quesehodang drinks, shopping bags, shoes, airplane tickets at iba pang mga bagay bagay. Blessed daw ang tawag doon at hindi bragging. oh well.

Can I include here those who brag about their looks?

The #NoMakeUp #NoFilter #WokeUpLikeThis posts are very annoying when you can clearly see that they have make up on and obviously using the camera 360 app lol

There this lady who brags about almost everything even things she really doesn't (directly) own like the house of her auntie (she claims it na sa kanila pero obvious naman na sa auntie) pero she posts naman bragging and social climber patama quotes and articles at the same time. As in, super hate niya yata yung mga ganun. Minsan naiisip ko, yung mga social climber at mayayabang eh galit sa kapwa or katulad nila. Seriously, napansin ko na yan.

so.... who gets to say they're bragging on social media? what if they're just posting stuff and you're just too affected by it?

Noticing the bragging is different from being affected. You could sense naman people who brag about almost everything. Social media is all about showing the best of everything, generally, and I've seen posts from different point of views and it wouldn't take naman a rocket scientist brain to know the difference.   Ako personally, napapansin ko lang pero never naman ako naannoy.

Paano naman kung story book na ang fb lahat na lang nakapost. Lahat ng new ng bago saan kumakain naka post. Buti sana kung galing sa sariling sikap. Kawawa kasi un financer todo tipid.😁

ako not about bragging totally pero yung posts na annoyed talaga ko e eto:

1. #blessed tapos puru material things yung nakapost. nakakatuwa oo na e achievement ka pero para ibida-bida almost everyday, medyo annoying.

2. #nofilter hahaha di ko alam kung bakit kailangan ijustify yung nofilter effect. para sabihing ong gondo mo te?

3. #padeep na kala mo alam lahat pero para lang makiuso at makuha sympathy ng madlang people

Super agree.  Di naman ibig sabihin napansin eh affected ka na.  Obvious naman kung sinong nagmamayabang sa gusto lang mag-share.  Captions pa lang very telling na, more so kung kilala mo talga yung tao.  I hide/unfollow these people on FB.  Sa IG medyo tricky kasi makikita nila pag in-unfollow ko sila kasi naka-private setting ako.

And let those who love to post about those they love (walking hand in hand or wrapped in a too-tight embrace or drinking deeply from each other's eyes) wax rhapsodic about love (we have so little of this now). Do not ask them about their bad times nor harangue them for their obliviousness to elections or prison conditions or the wonder of Pokemon Go.

Let people curate their feeds as you curate yours.

Sometimes may mga nakakainspire din. Like he/she invested something kasi pinaghirapan nya. May mga post na nagsimula sya sa baba tapos nakamit nya yung goal nya.

Pero iritado ako sa mga nagpopost na nakapagtravel, nakabili ng mga mamahaling gamit pero utang  naman.

Meron kasi akong kaibigan, panay post, travel dito, travel dyan. Nakabili na ng slr, gadgets..etc pero may utang pa sa akin. Haha tamang yabang

Eto ewan ko pero may mga nagpipicture ng kape sa starbucks, para magmukhang sosyal daw.

Meron akong kilala. Nagpopost ng mga regalo ng hubby nya sa kanya. Okay lang naman kung lahat ng gift nasa isang photo pero isa-isa nyang kinukunan ng photo and ina-upload. Kasama pa bra at panty. Masyadong TMI. Haha!

Okay lang sakin magpost sila ng photos from their recent travels or events. Pero yung mga di ko keri makita sa newsfeed ko eh yung mga tipong kukunan ng picture yung sugat or mga kadiri tapos caption yung nangyari. Parang sana wag namang magpost ng ganun. Kadiri eh. Kwento nalang, wag na yung close-up picture ng sugat. Haha! I understand it's their timeline and they can do whatever they want with it pero may mga bagay talaga na di na dapat ipost katulad nun.

Meron nga series pa.. Ex. Buying car from practicing to car hunting and testing, blessing ng car tapos kung hanggang saan nakakarating un car. Photos ng car upside down as in open pa un hood para kita un makina nun sasakyan. Basta lahat ng about dun sa car. I can understand naman na proud and natutuwa having new car pero naman. Ewan ko ba parang too much bragging kasi kita naman model ng sasakyan naka caption woth bold and big letters pa kung anong brand and what year. What i did i unfollow her. Halos lahat kasi series ang post nya pati new camera and phone.

Actually nakakatawa talaga yun mga nagmamayabang sa social media about material things lalo na at alam mo naman na paguwi sa bahay sardinas lang ang ulam lol! Tapos puro utang at panay drama para makahingi ng tulong hehe
   Yung mga makapost tuwing nasa starbucks sila eh nakakaumay na kasi paulit ulit. Haha! Mocha frap lang naman ang ininom paulit ulit lang.
    Pero hindi ako naiinis, naaliw ako haha!
Mas naiinis ako dun sa mga puro selfie ang post. Kaumay ang mga fez lalo na at hindi naman kagandahan hahaha! Kulay gray na ang complexion sa sobrang pagkakafilter lol!
And dun sa mga selfie post tapos emo ang mga caption na copy paste lang naman kung saan. Minsan pagkahaba haba pa ng caption wala naman connect sa selfie pic niya lol!

Ah Meron pa pala ako kinakaaliwan sa social media, yung mga guy friends sa fb na panay gym pic, yung tipong pa athletic type ang mga post. Mga sports and activities na sinasalihan nila. Pati rubber shoes nakapost tapos caption gym time. As in super active type ang dating ng mga post.. Pero never mo  naman nakitaan ng improvement hehe. In fact lalo pa ngang lumulusog lol! Yun pala  akala mo naglalaro talaga ng sports eh ang totoo taganood lang at taga picture hehe.
