Hi sissies! Gusto ko lang ishare yung experience namin with our supplier. We got our wedding rings at Suarez kasi namurahan kami, 40k yung rings namin ni hubby, 14k white gold with 5 diamonds each. Unfortunately, after less than 2 months, nagkaron ng black stain yung ring ni hubby. Yung sakin naman, after 4 months sya nagkaron ng stains. Pati yung mga gasgas ng rings namin di ko expected kasi yung engagement ring ko (bought at a different store in MOA), 14k din naman pero until now (after 1.5 years) makintab pa rin at mukhang bago. Actually, a year since I got my engagement ring, gusto ko na sana ipalinis sa store kasi sabi nila dapat ipacleaning sya once a year. Pero nung pagpunta ko sa store, sabi nila no need pa kasi mukhang bago pa naman. Eh yung wedding rings namin, bago pa lang pero mukhang luma na. Ang budget nga lang namin nung una around 25-30k, pero pagpunta ni hubby sa Suarez, nagandahan naman sya sa mga rings nila kaya go na din kahit 40k, discounted pa sya nung time na yun. Hayyy nanghihinayang talaga ako mga sis kasi hindi din naman biro ang 40k. I don't know kung bakit ganun quality ng rings namin. Feeling ko tuloy 925 silver lang sya.

Medyo weird sis that 14k white gold gets stains or black marks.. pacheck nyo siguro sa Suarez. Or if you want pa-appraise mo muna sa iba para sure kayo na 14k gold sya haha

Our own rings are now done and thankfully the shop will hold it for us till we're able to pick it up next year. I haven't seen the final product yet but now I get everyone's kilig; I'm so excited/impatient to see it!!

hi girls, what do you think of rings with side set diamonds? diba usually nasa top ng ring ang stone? pag side set, nasa width nung ring nakalagay yung stone. so top view hindi mo makikita yung stone pero pag sideview, dun mo makikita yung stone. gets nyo ba? hehe sorry. i just want to know if comfy ba siya suotin. do you think kaya siya icomfort fit?

Finally, nakabili na din kami ng wedding ring. Umabot pa sa last day ng sale. Spent 12K for a pair of 14karat rings from Karat World. Ok na naman siguro iyon noh? Any ideas/advice/comments

So we got back to Mayfair to claim our rings. And wow! Box office yung shop! Upon entering, we felt that everyone is in good mood! So, here we go, we gave our claim stub and voila! after a few minutes, the same SA who assisted us back then handed over our rings. and what the fudge has happened to our rings? it was glistening! HAHA! The previous correction in engraving turned out to be a good thing pala! We have it engraved again. Finally, the names were correct. Paid for it and happily left the shop. Yeeeeeeey!

Nice sis twinxz! Glad to know you are now happy with your rings. We went to Ongpin din last weekend ng September. Planning to get our rings either from Mayfair or Ty Po Huat. Wala talaga kaming plan to visit other stores since ito lang yung may mga nabasa kaming good reviews. Kakatakot din kasi baka hindi gold yung makuha namin sa ibang stores. We got there around 10am, close pa ang Mayfair. Late pala sila nag oopen. Dahil tamad na kami mag antay, we ordered our rings na lang from Ty Po Huat. Maayos kausap si Ms Joanne (owner). Will be getting our rings daw in 2 weeks. Aga lang namin bumili ng rings hehe at least one down na ulit on preps. Konti na lang

this is the first thing we bought right after engagement. kahit wala pa kaming date and venue. we got our pair of 18k rings at esotico for 52k.

Hi mga sis! We bought our wedding rings sa J's diamond, from lucky china town but we ordered ours sa isang wedding fair. Last february lang pero yung ring ni hubby na 18k white gold nag t turn na into yellowish or rose gold-ish pero mine is still Ok. Magkaiba kami design pala, sa kanya machine-made daw. Mejo disappointing lang kasi ang bilis. Di ko din ma pa service agad. Accdg sa isang store, mas ok daw pag 14k white kasi matagal bumalik sa pag ka yellow gold. My e-ring is 14k and 18k for wed ring but they're both fine. So naisip ko nalang dahil machine-made ring ni hubby kaya nag iba agad kulay.

Sa mga bibili palang mas ok talaga if may kasamang free servicing yung rings at location-wise, madali niyong mapuntahan in case.

^true sis. if you backread pa sis, may mga cases na nire-resize kasi lumaki na yung fingers nyo ni h2b. And mas OK din talaga sis ang 14K coz its harder than 18K. From what I learned here also, less gasgasin ang 14K than 18K.

^ay talaga sis? h2b prefers 18k kasi nga 750 gold. mas mabigat. and less resistant to tarnishing daw. pero yung gasgas effect, di na namin naconsider. magagasgas naman talaga sa katagalan. hehe

Gold kasi sis is basically malambot daw. The higher the K, mas madaming gold kaya mas malambot. hihi! true sis! magagasgas talaga kaya better if yung jeweller is located sa country kung saan ka nakatira, pwede rin polish.

ours kasi si h2b talaga pumili. kaya hinayaan ko lang sya. tapos di ko rin inexpect na bibilhin na nya that same day. usapan kasi magcacanvas lang. nung binili nya, i felt that this is it na talaga! we're getting married kasi may wedding ring na! kaya di ko na naisip yang mga factors na ganyan. hehe. apir sis!
