parang napaisip ako bakit ang mahal ng rings namen? Well siguro iisipin ko nalang lagi at maniniwala nalang ako sa mga nagsasabi na iba daw ang quality ng gold at diamonds dito sa dubai, pampapalubag loob. haha

Feeling ko kasi ang mahal ng bili namen. hehe

Yung anniversary ring (trinity ring) and yung wedding ring (full eternity) ang cute pag pinag stack ko sa ring finger ko. Inalis ko na kuna si engagement ring (solitaire) kasi baka ma impede na circulation sa dami ng rings. LOL

Ganda ng full eternity talaga. :-)

Our rings are from Mayfair and I wish we got them somewhere else only because people there are so masungit. Like they dont value customers at all.

Has anybody tried Golden Hills Jewelry for their wedding ring? Pulido naman ba pagkakagawa nila? The sales person were telling me n mas ok daw ang 14k white gold as compared to 18k white gold if we wont hve platinum para sa setting. Any thoughts mga sissies?

^The international standard is really 18k gold for fine jewelry. BUT-- for our wedding rings and engagement ring setting I really requested for 14k. Kasi the more the gold the softer the metal. SO 14k is stronger and scratches less than 18k.

Besides there's no difference in how it looks, especially in white gold. If yellow or rose gold, I think there is a slight difference in the color of the gold.

Here naman sa dubai, specially in Gold Souk (Marketplace), very seldom ang 14k.
Puro 18k and some are 22k.

I think you have to specifically asked for 14k. Baka nga made to order na to.

But its true, 14k are strong talaga. Lalo na siguro yung 10k, may nabasa ko Wedding ring pa ng great grand mother nya yung gamit nila 10k, maayos na maayos pa yung ring. Matibay sya because of the metal.

Hi, sis!  We just met up with Tita Lynn and Ms. Grace last weekend to confirm our order and to make a deposit.  I will give you my feedback once I receive our rings.  Ipaprioritize daw nya ang amin kasi first week of Feb ang kasal namin tapos last week lang kami nagpagawa. Hahaha.
You are right na they are very accommodating and they reply promptly at lahat ng tanong sasagutin nila.  Medyo wala ngang recent reviews sa kanila dito sa GT but dito ko sila nakilala at lahat ng previous reviews nila ay okay naman.  During our meetup, there were around 4 or 5 more girls na nagcoconfirm ng order sa kanila.

Wow! I have learned a lot from this thread. Thank you for sharing  H2B and I are still looking for our rings, I have a sensitive skin and I've got allergies in metals. So, I don't really wear any jewelries. Still thinking and looking for options. Do you have any suggestions for sensitive skin mga sis? H2B said, titanium is good for me.

the carat na nakalagay sa inside ng ring, is that the carat ng ring itself or carat ng diamonds dun sa ring? mine has about 20 tiny tiny diamonds.

^ the number that you can find inside the ring,on the locks of necklaces, on the locks of your earrings- would be the carat of the metal used 14,18, 24. The diamonds are usually given with a certificate stating the total carats. If it's loose stones, they normally come with GIA certification. Hope this helps.

Any recommendation on a design that doesn't scratch easily? Ours is already 14k gold but my husband's ring grabe ang gasgas We're going to have it reset but no idea on which design to get.

Hi j.adore! My husband also didn't want his ring to be scratched so he opted for unconventional materials for his ring. Our rings super don't match but he's happy with his naman and I think it looks good on him

My rings are platinum so it does scratch easier than gold, however when gold is scratched it is actually losing metal, while in platinum the metal is just being displaced. This leads to the patina finish seen in antique rings. I really don't mind the myriad of scratches at the back of my rings, they are so tiny that it just dulls the otherwise high polish finish - which I actually like

We chose 14k gold instead of 18k so it wont scratch as easily but looking at the husband's ring, andami parin talaga! All over nga sa kanya, I guess it spins and touches on everything. Well, all the more reason to do those upgrades sooner hahahha! Kala ko every 10 years if ever maguupgrade (kasabay ng life stages and status, bec now we started with cheap wedding bands) pero wala pa nga kaming 1 month gasgas na kanya. Siguro as we go along we'll figure out din what metals scratch less, and invest in those for the future rings

kwento ko lang, its a mistake actually. H2b's finger is soooo big!!! Yung iba ayaw nila, di daw pwede mag adjust ng ganun kalaki. They suggested a simple gold ring, 22k. So binili na namen.

Then some friends sabi papalitan daw namen, dapat 18k lang kasi masyadong malambot ang 22k.

Since engraved na sya, 2nd hand na sya technically, so we we're forced to sell the gold. buti nalang mataas pa din naman ang palit, but still we lost like 5k pesos! kakainis.

Pero ok na din kasi we're so happy sa ring na nabili namen.
Almost looks like this, may alon yung yello gold design, tapos both our rings have 3 small diamonds.

Sis almost the same tayo ng design ng wedding ring iyong second pic na pinost mo mas manipis lang ng konti iyong kay hubby. i agree with you guys na hindi naman kailangan match ang e-ring and wedding ring. the first e-ring that i got from hubby was a plain silver ring then few months after he bought me a white gold one with 1 diamond stone in the center not sure about the size though. on the other hand we bought our wedding rings in Matus during a bridal fair.
