MS_JanDel Yup, OOT talaga ang isa sa mga factors kaya napapalaki yung gastos pero winner naman lalu na at beach wedding kayo! nako sis kayang-kaya yan ng 8 months noh! Wah niyo pressure sarili niyo lalu na Christmas season is coming kaya madaming paparating pang blessings.

LilaFowler sis gusto ko yung idea na second hand robe, cord, veil etc. kaso may nagbebenta kaya nun? Di ko nga din naisip yan, now lang.

pretty_B sis don't be pressured.. well sa una talaga nakakalulal siya as in. ako din parang hihimatayin ako eh pero habang tumatagal kaya naman pala just be strict lang sa planning at priorities.


lots-o wow that's a huge amount para sa number of guests pero sis you have a great set of suppliers naman kaya worth it! I'm sure all of them will deliver beautifully. And kung afford naman at happy kayo, go lang!

littlemissbiatch sis I also believe na best investment din ang coordinator lalu na if magaling, maasikaso, at talagang malaki yung help na binigay sa couple. Kung overseas bride din ako yan siguro ang pagkakagastusan ko ng todo. You are blessed kasi nakatipid ka sa flights.. I think yan ang isa sa pinakamagastos na part pag nagpplan pag overseas couple. Ang galing mo sis di mo na include yung gown at shoes hehe

I considered getting a 2nd hand dress too. Pero almost the same/cheaper magpagawa sa Pilipinas kesa 2nd hand overseas.

I'm scouring ebay for a lace robe for preps. That I will probably sell for the same amount I bought it for. Same for shoes.

Considering borrowing my cousin's secondary veil, cord and arras.

Di din ako naniniwala sa "this only happens once." This is H2B's second marriage. I'm not thinking we would end up in divorce, pero there's a lot of things that come after marriage that we need to save up for kids and owning your home, saving up for investments, retirement.

Agree sis! When we were preparing I hated it when people say masyado daw kaming nagtitipid, eh minsan lang naman daw ikakasal. I don't want that to get to my head kasi the more I think na minsan lang ito, umiiral ang princess complex ko lol. Na kelangan may ganito, kelangan may ganyan. When in reality hindi naman talaga kelangan. and true, gastos never stops after ng wedding.

Good to know may gusto bumili ng mga second hand veil, arras, robe etc, aalikabukin lang ito so might as well ibenta after. But I'll keep my robe, saw some mom2bs na they use their bridal robe for maternity shoot. 🙂 As for my gown, my friend is already asking me to sell it to her after my wedding in case may plan akong ibenta, kasi gagawin niyang business. 🙂

^ I like din the idea of using the bridal robe for the maternity shoot. Depending on how my wedding gown will turn out I might have it altered into something else. I don't want to be burdened kasi by storage and maintenance (my friends tell me na every x months they have to take their wedding dresses out of the box para hindi mag-develop ng creases, etc.), which is additional cost din.

@kdramaholic we agreed kasi na we will split expenses 50/50. Pero I know na my dress is going to be a great deal more expensive than his suit, so sabi ko kanya-kanya na lang kami ng bili, para fair. So hindi na namin sinama sa budget both items.

Oo nga sis eh. Tiwala naman ako na maiipon namin, we can also divest our stocks if we really need to. Kaya natinoh sis. hahaha. ang hirap minsan magipon pero pagnagiisip ko na yung wedding day, namomotivate ako. hahaha!

sis di ako bibili ng mga wedding accessories kasi included na siya sa package ng gown ko. try mo sis hanap sa divisoria or meron din sa landmark. i think hindi naman siguro yun mahal. 

sis maedonnas naisip ko din yung robe for maternity shoot. Yun din naisip ko kaya nagdecide ako na bibili ako ng robe. heheh

raiizea sis, initially planned to get at least 2 houses sa Sotto Grande, for 2 sides, sakin and sa groom. Kasama kasi namin abays since bffs namin halos abay namin mga taga QC kasi. So para safe since Tagaytay pa.

Sotto Grande houses nasa 8-12k lang per night tapos nasa 12-15 persons per house ang kaya iaccommodate.

Pero Sir Willie told me na merong mini hotel itatayo for Casa de Corazon, may 6 rooms and mabibigyan nya ko ng reasonable rates.So aabangan ko yun. Latter part ko na ibook prep house.

Yung Casa de Corazon, btw may prep room sya pwede gamitin from 6AM to 12 midnight so magagamit ko yun if ever.

Anyhoots, yung halos 1m namin na budget kasama na honeymoon and gastos paguwe. 150 pax na guests and DW na din naman Tagaytay, so I guess di na masama budget namin. Tipid din naman kami, maski papano hehe.

I also plan to keep everything, gown, shoes etc. Thanks for mentioning robe, that's my goal today. any recommendations? Magkano ba usually dapat? Nakita ko sa shoots now, pati entourage naka robe na for preps hehe.

I have a copy of La Tercera rates kala ko nung una ang mahal dahil puro artista nagsusuot, surprisingly may mga affordable! Sayang I already requested the couturier of my entou gowns na gawan ako! Huhuhu! Napapa-isip ako bumili pero wag na lang kasi di na practical.

hi sis! hindi sya updated. pero super nagbago kami from venue to p/v, etc.
as of today we are at 396k. so far kasama naman na lahat dyan. pahinga muna sa preps, next year na ulit.
