Private Company or Government Agency

^Wala naman sigurong masama dun kung i-praise yung mga govt employees .. para maencourage din sila to do their job and for other agencies to emulate them.  Di ko alam anong Facebook post yan pero public office yan kaya lahat naman talaga ng galaw nila eh naka-publicize negative or positive. Positive thing yung maraming chairs and walang masama dun. At least there are LGUs who actually do their job, para ma-encourage din yung ibang LGUs to do the same.

Di naman dahil given na yun yung trabaho nila eh wala na silang karapatan na i-praise or i-recognize. Nagbabayad din ng tax ang government employees. Kelangan din naman yun ng mga employees to do better.

"It's their job to serve the Filipinos" oo tama naman, pero di ba Filipinos din sila? Wala naman sigurong masama kung tutulungan din natin yung kapwa Flipiino natin, tulungan nating iangat yung gobyerno natin para mabago ang imahe nito dahil lahat naman tayo Filipino..

I'm a product of private schools, I also served a private companies owned by Chinese, now I am serving in public. Still ganun pa din ang performance ko. mas nag enjoy lang ako talaga ngayon sa Govt agency dahil sa perks. unlike sa private na all around iaasa sayo ang trabaho...

sa Govt agency kasi as per experience equally divided ang responsibilities...

take note: hindi po madali ma hire sa Govt agency if may chance po kayo makapagwork give your best po para ma promote din po kayo eventually.

I work in the government.

Hindi toxic ang trabaho. Ang toxic malimit, katrabaho mo. Masstress ka talaga dahil ng ibang empleyado.

i was torn between BPI (private) and BFAR (givernment) but i chose the former. sana good decision yung pinili ko.

nakakatuwa sa Gov't may salary grade code.. pag na reach mo na yung maximum sa GC kailangan tumaas ang grade code mo. hehe! promotion ang equivalent..

^^^Agree, sobrang chill lang sa government. I work in an SUC. Sa office namin, wala namang cases of corruption as far as I know. Being millennial, ang masasabi ko lang, naiinis ako minsan na hindi proactive yung older employees. Like, they accept everything as is. They don't question anything.

Ang ayaw ko lang sa government ay walang health card, at yung pinaka-nakakatawang joke about promotion: kailangan munang may ma-deads bago ka ma-promote. hehe.

In academia, it's always better to be a faculty than to be a staff. So if I plan to stay here, might as well look for a PhD program.

^ ako naman stress sa work ko sa govt ako acctg dept nagchecheck ng voucher kakapressure  talaga kasi alam mo yun kahit ka corrupt pwede ka madamay kasi di mo alam minsan yun mga papers na chinecheck mo

I worked sa government before. I can say mas maganda sa govenrment company compared sa private in terms of benefits. May budget for everything, rice allowance, uniform allowance etc... And may budget for training. Continuous training. In terms of corruption, so far wala naman ako na experience na ganun dun sa former workplace ko. ALthough for some government offices i know meron. Depende siguro sa work culture nung office. Sa amin kasi we work with camaraderie. Parang one big family kami. I can't say its perfect kasi wala naman perfect na workplace. But, it's better compared sa where I work now.

I just got a job sa isang SUC as a faculty. tinatapos ko pa lang ang MA ko. DEPED talaga ang target ko pero sa SUC ako napunta at nag ka offer. sorry for asking this, im a noob at this stuff, parehas lang ba ng salary grade ang isang SUC at DEPED teacher na parehas ng qualifications? I know faculty sa SUC salary grade ay naka depende sa course niya. pero Im just curious sa sweldo. mas maliit ba ang sweldo ng teacher sa SUC, mas mataas or parehas lang sa deped?
