On Emcees or Wedding Hosts (part 4)

Hi! Share ko lang yung review ko kay Rio. Simula pa lang na nakausap ko sya magaan na yung loob ko sa kanya kasi very entertaining and accommodating siya when I inquired and gusto ko yun kasi alam ko mas madali kami magkakaintindihan when it comes to my requests and friendly din kasi talaga ako kaya nag click kami kaagad.

Moving forward to our first meeting, nakakatuwa kasi she was very prepared nakafile talaga lahat and documented para talagang personalized yung program. At first nakakatamad talaga magsagot sa file niya pero pag palapit na yung wedding nakaka-enjoy na lalu na kung alam mo na malaki yung maitutulong nun sa program. True enough malaking bagay nga talaga kasi mas maganda na kilala ng host yung couple personally para mas effective siya to host the program!

On the day of the wedding, maaga siya dumating and nakakatuwa siya mag host kasi very lively, walang dull moment, smooth sailing ang program at higit sa lahat calibrated sila ng coordinators namin pagdating sa time and program. Wala kami inintindi! She made sure that all my requests were granted! Madami din nagbigay ng feedback na guests namin na super natuwa sa pag host niya! Best decision talaga ang  pagkuha namin sa kanya! We highly recommend her  kasi bukod sa hindi siya pricey, magaling pa, at masarap ka-work! And we are still good friends until now.

Hi Sis, Try Lia Guerrero. She's super attentive to detail and what the couple wants. She's classy and fun. No dull moment talaga yung program and magaling siya sumalo for any glitches. All our guests loved her and so did we! May mga nag-book sa kanya after our wedding agad! haha!

Same observation with Rio De Guzman kaya i did not push through. Try Nadine Smith. Si Portia Trinidad also is kind kaya lang very malumanay for me yung videos nya.

@racrac_uy, we got JC Alelis but our wedding is December pa. We booked a different host at first but I kept on watching JC's videos so we decided to meet him. After the meeting, h2b and I were both impressed. He's very eloquent yet enjoy kausap so hopefully he is also like that during the wedding. Also, he was highly recommended by our coordinator and another coord that we met (but did not book hehe) and according to them he is very used to a Chinese crowd.

Maybe you would want to meet or speak to both of them so you'll know whose style you prefer and more comfortable with

I tried contacting rio de guzman of dazzle events and disappointed ako kasi she is not responding to my messages. Nung una ang bilis nya magrespond after asking her rates she said that she will send it to my email but never received one. Tried following up on fb messenger seen zone lang. :-(

I contacted JC Alelis, but he's already booked on our wedding day. sayang talaga. Sister daw kasi ng former bride kaya binook agad sya noon pa.
Anyway, I'm thinking of getting DTS. I saw her hosting video, is she super formal ba or perky din naman? Or mas jolly ba mag-emcee si Rio?

Just got married last December!

We also had a hard time looking for a host because we were keen in getting someone who had a good mix of humor, formality and good grammar.

One tip I can give if you're still looking for your host is to check the kind of crowd you'll have and what kind of hosting you'd like your emcee to have. Sa amin, we didn't want na super kagulo because we know everyone we invited and we know what would make them feel comfortable. So even the games we gave thumbs up to, we really filtered.

We ended up getting Ms. Portia Trinidad. I had the same concern because she didn't seem like someone who was upbeat but she stood up to the plate and delivered on our wedding. All our guests loved her. She was classy, never too pushy, was courteous and injected just the right kind of "entertainment" to the program.

Hi Sis! We're getting Eri Neeman already! Sobrang saya to finally tick something off my list. Ang tagal namin pinag-isipan ito. Hahaha.

As a couple, we're both fun and kalog so we want our wedding to be like that din. These were the people who got into our list and their corresponding rates for a wedding in Tagaytay/Silang/Cavite:

> RJ Ledesma (eloquent; good when it comes to games but too formal for our taste --Php25k)
> Atom Ungson (according to his profile get him if you want a formal and classy wedding so, no na agad. Haha --Php30k)
> JC Alelis (not as fun as I expect him to be-- Php25k)
> Francis Day (I saw his interview with Heart and I thought he was conyo and formal-- Php30k)
> Eri Neeman (get him if you want a fun, witty, has a good sense of humor and kalog host. He was previously with Bubble gang so you know what to expect -- Php35k)
> DJ Suzy and CJ aka Big meal (if you want a kagulo, halakhak wedding get them! I saw a video of them hosting a wedding, sobrang saya lang!-- Php130k  )

For those who booked JC Alelis for their wedding -- you won't regret it! He is the best! He hosted my wedding last Feb 18 He is one of the suppliers who we got the most compliments/feedback on. All my guests loved him (a wide range of ages too). Many guests approached us to say that he was the best wedding emcee they had seen. I really think that he is one of the main reasons my guests enjoyed our reception program so much -- he really captured everyone's attention and was so easy to communicate with. Our program flowed very well. No delays or glitches
